It is located in downtown, there are many restaurants, bars, and massage places walking distance. The staff are warm and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Basic breakfast is also included.

We had the pleasure to eat at Belmont Cafe. It was an exceptional experience and the service was second to none. From the greeting upon entry to the quality of food and the attentiveness we received, the entire time was incredible. We had the four cheese pizza, fresh lumpia, Laing and other items. The food was beyond delicious and can’t wait to taste more dishes in the future. We want to give special recognition for Chef Ri, she checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food, a rare thing and much appreciated. Special recognition as well to our server Michael, he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and was one of the most attentive I have seen, he provided the highest quality of service and others in the future will have a hard time matching his skills. Thank you for all you did to make our dinner one we will not forget.

The room is very clean. The bedding is very comfortable. The Jr. Suite is inexpensive and spacious. The bathroom tub faucet needs maintenance. The kitchen and wait staff of the hotel isn't great. For instance the service water is often dirty. There are often dirty dishes. The wait staff are below par, often failing to provide basic service (serving the dirty water or clearing away dirty dishes). The housekeeping staff are super friendly and do a great job. I think for the price it's a great choice for a hotel.

Great place for families. Lots of activity options and restaurants. However, there are many areas requiring maintenance, including rusty structures and peeling paint in the pool area. Small TV and other room furniture better to be upgraded considering other comparable hotels. Locationwise, there isn't many places that can beat JPark as there are plenty of shops and restaurants right across street.

The hotel in the Philippines provided a reasonably comfortable stay during my recent visit. The location was convenient, close to popular tourist attractions and transportation hubs. Our supposed enjoyable day turned into frustration due to Solea's almost 2-hour check-in delay. Despite offering a 2-hour late check-out as compensation, when we checked out, they forgot to contact us about returning our deposit, leading to further inconvenience and fatigue. This experience left us feeling dissatisfied and unhappy.

We had a late and delayed flight but grateful the van (free airport shuttle) waited for us. The lobby was simple & check-in was easy. Before going up to our room, they asked us to get the amenities we need (dental kits, shaving kits & combs). We stayed at the Twin C Room, it has a big ref, kitchen sink, tv, microwave, dining table & chairs & 2 big beds. The bathroom was like the ones in Japan, compact & small. There were no cabinets too. The beds were comfortable to sleep on & the ac was working well. Breakfast was served in what was like a cafeteria hall, it was supposed to be plated but it was served buffet style, breakfast menu was simple. It changes everyday. Location of the hotel is superb & convenient because its connected to J Centre Mall and there were pharmacies, banks, convenience stores & a spa nearby. Happy to have our massage there. The hotel was also beside the Skywater theme park but unfortunately it was indefinitely closed. Checkout was easy too. They allowed us to leave our luggage because we have a late flight, we just came back for it. We weren’t able to avail of the free shuttle going back to the airport because we weren’t able to book a day before (it’s not automatic even if they have your flight information), good thing we have relatives to bring us to the airport. Overall, price was reasonable and we had a nice & comfortable stay here.

It's rare to find a place that offers such a well-rounded experience without breaking the bank. In conclusion, our time at Solea Mactan was nothing short of incredible.
