I was very satisfied with my stay at Howard Johnson Plaza Changsha during the May Day holiday. Before I checked in, the lady from the VIP reception team at the front desk patiently answered my questions and helped me deal with the problems after I checked out. I booked a one-night stay in Changsha. Joy Butler called me one day in advance to ask what I needed for check-in. Since the mattress was very soft, she helped me change the mattress and pillow. On the day of check-in, it only took 15 minutes to get to the hotel from Changsha South Station by taking three subway stations. You don't need to exit the subway station. The first floor is the hotel lobby. Check-in is on the 48th floor of the hotel. The butler has prepared afternoon tea and brought milk and coffee. The hotel is located in the Yunda shopping mall, which is very convenient for eating and drinking. The butler also prepared bath water for the night bed service, put a steam eye mask at the head of the bed, and sent fruits and snacks. It was very considerate. It's worth staying!

I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities. It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute! The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log. Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.) The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place. The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable. Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great. Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city. Definitely recommend staying here! This W Hotel flawlessly combines luxury, sophistication, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a standout hotel.
