Gregory is my new favourite hotel in Chisinau In the past, I have normally stayed at the Radisson Blu but I much prefer the reletive peace and quiet of this hotel instead of the larger high-end places. Also, if you compare room costs, you will see what very good value The Gregory Hotel offers guests. Location - about as central as you can get at 3 short blocks from the Stephen the Great monument on a relatively quiet side street. The neighbourhood is populated by many of the national museums and foreign embassies, bars, shops, and restaurants. All you need is within a short walk including plenty of bank ATMs Breakfast - Continental with a Moldovan twist, plenty of choice, good coffee, no complaints, and a pleasant, cosy dining area to enjoy it in. Rooms - On both occasions I have stayed in Room 607 which had a city view balcony and separate bedroom/ living room seating space. The bathroom was really nicely equipped and lit. Under-floor heating a welcome feature. The king-size bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Bed linen was clean, and fresh, and the room in general was fitted out to the standard you would expect from a hotel of this quality Do consider Gregory Hotel as an option if you are looking for something to tick all the right boxes

The rooms: The rooms are furnished in the Communist Soviet style, but still do not leave any wishes open. Air conditioning, WIFI, Minibar & TV are standard in all rooms. Also, the rooms have heated towels and dressing boxes with a lamp that lights the dressing box when opening.

The hotel rooms were lovely - modern, clean and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I love the comfortable chair for relaxing in. The room came with a very well stocked mini bar, unlike a lot of hotels these days. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The buffet breakfast compares to the best I have seen around the world and should satisfy most expectations. The Lotus Spa is well worth a visit - the masseuse are both exceptional and are highly recommended at the end of the day for a relaxing massage. The New York bar is lovely to relax in and it also has the advantage of an outdoor seating area for when the weather is warm. There is a ****** adjoining the hotel with an entrance fee of $100 that you get back in chips.

It was my first time in Moldova. Any member of staff I came into contact with, either on the front desk, or in the bar/restaurant spoke very good English. The staff on the reception were particularly helpful. They were happy to help with a late check out as I'd a late flight and also with ordering a taxi to the airport. The room was spacious. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed. Coffee machine and a kettle in the room. Minibar is well stocked with snacks if you don't want to walk to the shops (although there are shops within walking distance of the hotel). Handy location for the train station. It's within walking distance if you get the overnight train from Bucharest. City centre a bit of a walk, but not too far. About 20 minutes walk to the Triumphal Arch. About 30 minutes walk to the Museum of Ethnography & Natural History. Overall, one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in. The reception staff in particular are brilliant. Nothing is any trouble for them and I'd gladly stay again.

While I was expecting a basic boutique hotel for the price we paid, this place surprised us completely. Everything from the fittings and amenities in the room to the decor was top-notch. I certainly didnt expect a highly wired room with an Android TV-powered smart tv and 300 Mbps blazing internet connectivity! And the hospitality also was on par with higher-end hotels and not like a basic boutique LOCATION: Good location close to all points of interest in the city center DINE + DRINK: They have a lovely wine bar and the breakfast was worth waking up for too. ROOM: We stayed in Room 305, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random view of the cityscape; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Lovely spa quality cosmetics FACILITIES: Super compact Gym with an Old school free weights and an elliptical machine. Ok for diehard fitness *******, not motivating enough for the rest probably! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free super high-speed Wi-Fi (300 Mbps!) that works well all over the property. We stayed in the B&B for naught when we arrived in Chisinau. The location is within walking distance (10min) to the Main Street. As it in a residential neighbourhood we weren’t bothered by the traffic that goes through the city which I really appreciated. The staff at the reception spoke good English and kind. Checking in before check in time was possible for us without any problems as the room was prepared already. The room itself was clean, fairly spacious, looked nice and welcoming. Coffee and tea are available in the room. The only issue that I saw was that we could hear our neighbours speaking on one side though the room was supposed to be soundproof. TV and fridge were available. Breakfast included a continental style breakfast with fruits, yogurt, eggs and sausages. There was also some pastry. Coffee was freshly made and served. It’s a pretty nice place to stay in if you explore Chisinau as the city can be busy. So it’s good to have a calm retreat.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, but close to the center of Kishinev (10-12 minutes walk). Nearby are the German and US embassies. But it is bribes, first of all, the atmosphere of the hotel itself. The breakfast time was agreed with us every day as the time of departure for the tour changed. On TV you can watch several channels in Russian not only Russian but local too. We spent 4 nights in it and every breakfast did not repeat the previous ones. So the 4-day magnificent, most interesting stay in Moldova was complemented and reinforced by the impression of this hotel

i shall start with the positives , staff are super friendly , breakfast is great with good variety , parking is available , room space is convenient , what i didnt like , major hotel toiletries were not available , thin walls is a big problem in this hotel , you can literally here your neighbors next door , for light sleepers like myself is not easy to get a good night sleep , finally the location is far enough from the city center , although its closer to the airport and the Malldova ( if u re into shopping )

After coming by night bus from Kew to Xinau, I tried to check in in the morning and passed it smoothly. The interior is old, but the location is in the center of the city, and the twin bed is about 7400 yen, so I think the cospa is good. The minus points are that Wi-Fi is weak and there were no detailed amenities.
