It was very nice. It was a pity that many swimming pools were closed.

Every year on National holiday we love going to this hotel. Very suitable for family vacation, rooms are huge and clean. Staff are super friendly. Mr. Sean checked us in, he was super welcoming and professional. It was our daughter’s birthday so the hotel gave us TWO birthday cakes for free when we requested for a chocolate cake. Thank you so much for your great hospitality. We had a great stay as always. Highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling with kids. There is a play area for kids at their restaurant too. Breakfast buffet is great, different varieties of yummy food. Their dinner buffet is also great. A lot of seafood etc. Highly recommend

Great place to stay, there are many things and activities to do, would recommend.

This is a fantastic hotel in general. The staffs there are very hospitable and amiable, especially Sean at the lobby. He gave us some very practical tips about foods and what to do at the global mall areas. What is unlucky is that it happened to have a electronic musical festival going on there at the water park. They have those heavy metal music going on and on until 10 pm. If you have kids with you I would suggest to avoid the music festival! But the hotel itself is very comfortable.

We had a pleasant stay. The hotel restaurant downstairs is very used locally and not only by the hotel, so it is full of life and a vast amount of choices in a buffet style. Furthermore it has a playground for the kids. The free shuttle is like a whale which is fun for the kids, and it stop by the shopping centre, also with a area for kids.

We really enjoyed our time while we stayed at Global Center Intercontinental Hotel Chengdu! All the staff here are super friendly and helpful! The room is clean and comfortable. This is definitely a kids friendly hotel (except the smoking). We loved their hot spring pool!

Went here for an unplanned staycation when my children were driving me mad at home. Very child friendly and the employees are lovely. It’s not the kind of place to come if you don’t like children, noise or a bit of wear and tear. The water park next door is really noisy but at least it drowns out the sound of your own children bickering (no pun intended). Bit of a hiccup with room service but they were very good about it, alls well that ends well, and anyway it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the pool is open to 10pm and the water park across the way stopped pumping out loud music at 7.30 so we had a lovely evening swim. Same went for the morning we got in the pool at 9am and it was still fairly quiet until we got out at 11.30am. Room service food was fine, I don’t think especially pricey for a hotel of this kind and frankly there is nothing to stop you going to the global centre for something else if you’d rather. Pool is nice and saves you from entering the absolute bedlam of the waterpark next door (I went once before, never again, not for the faint of heart). Breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice. Before we left I put my bags in left luggage and went to the Global Centre where I bought makeup and we all had macdonalds and left happy. Overall we had a fun time. I then forgot something I’d left in the room, called slightly panicky, they located it and called me back within minutes. Really impressed. One slight annoyance was that I couldn’t find a machine that would rent me a phone charger pack, unlike others I’ve used in Chengdu both machines I found claimed they could only rent to Chinese nationals. Overall though I’d definitely go back again for a change of scene and a hotel where children are welcome.

Location was fantastic, right next to a huge mall

We were quite happy with the Intercontinental. Very clean and very nice room. We will definitely recommend to others.
