Family-friendly Hotels in Changsha

The hotel is so beautiful, the view was amazing, the environment was so quiet and the sorrounding area was so good. Can even take an evening walk by the river. Enjoyed it so much

I came to the sixth floor to get coffee. The waiter Xiao Feng was very warm and thoughtful. The environment was very good. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Changsha in the future. It is worthy of the service of a five-star hotel. The coffee is delicious and fragrant

Although the room furniture is slightly dated, it is conveniently located next to i-City mall and serves as a centralised location to explore Changsha. Opt for the daily breakfast and you will not be disappointed. Most of the local food can be found at the buffet and the view on the 43rd floor is magnificent. The only downside was the strong smell of cigarettes that permeated the air in the room. Remember to bring your own swimming cap if u intend to utilise the indoor swimming pool, otherwise u will not be allowed to enter the pool. Swimming caps retail at 40CNY a piece, so BYOC (Bring Your Own Cap)!

A very well kept established hotel with large room , clean, impressive toiletries ( Appelles brand ), excellently located to main tourist spots.Though Changsha is a place full of wonderful food ( chilli drenched fish head), there is a McDonald next door (just in case). The hotel staff also very polite and very kind in giving us free goodies bag ( full of local famous Hunan snacks) and by booking with Trip.com, was offered free most famous Local Bubble tea Cha Yan Yue Se 茶颜悦色 delivered to room. Thank you

The room is spacious with a wide view. The whole city is in sight from the high floor. Guanyue at the front desk responded quickly and provided thoughtful service. Ctrip originally did not include breakfast, but after learning that we were gold members, they gave us one more day of breakfast. Very nice!

We stayed at the Kempinski for two nights and were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded our room to a higher category upon arrival. The room had a bath and all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and welcoming, although there were some language challenges. They made an effort to help with translation apps when needed. The room service was expensive, even for local Chinese cuisine. If you order food from outside, you have to pick it up in the lobby as they don't offer room delivery. The lobby restroom was dirty and needs improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with the unexpected room upgrade and friendly staff. 👍

Room is per photos. Clean and modern. Plenty of food delivery options nearby. Easy access to subway. Highly recommend. Note it is not within walking distance to Wuyi Square or the main touristy areas but the subway or taxi is easily available. Very convenient.

Excellent hotel - location is convenient for most of the main sights and restaurants. Service is excellent (despite only a few staff speaking any English). Room was very spacious, clean and bed comfortable. Good amenities. Breakfast excellent with wide selection and lots of seating, even at peak times. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

This is a really excellent hotel ! I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The location is great and within easy reach of all main sites and the underground system. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I had dinner twice in the Chinese restaurant on 5th floor and both times this was excellent. However, the greatest asset of this hotel is definitely its staff. All staff members are all really efficient with a great attitude and also a nice smile. From the moment I entered until I left, it was right through an excellent experience with all the staff I came across, be it in reception, housekeeping, restaurant or concierge. I have to especially mention Jack, who I believe is the Head Concierge. I asked him how can I buy tickets for the river night cruise, and he arranged everything for me. He called the boat cruise company, bought the tickets for me, sent me the QR code, sent me very detailed on how to arrive at the pier, and sent me messages later in the evening to see whether I had arrived and whether I took the boat. He also gave me his contact details and asked me to call him if I encounter any issues or need any translations. This service attitude of this person is unbelievable and I really want to thank him for all his great support. I really recommend this hotel to whoever visits Changsha.
