There is this new skinny staff guy who runs his mouth like a uncontrollable motor who makes out of line comments, treats guests inappropriately, and makes your stay a complete hell on earth. You can kiss professionalism out the door. New skinny guy large eyed wearing West Virginia US LOGO shirts will try joking with you inappropriately taking things too far like pouring the whole jar of coffee into your mug after asking you whether you want strong coffee and if you reply with a yes he’ll attempt to pour the whole batch of coffee into yours. This skinny guy asked me whether I had sex at a sex massage shop on a daily basis by slapping his hands together making that *********** slap sound. Was given extra slices of bread free of charge for a week but when the skinny guy staff was working one morning he’d yell, “YOU WANT MORE TOAST YOU PAY 20 BHAT MORE!” Thought he was joking but he meant it so I was really surprised and just left it alone. Afterwards he’d come sit next to me and ask me, “YOU ANGRY ME HUH?!” Incessantly. Very inappropriate. All the free bicycle rentals broke down all the time. No dedicated freezer fridge for guests. No modern water dispenser. No access to hot water. No microwave. They will lose pieces of your laundry! I parked the rental bicycle next to my room for 5 minutes because I had to change real quick and the new skinny guy would demand that I move it. I told him I would be going in 5 minutes but he insisted that I couldn’t park it there. I wasn’t blocking anything. Housekeeping cleaned rarely. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. If you want to be micromanaged with your every move, joked around inappropriately, live in a pigsty, and sleep in dirty uncomfortable sheets and blankets, stay here!

This is a nice place but the bathroom and the desk had not been cleaned when I arrived. (There were fake eyelashes left from the person before). The bed was clean tho. It is nice as it has a bit more nature around. I thought it was a little insensitive that they did not give me any sort of refund when I had to check out 4 days early due to being called to the local hospital for surgery.

Overall a great stay at Chiang Mai. The property is in a quiet and laid back area, within walking distance to nice places for food , entertainment and to get massages as the health land centre for instance. Also I recommend talking with the owner to arrange trips , especially to Doi inthanon ;) Thanks!

Not in city centre but convenient enough to commute. Due to its location, you get bigger space and less street noise than the hostels in the city.
