I brought my children to Chongqing to take the exam and stayed here for convenience for shopping and eating. The hotel upgraded me to a river view room because I found a suitcase in the room and immediately informed the room service. The hotel manager on duty called and apologized all the time. In the end, he waived the extra bed fee and gave us three free breakfasts. This made me quite embarrassed. It was just a small thing and it didn't affect my stay experience. The service is really great, great! Next time I come to Chongqing, I will choose Westin!

The room and the location are great - very central, clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and attentive. If you want to be right in the heart of Chongqing, this is the place. Unfortunately they lose some marks for smokiness. The floor was non-smoking and there are signs in the bedroom telling you that you’ll be fined if you smoke indoors, but our bathroom stank of smoke for our whole stay. We assume another guest nearby was smoking in their bathroom and the smell came through the air vent, but it made our room very smelly. I think this is a bigger problem in Chongqing - people are smoking everywhere and the older guys don’t seem to be interested in respecting non smoking areas. Hardly the fault of the hotel, but it did make the room much less pleasant.

Just outside Line 1, it is very convenient for eating and shopping. Opposite is Raffles City, and you can reach the riverside through the mall. The rooms are fully equipped, the mini bar is free, and the lobby bar can take a panoramic view of Raffles City. Gold card members are given welcome drink coupons every time. They were given a welcome drink coupon the last time they checked in. This is the only time I have not received a drink coupon when I stayed at any hotel under the InterContinental umbrella. In addition, the Spring Festival is so popular that I don’t even want to add an extra quilt. The front desk I called the room and it rang three times and I ran over to pick it up and then hung up.

I booked a river view suite 61st floor It had a amazing view 2 full sides of windows best view from any hotel of my life And 4 semi opening windows we could see for miles (smog allowing) We had a soft but very comfortable bed (Some chinese beds are very hard this was more European) Clean fresh white linen and towels Access via lifts was speedy and reception was helpful There was some detractions Like the USB sockets next to the bed where non functioning The bathroom downlight was candel level of brightness Even with a lit mirror made shaving nearly impossible I'm guessing the room is a few years old and could do with some touch-ups The windows could be cleaned more often from the inside with attachments However overall it was a great experience and we slept well and really enjoyed the unique experience and central perfect location and would recommend to friends looking to stay in chongquin

The location of the Magnolia Hotel is very good. It’s close to the subway and it’s very easy to find it. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Everyone of the hotel staff is very enthusiastic and good service. I have also stayed in this brand hotel in Yangzhou. I still have a good stay in Chongqing. The internal environment of the hotel is very good. The room is large and the facilities are full. The Yangtze River ropeway is indeed queued for two hours. It is recommended to buy tickets in advance on WeChat, but it is worth a visit. The hotel is about 100 meters away from the ropeway north station. Memories

Basically not commenting, but this hotel really exceeded my expectations. I chose this one for a long time. I just want to experience the high-altitude night view of Chongqing. No doubt the view from the room is amazing but the amenities within the hotel room could be improved. Personally, i think that the height of the basin from the bathroom was build too low to use comfortably. Water shower is either too cold or too hot, even if you manage to adjust it to how you like it, the temperature could not sustain. Apart from that, the staff from the front desk is friendly and helpful. The hotel even provide free use of laundry room 24/7. However, do note that it is difficult to find a spot within the room to hang dry the clothes. The room is big but there isn't much wardrobe space available. The bathroom do have hanging line but the moisture is unable to dissipate as it doesn't have a ventilator, causing the clothes to smell. I would consider this hotel for short stay. At least it is clean. This is the first hotel I've been to that ever provide bathroom slippers for their guest. Extra bottled water when asked. Cigarette smell free if that is an important factor for you like it is for me.

What a great stay! If you like boutique-hotels and want to get a real “China-experience”, come here. It’s not a Ritz-Carlton or a sterile five-star hotel of another chain. This hotel is on top of a normal living building instead, with two nice and shady/sunny terraces (depends on time). What I liked most was the comfortable bedding. I slept very well here. We also had a balcony with nice view. I missed a proper desk for working, but on request this was also solved. The service was awesome. Wi-Fi was working properly as well and enough power-plugs in the room. Clean & tidy also as expected of course. Since it’s a small one-floor-hotel, no breakfast will be served. But in comparison to other hotels, this will be although my first choice, if I ever come back to Chongqing.

I chose this hotel just for this bathtub. It's nice to take a bath. The hotel is clean and well equipped. The TV is from Xiaomi, just like my home. After visiting Chongqing, it’s great to watch TV while lying on the bed. The hotel address is right next to Xiaoshimen Subway Station. There are many surrounding attractions and convenient transportation. There are also quite a few convenience stores. The nearest 24-hour convenience store is Lawson, which is convenient for buying something to drink at night. There is a barbecue stall opposite the hotel. When I went to the convenience store to buy things, I saw the hotel security guard going out to buy barbecue in the middle of the night.
