The service attitude of the staff is full whether it is the front desk or the cleaning. The room is OK. Personally pay more attention to the bed and itchy to sleep. The toilet is good or not, and it is all passed. Parking space is enough for self-driving tour. There is also 1 charging position. There is a gas station about 500 meters away, so there is no problem with trams and oil trucks driving by themselves. On the roof, you can see the mountain view and get close to nature, like it! The breakfast buffet is ok, the category and taste are ok. But not what I love. The staff is too cute. I smoked without fire and sent a lighter. Hahaha... Absolutely 5 points.

I checked it specially before I went to bed. The quilt in the room had oil stains and stains. I went to bed when I came back late. I didn’t expect the room to be soundproof. I still chose a big bed room. There were people talking and walking everywhere during the night. The experience was very poor.

The quiet room is too small, change to a big room and get to the road, noisy to death, if the squat is back to sleep, the night is still relatively quiet, like I stayed in the hotel for a long time, I must not be in the room on the side of the road, the front desk service is very good, parking is also convenient, it looks remote, Actually, a few minutes walk is the downtown area by the river, and it is very convenient to eat and go shopping. Standard Hilton Hampton hotel style, located next to a commercial and residential building under construction, not many food and drinks around. The room is large, clean and tidy, with new facilities and good service. The bed is a little soft but not collapsed when sleeping. The resolution of the TV is significantly improved. The breakfast is rich. The chair with wheels is uncomfortable to sit on, and I hope to change it to a chair with fixed legs in the future. The hotel has its own underground parking lot and a large ground parking lot, but there is no elevator directly to the accommodation area, so you need to unload your luggage in front of the hotel.

GGuest UserAfter experiencing the excitement of the city and the Internet celebrity feeling in Chongqing, I happened to search for Pucun! Very close to the city and the airport, Pucun made me feel why Chongqing is called a mountain city. It is really a good place to relax after the hustle and bustle! It was such a surprise. Although it was only two days and one night, the boss's design aesthetic and the B&B experience on the terraced slopes allowed us to experience many different beautiful scenery. The room is simple and has good facilities and equipment. The Dyson hair dryer is very comfortable. I like it very much. It is warm and high-end! Experience the chirping of the robin during the day, and fall asleep to the sound of frogs at night, as well as the bamboo forest among the pines. It just happened to rain in Chongqing. The clouds and mist in the mountains in the morning and the new rain in the empty mountains were very healing. Chongqing is really charming! Chongqing has 3D and is also a mountain city! The ingredients picked in Pucun are hard to come by. The plums just came out recently, so sweet! The butler was attentive and accompanying me throughout the whole process, very considerate! I like Pucun very much and will come to Pucun next time!

GGuest UserJust finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room.
Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious.
Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable.
What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable.
Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced:
- A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty
- Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals
- One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it
- Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel.
- A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room
- Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness
Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too.
Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

GGuest UserLocation was great. Right next to the metro station, although the entrance is a little hard to find the first time. Very close to a lot of the main attractions. I had a river view and it was great, but a weird choice - the large window is in the bathroom. You can barely see it from the room itself, but when you're on the toilet you're on full view to the world unless you close the curtains.
However, I was pretty disappointed by this hotel. From most of the other reviews, you get the impression this is newly renovated and very clean. It's not. There's black mould all around the sink and on the wallpaper behind the sink. There's orange mould in the shower, the grout work in the shower is badly cracked and missing in places, so who knows how much leaks to the floor below. There's weird stains on the curtains. As a guy with very short hair, travelling alone, when I find several long black hairs on the floor, I know they're not mine and the place wasn't cleaned properly. They charge 30元 to use slippers, so I decided to use my socks. Bad decision. Within a day, they were the dirtiest I've ever seen socks. The projector (right above the bed) has so much dust on it, it's obviously never been cleaned since it was installed. The place is well overdue a deep clean.
But that's not even the worst of it. Fundamentally, there is no sound proofing at all in this hotel. The room door allows quite a lot of light in from outside, so obviously it's not going to be very soundproof. But this was BY FAR the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. People getting food deliveries at gone midnight the first night, the second night was relatively quiet. The third night, starting at midnight the couple next door were ”enjoying themselves” and you could hear everything. I presume so could reception, as there was loud music coming from that direction but I didn't go out to investigate. That stopped at 12:30, and a bit later so did the music, and then at 1am, that same guy started watching TV very loudly. At 1:20 I sent a message to the ”24-hour front desk” Wechat to complain. That didn't get answered until 8:30 the next day, when I got a terse message basically saying ”well done! you handled that well.” What I'd done was at 1:35 when reception still hadn't done anything, I knocked on the door and asked him to turn it down. The next night, he was at it again - TV until 2am, but a bit quieter this time, but there was still no sleep opportunity because the room next door was watching TV until 4am. And just to make sure you can't catch up sleep in the morning, the cleaning Ayi starts banging around at 9am. Remember, you can hear absolutely everything anyone is doing in this place. The wifi is right above the bed too, and has bright lights on all the time.
Oh, and facilities. I chose this hotel over others in Chongqing because it advertised guest laundry. I asked about that - she said it was on floor 31. Well the lift that services the hotel doesn't go to floor 31, so you have to go all the way down to ground floor and catch a different lift back up again. When I got there, it seemed to be a music recording studio or something, not a hotel, and they were very surprised a hotel was sending anyone there. When I explained some more, eventually he showed me to the room with a washing machine - but it was just that - a basic washing machine, with no drying facilities, no space to dry things, and seemingly they weren't really sure if I was allowed to use it, so in the end I didn't bother and had to re-use clothes for a second day during my stay in Chongqing.
As I said, the location is great, but there are several other hotels in this building, each having a floor. Personally, I'd try any of them before this one.

Hotel is convenient to many places with walking distance and daily amenities were changed . We love the washing machine and the style which feels like an apartment homely vibes. DDominic EngOur 2 duplex suites are located on the 35&36 floor respectively with a great panorama view of the rivers. There's a great food court and the #5 line metro station located in the basement- making the hotel easy to reach and excellent for any kind of travelers. Hotel is walking distance to the Jiefangbei Square, the Raffles Square; and close to many local attractions and restaurants. The suites are clean and well appointed; one even included a treadmill and an exercise bike. We highly recommend the hotel for family and business travelers. We will definitely stay here again for our future Chongqing visits 👍👍👍👍👍

Lots of food just around the area and shopping too! The room itself is huge and the staff were so kind to give us a free upgrade. There’s so much space to open our luggage and lounge around. The toilet is also very clean and spacious. Not to mention the gorgeous view since the hotel is on the 46th floor - you can enjoy the beautiful night view of Chongqing from the room! Overall a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend!!

GGuest UserTo be honest, the price of machine room 1288 is really a bit expensive, the hotel facilities are relatively old due to the long time of decoration. The hotel's meal price is not very friendly, and the first time I saw the hotel, I could not bring my own wine and takeaway. Eating is charged by the head, drinking tea is also, to be honest, in addition to the environment is good, other really... I like this hotel very much, I will choose to stay in the future.

SSarie BottWOWOWOWOOW location could not be better! Directly across from Raffles and the horizontal hotel towr on the waterfront. Bathtub room has an incredible view. Modern, industrial design. Massive bathtub. Soft mattress. Excellent service. My only notes would be to add some towel or robe hooks in the bathroom and to give a tag for the door if you want room service or ”do not disturb”. Highly recommend. I will stay here if I ever come to Chongqing again.
