Akyra Manor Chiang Mai

Nimmanhaemin Road Area Chiang Mai|1.62km from Tops Supermarket
We enjoyed our three night stay at the hotel over the New Years holiday. The staff at check-in was friendly as expected in Thailand. The hotel lobby furniture was slightly oversized for its space as we had to walk around it to get to the elevator. Our room was comfortable and large enough for our two moderately sized suite cases. We booked a room with breakfast, which was one of the best we have had at a hotel. We each got to order a couple dishes off the menu, which were excellently presented and tasted excellent. Additionally, there was a buffet with pastries, fruits, etc. Unfortunately, due to our early schedule two of the days we could not get the hot breakfast. On our last morning they provided a packed breakfast, which was a sandwich and other less memorable food. The hot breakfast was the most memorable thing for us about the hotel. I did also like the room design. In terms of hotel location, it is fairly central with shopping malls and restaurants a 5 – 10 minute walk away. We found traffic to be really slow around New Years with lots of Thais. This was my second time to Chiang Mai with my first trip in July over a decade ago. During both trips we had a friend who lives in Chiang Mai drive us around. I would say traffic during our first trip was not memorable, unlike at New Years. This made getting to the hotel from the main street slow and it may be better to pickup taxi/grab/ride on a main street. It may also be worth checking out when busy times are in Chiang Mai to have a more enjoyable trip.

POR Santitham

Area north of the old city Chiang Mai|0.25km from Tops Supermarket
Chiang Mai has many approachable design hotels, common characteristics are a little distance from the downtown area, low prices, minimal design and compact swimming pool. This time, students introduced staying POR santitham for a week, you can share in-depth insights. When I first arrived, I saw the size of it. I was worried that there was no elevator to take it. Fortunately, I was worried about it. /Check-in/ Counter staff usually only go to work until 11 o'clock. If the flight arrives too late, it may not be possible to check in. But I can see the counter staff talking to the guests at midnight all week, so if the flight arrives late, try asking them to wait. My room type is marked as a suite on Agoda, which is actually 36 square meters, but it has been cleverly designed to be a room with a porch, a bathroom, dry and wet separation and so on. The bathtub is very wide, if two people sit together, you can also soak in smoothly. The trees deliberately planted outside the floor-to-ceiling window (I am on the fourth floor), making the window view more poetic. The other highlight of the room is that the TV is large and 4K resolution. The bed is good to sleep, and the pillow is strong enough. The only downside is that the sound insulation is not good. I have been playing music in the room these days. I didn’t know how noisy I was until I checked out and went back to my room to hear the music. I was so embarrassed. /Meals/< Breakfast > Breakfast item is probably the size of the executive lounge of the high-end hotel, although the sparrow is small and complete. Hot food will be changed randomly, and lettuce, bread, fried eggs and sausage groups are fixed. Breakfast may not be rich, but it can be full of nutrients, with the poolside leisurely scenery dining, Chiang Mai's slow atmosphere in the early morning. /Hotel facilities/< Pool, Sodality Room, Laundry > The pool will have staff fishing leaves every morning. The pool water is filtered and filtered every time. The water quality can be at ease. The sodality room is set on the first, second and third floors, and the semi-open space is refreshing. The cookie jar on the first floor table was delicious. The amount I've eaten these days is about a whole jar (I really got pigs from Chiang Mai). The laundry room has two Samsung washing machines and two Samsung dryers. Laundry and drying are completely free and definitely a gospel for long-term travelers (there is no need to bring too much clothes). The only small downside is that the laundry detergent tastes very old and everyone really has to take their own. /Heart/ I have an indescribable love for this hotel, the main reason is that the price is cheap, such a room only needs to be in the early 1,300s a day, and includes breakfast. Of course, it also has its own small shortcomings, such as the air-conditioning outlet of my room, no matter how adjusted, it will definitely push people to blow. The water flow in the bathroom is weak. If you want to take a bath, you must prepare it half an hour early. But the winter temperature in Chiang Mai is pleasant, in fact, it is very comfortable to not need to open air conditioning indoors (18 degrees at night); here is slow to work, the bath water slowly, just listen to the sound of water to think about life, also very comfortable. The above shortcomings can indeed be translated into advantages of living in Chiang Mai. It is highly recommended that everyone go to Chiang Mai to play, you can focus on this kind of design hotel, compared to chain hotels, living in this hotel will be more in Chiang Mai Le Live! #porsantitham #chiangmai #chiangmaihotel

It's an excellent hotel. Both in service and upgrading the room to a large, comfortable family room with a cute reading corner. TV corner, Netflix service, excellent customer care Warm welcome from the staff The place to sleep is comfortable, quiet, no noise. Excellent clean It is recommended to stay here for the whole family, as a couple, or if you want a backpacker atmosphere, you will have more friends. Breakfast and shared kitchen are available for backpacker for single and family rooms. There is a private kitchen and a private bathroom in the room. Comfortable, the place walks out to find food, restaurants, markets. Near the bar, near the mall, near the temple. Highly recommended here.
Tolani Northgate Villa Chiang Mai

There are two buildings in the villa. On the second floor of the main building are two double-bed rooms and one standard room. Downstairs is the living room, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The second floor of another building has two rooms, one is a suite, and the other has three beds. The whole villa is very large and can accommodate many people. For breakfast, we bought the ingredients ourselves and ate it in the garden. The villa also provided milk juice and various spices. The butler was also very caring. We also booked a BBQ the next day, one thousand baht per person. It was very hearty and tasted great. This stay was really great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at ISTY. It's set in a neighborhood that felt safe to walk around in (though beware that there are no sidewalks in most of Chiang Mai so you have to be careful), and we really enjoyed nearby food stalls each evening as well as a full night market by the north gate. (By the way, there's vegetarian food at the far east side. And there are a couple of vegetarian eateries within walking distance, though I think only during lunch.) The rooms are basic (think shelves but not dressers) but clean and comfortable; beds are Thai style so firm. The co-working/meal area is fabulous, as is the rooftop bar; we spent a lot of time in the outdoor co-working/pool area but either wore long clothes or sprayed against mosquitoes (there were just a few, and an herbal rather than Deet spray was sufficient). The pool is gorgeous but shaded and on the cold side so we mainly looked at it haha. It was getting smoky as February went on (thank goodness for a couple fluke rainstorms that cleared the air for a few days), and there didn't seem to be much air filtration so our eyes were stinging even in our room--but I think that's true elsewhere throughout the region too.

The room was very good, clean, peaceful, and the bathroom was the best. The bedroom view can see Doi Suthep in the distance. The location is good. The owner is very kind, takes care of him, and gives great personal attention to the customers.
