ITC Grand Chola, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Chennai

It’s wasn’t pleasant stay for us! We went there around 3.15pm and waited almost 45-50 minutes for check-in. There is not basic courtesy the provide any complimentary food or drink for making us wait for no reason. The reception also don’t have thought about updating us. I have to go to reception counter to get the update. After that I went to them and ask why there is not any update nor drinks provided for making us wait. They promised me that’s they will serve us at room. I also waited for some time and they never send me any complimentary drinks or food until I called and ask for it several times. After first day stayed in I received a call from reception saying my husband visa is expired and I was seriously? Did they really check them throughly? How we can even pass the immigration with expired visa? They keep asking for proof and after several conversations I asked them to come to room to check again. 2 woman duty manager came again with the same **** story about my husband visa is expired! After he showed my husband hard copy of visa only they apologised for the error! This is such miserable behaviour because they not being vigilant about their actions. The room was comfort. Credit goes t housekeeping who keep them shine ✨. I will definitely return for the room only . Their service is 0/5⭐️

Great amenities and friendly staff, rooms feel a bit old, and could be a little fresher Will stay again for the service and amenities.

It's not that great. They need lots of improvement in service and the rooms need some renovation as the wardrobes n carpets look old. it will also be better if they use some room freshener or candles with fragrance as the room doesn't have a pleasant smell. Overrall, it's not that great for a premium hotel.

Fabulous hotel, one of the nicest in the area. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

The hotel is actually getting outdated with boring interior with fading colors and stripping off hard materials, they should do something about getting rid of birds that pooping on windows and unpleasant views. Exterior obviously can see lots of cracks all over building. Fayaz the front desk guy check in dunno how to smile when welcoming customers. You are saying it’s luxury collection hotel but something you have to work on it. Otherwise competitor will take over.

Loved, this hotel, friendly staff. Huge property, variety of breakfast. Spacious rooms. The only thing lacking was a safe and a fridge.
