Not bad. Quiet and relaxing. I wish I could stay there longer.

They provide shuttle from the JR Chitose at 2pm, The room with TV room is absolutely recommended!! The onsen inside room is very big and super comfortable! The room is chill and the dinner and breakfast are good too! Service is acceptable but not remarkable.

Superb experience with family, cozy stay with sweet services from beginning till end of the stay. Great food at dinners and breakfast. Great view. We took it as a real relaxing retreat! Will def recommend to friends to enjoy.

High-end hot spring hotel, next to Zhiqian Lake. The room is a bit old. The hot spring water temperature in the room is slightly low. The food is up to standard.

Avoid it, because it was already past nine in the evening when we arrived at the hotel. I stayed in a room with a private bath in Japan before. The private bath must be hot and you can take a bath in the room. But when I checked in, the water in the private bath was ice cold. However, the staff was very nice and apologized to us at the time. They immediately started to heat the water. I also asked if the water was clean. He said it was clean. As a result, I went in to take a bath and felt that the bottom was full of sand. I felt that the water was not clean, so I hurried out after a short bath. The next morning, I drained all the water, and it turned out to be full of sand. It was very dirty and disgusting. The window of our room was the parking lot, with no view. Compared with the Japanese hot spring hotels I stayed in before, the breakfast was also very ordinary, see Figure 4, and the attitude of the breakfast staff was very bad. They arranged two seats for us at the entrance. We went to eat breakfast very early. There were only two or three tables of people inside. Seeing that there were many seats, we wanted to change to a window seat a little inside. The person pointed at the seat at the door that was originally arranged and said, please sit here... Anyway, avoid it.

It's a very high-end hotel, very close to Lake Shikotsu, but you can't see the lake directly from the room because it's blocked by cherry blossom trees, so it may be difficult to book a room during the cherry blossom season. The public bathhouse has hot and cold pools, and there are popsicles to eat after bathing in the hot springs. They are all free. I booked a room with two meals. Dinner and breakfast were very traditional Japanese meals. The portions were not large and the taste was a bit unfamiliar. There is a public lounge on the second floor, where you can make tea and sit by the window to watch the scenery. The environment is quiet and it is very pleasant to walk to the lake. I happened to encounter three wild deer passing by, which shows that it is a very natural place. In the summer, you can take part in lake tours and canoeing. I also saw people doing bird watching activities, and you may have to make a reservation in advance to participate.

All aspects are great. Especially the public space on the 2nd floor, which is comfortable and warm with a great view. It is worth it.

Shikotsuko Suishantei is the best hot spring hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was wonderful from the moment I checked in. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. His English was excellent. There was no communication problem at all, even for tourists who don’t speak Japanese. You can enjoy it with peace of mind. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the reception hall offer a panoramic view of Lake Shikotsu. The room I stayed in is an 80-square-meter open-air private bath with garden view. The space is very large. The TV can watch Netflix and Disney plus, there is a small wooden bathtub in the bathroom, not to mention the open-air bath outside. The melted snow, a little lake view, and the large private hot spring pool are the most beautiful enjoyment in life. The meals, every ingredient They are all very fresh and ingenious. The dishes are rich and small but will definitely make you very, very full! Cuishanting is definitely a place I will visit again!

I stayed for one night and they picked me up and dropped me off at JR Chitose Station. The staff's friendliness was so kind that I felt it was excessive, and they explained everything well. The hot spring water is clean and smooth, but since it is a wooden bathtub, it is subject to wear and tear. It was an unavoidable part, and taking that into account, it was clean overall. Personally, the breakfast was more delicious than the kaiseki dinner. It was pretty to take a walk by the lake in the morning when the sunset was setting. It was a good place to take pictures while wearing a yukata.

The hotel is by the lake and has a nice environment. There is a shuttle bus from JR Chitose Station to the hotel every day. You can make a reservation by email in advance. The private bath in the room is very good, but the meal plan for two meals per stay is average and needs to be improved.

There are very few parking lots in the area, and it is right in front of the hotel. It is very convenient. It is even better on snowy days. The room is large, with two living rooms and a terrace bath.
