Most of the hardware facilities are good, but the trash cans in the room and toilet are too small. The overall atmosphere is great, clean and comfortable. Breakfast tastes good too. The pool is also great. The free bicycle rental service is also very good, but it is recommended to pay more attention to the brake problem. The brakes of some bicycles feel a bit loose. The location is very good, quiet and quiet. The only thing that made us uncomfortable was the attitude of the staff. I had paid all the housing payments online in advance, but I was asked to pay an additional deposit of 2,000 baht on site, which shocked us. I have stayed in so many hotels and I have never been asked to pay a deposit. Although the staff was still very polite, what we felt was insincerity and even a bit contemptuous. The staff said they were afraid that we would damage the facilities in the room, so they needed to pay a security deposit, which would be returned to us after we checked out. We still gave us 2,000 yuan, but it caused us inconvenience because we had to go directly to the airport to leave Thailand after checking out, so returning us 2,000 yuan in cash after checking out was very troublesome for us and took up time on our trip. in budget. So the next day we told the staff that please return the cash to us. We can temporarily swipe the card instead. However, when we checked out on the last day, they said that we could not swipe the money back. We need to withhold the two thousand yuan and wait for 14 days. If there is no problem It will be brushed back. We don’t understand again here. If cash can be refunded immediately, why do you have to wait 14 days to swipe a card? We understand that tourists from a certain country may have caused losses to the hotel, which led to your reaction, but it is really uncomfortable for us to face the guests with a suspicious or even contemptuous attitude. Although the staff was very polite and tried their best when explaining Keep smiling, but we can feel the insincerity and discrimination underneath the smile.

Wow… where do I even begin. Firstly the hotel exteriors are beautiful. The pool is serene, the designs are lovely and traditional Thai style. The rooms are spacious with a large bed. Very quiet and great sleep even though we were jet lagged. Breakfast is superb, lots of choices even for vegetarians and vegans like us. The location is superb, less than 10 minutes from the airport, right by the old city, walking distance to a couple of night markets. The best part of our stay was the Loy Krathong festivities. We were lucky to be there during the period this year. In the morning the hotel would provide free Krathong making activities with delicious Thai snacks and desserts and in the evening provided food, music, the lucky draw, lantern decorations, and all the Loy Krathong activities. Where we felt the service went above and beyond was during this evening party. We had come to Chiang mai to see our Thai side of our family including our 90 year old grandma who is in a wheelchair. She’s been sick for a while. She as well as our two other family members were allowed to participate and eat and dance for free of charge even though they didn’t have to do that. Furthermore the staff made sure that she had a great time - we haven’t seen yai (Thai word for grandma) this happy in so long especially since she got sick. She was dancing and smiling in the wheelchair! The lady who MC’d as well as the security guard went above and beyond. And all the staff there (there were tens of them!) even waved in a line as her car left. The other members of the family said that we must come back here next year for Loy Krathong so that’s what we will do. Thank you again to all the staff. You made the stay very special, made my family feel emotional.

So we are still at this beautiful hotel for another few days, what a fabulous stay! It's the little things that make a stay perfect right? Here at Phor Liang Meun Hotel you are greeted with such friendly and helpful staff everytime you walk through the grounds. These beautiful people just could not do enough to support our stay. The hotel itself, lovely! Clean, well provided for, beautiful surrounds, lush Thai sites at every head turn. The rooms are so comfortable and the pool area so relaxing. Breakfast is included I our room and the tray is amazing...tip: don't order too much as is plenty there to fill you up all day! There is a vibe of kindness and hospitality here that offers its guests a peace of mind. Fantastic little family style hotel in the old city. Lovely building and nice spacious and impeccably clean rooms. The location can’t be beat, moments from the Chiang Mai Gate, markets, nice restaurants, 7Eleven, and easy walking distance to all the old town holds. Most of all the staff and the owner are a delight, always ready for a chat, full of useful advice, and they really treat you like family. Also very LGBTQIA + friendly. Highly recommend. 10/10 would come back and enthusiastically recommend to all!

The hotel is close to Chiang Mai Gate, about one kilometer away from the center of the ancient city. The biggest drawback is that it is too noisy. Nearby is a local food market. There are motorcycles at three or four in the morning, and there will be more late at night. It’s not that I’m too tired during the day, I can’t fall asleep at night, and the price is not high. The same price can basically live in Chala No. 6, which is one or two hundred expensive. Breakfast is average. Ctrip said that there is free hotel shuttle service, but when I went to the hotel, I called the hotel several times and no one answered it. Then I finally got through and said no. When I came back, I asked the hotel and said that I could call a taxi for 200 baht. It is not recommended for the elderly or those with poor sleep

The reception of the hotel is very enthusiastic, with most Chinese tourists. The room is large and has a kitchen. The front desk also upgraded us to suites. Thank you very much~ It was only a few minutes walk from the Erawan Buddha, and there are large shopping malls and supermarkets around which are very convenient~

Similar to youth hostels, they are all foreigners. The weather in Chiang Mai is so good that the water temperature in the swimming pool is relatively low. The proprietress’s English is very good. You must take off your shoes when you enter the hotel’s front desk, but if you want to stay with friends, bring a clean pair. The slippers are better. The location is in the alley near the ancient city. After exiting the alley, snacks are sold on both sides of the river. It is also close to Thapae Gate. It is recommended that friends who live here can go to Thapae Gate to play, we The four-bed room booked by four girls is sold for one bed. Generally speaking, it is better than ordinary youth hostels. There is a clean bar at the entrance of the alley. The environment is good, but the taste is a bit salty. There is no mistake, there is salt in the wine, I am too southern.

The price offering is really great. But you get what you pay - the managers are probably also the owners, do not look like they are in this business. I have never seen someone at the frontdesk. It might be difficult to communicate if anything comes up. The hotel is almost brand new though.
