Hotels Near Cișmeaua „General Georgescu P. Ion” in Chisinau

I booked this hotel for 7 nights and while being there, my trip was shortened by 1 day. My assistant asked if we could shorten the stay with one day and if this would be charged. The hotel manager answered ”We confirm to cancel the last night and it will not cost for this change.” So, I supposed that the last night was not charged. And indeed, the hotel bill was lowered from 18.900 MDL to 16.200 MDL. However, the credit card amount, converted in Euro was equivalent to 18.900 MDL. When asking to correct this, the hotel manager stated that they do charge for the last night because it was a non-refundable rate but they did not charge anything for changing from 7 to 6 nights. (???? non-refundable OK but never experienced a hotel charging for shortening a stay, this was a nonsense argument !!!) In essence, the hotel manager just thought that we would not check what was really charged to the credit card. Hotel Manager: ... do not take people for stupid ... sorry, you just lost one client, ... and I guess others who go through the reviews!

Good location and good service

The service was nice, the duty administrator answered all questions politely and correctly. They went to the room, told everything and showed. Also quickly in the morning took the number when expelled.

My wife stayed alone at this hotel between the end of July and the beginning of August last, for an ”unplanned stop” due to a missed connection between two different travel operators. The hotel in question has competitive prices, especially considering its location in the city center, but the rooms are not all well kept. The more expensive suites are definitely better, which I recommend for occasional guests, also due to the decidedly cleaner bathrooms and more modern internal layout and furnishings. The TVs in the rooms work poorly, but probably only because they are necessarily tuned to Russian broadcasters. Taking this into account, the wi-fi still works wonderfully, and you can easily make up for the lack of TV with a feast of internet multimedia content. My stay at the hotel : No elevator , no toiletries , no napkins , no water . Good thing next to it , go and buy .Everything on the site says that is included in the cost , and not in the living.The only plus is pure . In the bed room , the mattress is terrible , all in springs , it is impossible to lie . On the respiratory girl Yulia , not welcoming , not even greeting and this staff member is respiratory ? ! It's as if she came home to her. The appearance is not fit for the hotel , not presentative , not even a badge of name (and I am 4 stars for a minute)It doesn't even sit in its workplace , it is always not on the respiratory.I want to pay attention to the hotel management , Whom they take to work .And so you can stay without customers .I do not recommend anyone for such money ,stay in this hotel .

i shall start with the positives , staff are super friendly , breakfast is great with good variety , parking is available , room space is convenient , what i didnt like , major hotel toiletries were not available , thin walls is a big problem in this hotel , you can literally here your neighbors next door , for light sleepers like myself is not easy to get a good night sleep , finally the location is far enough from the city center , although its closer to the airport and the Malldova ( if u re into shopping )

Good place for the money they charge. Employees were super friendly. Hotel is perfect if you need to stay a day or so until you continue your trip. 10 minutes drive from North Bus Station and 25 from the airport. Receptionist Elena made me a box with my breakfast, which was so nice)

Stayed a total of 8 (5+3) nights - this was my base for exploring Moldova. Located a short walk from the main railway station, many shops and restaurants, and a longer walk from the main city sights. Secluded and quiet location. Very spacious rooms. Amenities included refrigerator and electric kettle. Sufficient number of electric outlets. Comfortable bed and pillows. Well lit desk areas. Bathroom with everything in working order in the first room, slow draining shower in the second room. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. As for the negatives, both rooms were on the top floor and had sloped ceilings and sky lights. Especially in the second room, the sloped ceiling came down very low especially near the table area, and I hit my head a couple of times. The sky lights make using an eye mask essential if you don't want to wake up very early. Both rooms had big metal saddles between the room and the bathroom, which can cause tripping, especially at night. Good wifi. Pleasant, helpful staff. Overall a very good value.

Cosy, small hotel with a homely atmosphere. Friendly, sociable staff. Everything is great. The city center is a 20 minute drive. There is a stop nearby. Shops are not far. The airport is less than 29 km away.
