Popular Chongqing 4-star Hotels

A little difficulty in finding the entrance to this hotel as there is no signboard with the hotel name on the outside. No restaurants in the hotel but food is not a problem as there are many food stalls and restaurants along the streets downstairs. Transportation is convenient as subway station is a short walk away and there are taxis outside. Room is big and value for money.

We are a pair of 70 year old couple travelling solo. This place is located centrally and it is easy to walk and travel around the Chong qing City from here.The place is really comfortable and smack of chinese tradtion and culture. The view of the river each night is stunning and you are a part of Hongyadong light up each night. I woke up thrice very early around 4am and went to the reception to ask about how to get around to different sights. On 5th and 6th Sep morning, the receptionist was utterly sweet and patient with this old lady, giving very careful and detailed information with explanations to help me. Thsnk you once again dear sweet recetionist. I am sorry u do not know your nsme. Hence the dates. Unfortunately on the morning of 7th Sep i encountered a rude shock of a receptionist who expressed rude mannerism on being awakened just before 5 am, reluctant to help, trying to push me off by pushing a tiny pamphlet that she said was self explanatory about diections for various sights. I declined saying i could not read chinese. Thereafter, it wa either, its difficult to get there or you could get there in a cab!

Cool hotel in a great location, decor is a little tired and the restaurant looked closed not sure if it is due to being a quiet time. Staff couldn’t speak English but it wasn’t an issue, pool was lovely and cool with a great view. Bedroom was clean and comfortable.

This is our 2nd time using this hotel. The housekeeping staff is courteous & efficient. The same counter staff Xiaowu is cheerful & helpful as usual. She took the trouble to inform us via WeChat that hotel will be shutting down hot water for maintenance so that we can plan our showering timing. Hotel also arranged dessert for us in the room. We are very happy with the service. The location is great for food & shopping. Easy access to rail stations.

The price was too low and I was very skeptical. I trusted the other good reviews and was not disappointed. The location is excellent. The room was clean. Most impressive is the front desk service. I had a full time concierge via wechat. I asked for travel advice and local locations. The staff even helped book a driver for my day trip to Wulong. I asked for water before arriving back at the room and it was delivered when I reached. The elevator may get a little busy but nothing disruptive. Chongqing is quite a unque, must-visit mountain city.

Excellent and clean stay! The staff were very accommodating and responsive to our request, and staff support was readily available when we needed help, shout out to 夏木 especially! There was an issue with the washing machine and the hotel organised a technical crew to resolve it within an hour. My full appreciation to the hotel and crew. The location is great too, around 5-10mins walk from the city centre and the metro station.

This hotel is superb & Beyond what one can describe with words. The view from the loft room is something everyone must experience. This hotel deserves more to an 5 star rating, I’d definitely come again. Thanks a lot Jing Jing. Thought she was an AI Bot, lol she got answers to everything. Yall keep it up, till we see again.

During our trip to Chong Qing, we stayed at this hotel twice. This was our second stay after a short getaway from Chongqing because of the great impression it left on us during our previous stay. This time, we stayed on the 17th floor but encountered a few minor issues. The air conditioning was unavailable due to maintenance, and one of the fridges was not working. The staff quickly offered a fan, which helped as the weather was warmer than expected. Although we would have appreciated if they told us earlier and not wait for us to find out on our own. Additionally, despite having four guests, only three sets of towels and water were provided daily, requiring reminders. That said, the staff were friendly and quick to respond on WeChat to our messages, which we appreciated. The hotel’s excellent location, close to Bayi Street with a noodle shop conveniently below, made our stay enjoyable despite the hiccups. We would still recommend it for its service and convenience.

The hotel is located on the Jiefangbei pedestrian street, only 2 minutes by foot from the main square, the metro station is close and easy accessible 🌸 The room is spacious, located on the 18th floor of the skyrise building, with lots of amenities and complimentary Chongqing snacks, which are provided everyday 🌸 Although there is no breakfast avaliable, the location of the hotel makes it very convenient for every meal option, including late night dinners since some of the restaurants and street vendors work until 2am 🌸 The hotel is suitable for first time visitors since you can reach most popular atractions by foot, such as Hongya cave and popular food streets 🌸 Highly recommend if you want your travels to be convenient and effective, either by foot or simply by taking a metro to the major locations and tourist attractions 🌸
