Hotels with Bars in Central Jakarta

Nice hotel in a good location but long overdue for some renovation, was there years back and no improvement. Had some faulty switches that was built in at the bedside drawer, toilet bowl area has no floor trap for the water to flow towards, glassware was not cleaned properly etc.

We visited this hotel 2 weeks ago, receptionist greeted us with smile, booking process only need several minutes, there is comfortable lobby for waiting and very wide pool. We booked suite room because its the biggest room for us to take maternity photo and there is bathup with nice night city view. BBQ night dinner taste was awesome with butter rice, various fresh fish, sirloin corner, salad bar and lot of desserts. Breakfast taste is good and mostly indonesia traditional food, you should try their porridge. Dental kit using great quality with branded toothpaste. Checkout process very fast and after that we go to pasar baru with 3 minutes walk. Special thanks for receptionist staff and restaurant staff for your friendly services. We definitely will be back if there is chance.

Beautiful hotel with its greenery and winding pools. Location is excellent along a not too busy street. The reception was attentive to our needs. Assisted us when I needed medical care, there is a hospital nearby. They kindly extended our check out time as our flight was in the evening. Breakfast spread was excellent and so was the in room service. Thank you.

The hotel was nice and the staff was lovely, we received a free upgrade for our stay that made us feel very welcome! The breakfast was also lovely with a large selection of food. Nice view from the high floors. Very recommended!

Location very good and easy access to services, food & beverages. Breakfast has a huge range of options both local, Asian and Western but would be nice with a basic self service coffee and juice bar also. Staff overall nice and helpful. Rooms are a bit worn and rather small given the price though seems most other options in the area are also very expensive.

Disappointed with the check in process. I arrived at 15:25, but the room was not yet available. even though the check-in time should be 14:00. no apologies and also very ignorant. I was left standing in front of the check-in counter until I was asked if I should stand here waiting for a room to become available? Apart from towels, amenities in the toilet are only available for one person, while bookings are for 2 people. Room is ok, clean and neat.

We had an amazing stay. My little boy approved. Even after staying 3 days 2 nights, he said, ”I still want to stay at this hotel.” We loved the pool, it's huge and even got a deep area. On mornings, there are kids activities by the poolside. The menu for breakfast varied. Yet I have to note the staff need better coordination during breakfast times when it's full. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and this morning I had to walk around looking for a seat. It's better to make a waiting list if the seats are full so guests don't have to walk around looking for an available seat. Perhaps use walkie talkie between staff at the restaurant reception and another staff taking notes of available seats.

This stay was really amazing. I was greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay. Room was fantastic, clean and good maintenance. Executive lounge was perfect with best service from Butler and delicious food. I will recommended this hotel to my customer...

My last staycation in Shangri-la hotel Jakarta on 31 May 2023 was amazing. The dinner in satoo was delicious and the staff especially the waiter, Mr. Bayu so friendly and helpful. My most recent staycation was at the Shangri-la Hotel in Jakarta on May 31, 2023. The dinner at Satoo was great, and the waiter, particularly the waiter, Mr. Bayu, was extremely nice and helpful. Thanks for the service.
