Elegant hotel, great location with super fast valet parking. There is a small coffee shop located near the lobby and we had fresh, hot coffee both mornings. The rooms are adequately appointed and are quiet. We strolled around the hotel and found fun, curated local art to photograph and discuss. The Walnut Street pedestrian bridge is literally outside the front door and you can stroll across the river. There is a rooftop pool, but it was far too cold to use it. We did use the gym...it is small but has everything you need for a decent workout. This was a great getaway to break up the winter doldrums. There is a rooftop bar (Whiskey Thief) which has a good river view and a fun evening vibe. When we visited, it was especially busy at night. Highly recommend!

Pros: the art in the lobby Cons: The room was tiny, tiny, tiny. Walking path between furniture was very narrow. Dusty light pendant, dusty curtains. Carpet stain. Weird corner rug holder piece that is majorly in the way, asking to be tripped over. Crumbs on the stool that was there to sit on. But the bathroom was clean & nice.

The valet guys were very nice & professional The customer service needs improvement we were told to use the app If we had questions & room service was never available! One hour late check out was not available! The cleaning staff did a great job there just wasn’t enough of them! The restaurant staff were excellent Food not so much and very over priced I will look for another more family friendly hotel next stay ! Pool was pitiful

Two women in their 70s have been assigned a pretty room with a dangerous carpet binding. We have both tripped over it. I am 4 weeks out from having had knee replacement and my friend is not always steady as she is 75 years old. We sought a room change and the front desk supervisor told us that all of their rooms had the similar carpeting issue. With this said we were told they might send an engineer to our room. Since the binding circles the two double beds I could not see what could be done. We have placed the trash can over the elevated binding corner. We plan to stay here because of our fun weekend planned but we are being cautious and hope for the best. Of note the corner binding as shown in the photo has obviously been stumbled over and damaged from previous guests.

The staff was wonderful! Really enjoyed all the local artist works displayed throughout the hotel. Great location on the river to walk the bridge & sit at the rooftop bar overlooking the river. Room was nicely decorated, large & clean. Quick trip but well worth the stop.

I had a great visit to the Edwin. The hotel was in a great location with a very kind and accommodating staff. From the valets and bell service to the front desk staff, I have nothing but great things to say. We were given complimentary drink tokens for the rooftop bar which was an amazing spot. We also visited the spa next door and had a great facial experience in beautiful and calming atmosphere. I would love to come back on a return visit to Chattanooga.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Edwin! The location was close to the aquarium and dining that we enjoyed. Service and food was great all weekend. The hotel was clean and everyone that helped us was friendly. Especially appreciated the valet help from Joe Q!

Loved, loved this hotel. Great location in downtown - easy walk if you wanted to visit the downtown sites - aquarium or zoo. We loved walking out the front door and walking across the pedestrian bridge. Room was so lovely - large, nicely furnished - wonderful view. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and had shareables for dinner. Great view and great drinks.! Would highly recommend staying here again!

We just had our 2nd great experience at The Edwin! From the minute we stepped out of the car and were greeted by Joe Q. the whole two days were fantastic! Specific mention to Joe Q., Jocelyn at The Whitebird and Jules at Whiskey Thief - all three were super friendly and provided great service! The Edwin never disappoints!
