"Read Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. The lobby is classic and our Manor room was well appointed. We encountered two problems though. The front desk clerk was very short with us at checkin and seemed annoyed to answer our questions about valet parking. But, most importantly, our room was so very noisy at night. The walls are paper thin and we heard every conversation in the neighboring room. Also, the doors in our hallway closed with a loud bang every time a guest closed their door. It was one of the worst nights of sleep we have ever encountered in a hotel. At checkout the clerk did not greet us except to ask if we wanted our receipt printed or emailed. No “How was your stay?” was asked. We chose not to complain to her at checkout as she didn’t seemed concerned about us as guests."
"The hotel was much bigger than I expected and the facilities were good. The staff were all friendly. Due to my travel schedule, I ended up just sleeping, so I regretted not being able to use the pool, bar, etc. I would like to use it again next time I go to Chattanooga."
"It's always a pleasure staying at this property. Their staff is excellent, free parking, restaurant is nice with a simple menu and it is located close to shopping , coffee shops and restaurants."
"Wow Wow Wow what a hotel - Service was excellent - The Room was extra clean and stocked with towels -
The staff were extra special - Duan , Melchia, Maya and Julio helped with our luggage - Nice young man,
What a room - Amazing and the hole expierence and ambiance of the Hotels is really special -
Defiantly recommend this one"
"The bed covers were for a queen bed however the room had a king bed. Surely housekeeping would have noticed the covers didn't cover the bed! There were 5 tissues in the dispenser. The window shade would not open. The bed frame hit the back of our legs when getting in or out of bed. The mattress needs to be replaced as there is a hump in the middle. This is the 5th Tru hotel we have stayed in & this location doesn't measure up to what we have come to expect from a Hilton property"
"Hotel was clean. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked great. One light in bathroom was burned out, but no big deal, it was just an overnight stay. Had a full tasty breakfast. Had amenities close by. Logan's steakhouse, China buffet, and Walmart across the street. Cracker Barrell and Waffle House right around the corner. 10 minutes from downtown and other attractions. Friendly staff, would stay again."
"Our stay was great. The hotel was clean. Our room was cozy and clean. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. The location was convenient to our family and places to visit. We are grateful and will return again."
"Wonderful staff clean rooms the housekeepers are very nice and the front desk staff are very nice and helpful. No breakfast but they have a restaurant that open 24 hours that serves everything even has the best cakes and pies around. They also have a heated pool that's open all year. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody traveling with kids or just on a fun vacation."
"The American breakfast is almost the same. The hotel is in a good location, with dining and parking. Marriott's hotels are better than general hotel chains, and it is more convenient to drive to tourist attractions."

Great
GGuest UserBed was not clean. There was hair and food crumbs on the sheets! Front desk clerk was very nice and brought us some sheets. She said that she was the only one at the hotel so she couldn’t send anyone to change the sheets for us so we had to change our own bed!
Around 10pm after we had gone to bed, we started hearing someone running and jumping around in the room above us. We waited patiently for about an hour to see if they would settle down but finally had to call front desk and complain. Desk clerk said she would take care of it and after a few minutes the noise stopped. Didn’t get back to sleep until after midnight.
Ff1trillionAlthough the hotel is still quite new, the rooms already show a surprising amount of wear and tear. The cleanliness is okay. The location and breakfast were good. Only real minus was the parking situation. There's one lot for two hotels and definitely too few spots for all guests to find a spot. We had to park on the side of the lot in the driveway together with three other cars when we arrived in the night.
YYJYC0402It was awesome and great. I would definitely come back here again in the future. Breakfast was fine and delicious. The staff at the front desk in the morning was very friendly and warm.
22055156386The hotel is in a very good location, you can walk to the river, and the aquarium is just across the road. There are many restaurants around, and there are many choices. The hotel is not special, it is quite standard, and the room is relatively large.
HHanyiiBooked two rooms and stayed for one night with the family. The inn is located near the interstate and overlooked the mountain. Breakfast was very simple—pancakes, coffee, cereals. The pancake was very good. The rooms were clean in general but had a scent of an old room. Staff was friendly and checked in / out was fast. Breakfast could be better but overall it was good.
MmissdeechubbVery nice room they worked with us on getting a bigger room and anything we needed they handle it very quickly and efficiently I have enjoyed My stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody traveling with kids or just simply on vacation
MmissdeechubbVery clean rooms nice staff wonderful place to stay and it feels like home I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody traveling with kids or just simply on vacation.
GGuest UserWould have given them 5 happy faces for the swimming pool BUT it was only open from 9 a.m. til 10 p.m. We didn't get to swim because of the time limitations. 👎 I was so disappointed 😞
But and on a different subject, and more importantly, i suppose, is the bed was so very comfortable. We had a good night's sleep. Which is what is the main thing one looks for in a place to sleep. So thumbs up for the mattress!👍👍👍👍👍
Everything was clean and well maintained.
We were pleasantly surprised by the charming woodsy view from our room window! 😊👍
We loved the shower walls. So much so we may decorate our home shower with it.💖😉
MMary HightowerWe visited for valentine's weekend, was able to checkin at 2pm. Room clean and nice. Shower was amazing and clean. Only complaint is that we could have used 4 pillows instead of 3.
GGuest UserI was there for only one night, and the housekeeping staff started banging on my door early in the morning, waking me up to ask if I wanted my room cleaned. I was very annoyed, because I needed as much sleep as possible for my long road trip. Why on earth would anyone think I needed my room cleaned for a one-night stay? It felt like they were checking to make sure I did not oversleep or accidentally overstay, which was completely unnecessary and extremely frustrating.
