The hotel in general was ok. On the first glance the room looked nice, but many flaws came out later. The shower door didn't fit, making a lot of mess when taking a shower, We got only one towel, the materace was worn and bed very squeeky. The 1 start is cause mainly by the most horrible foods we have ever tested. It was a compete disgrace. First of all of the menus are just scribbled over with a pen to update the prices and food options (very poor for 4* hotel). They have no vegetarian option at all on the menu. Thanks God my wife eat fish, so the only option on the menu was "spaghetti with fish", which was just scribbled over the bolonesse. The waiter asked if we mean bolognese and we said "no meat. Spaghetti with fish, as in the menu". The other choice was a carbonarra, which felt a little suspicious, as the country is not big on pork, but to be fair they had sausages and hams on breakfast. We didn't get any cutlery and drinks arrived much later, but the worst part was the food itself. The fish pasta was literally a bowl of spaghetti submerged in oil and chilli like a soup, with a whole dorada fish lying on top of that (with tattoo, bones and head), a potatoe and a leaf of lettuce. I have no idea was that was all about but it was inedible. The carbonarra was when worse than that. Pork Guanciale was replaced not even with bacon or ham, but with boiled chicken. It was so distant from what carbonarra should be, that it should be a criminal offence to mislead people like this. It was basically a chicken with pasta, cream and a block of orrange, unmelted cheese, sprinkled with some grated white cheese, which melt a little bit. It was truly a horrible dining experience, but by far the most expensive one.

1. Food Quality: The food served was not only bad but also appeared rotten. As a result, both my wife and l, as well as our young child, suffered from food poisoning. This is a severe health risk and unacceptable by any standard. 2. Room Cleanliness: The room was not adequately cleaned. This lack of hygiene contributed to the overall poor experience. 3. Amenities: Despite booking for two adults and one child, there was only one bottle of water provided in the room. Additionally, only one towel was supplied, which is insufficient for a family of three.

We stayed for one week, and we feel that we got lucky. The best thing was the breakfast , which was always excellent , with actual potatoes to go with the sausages. (is that an English thing!). The bed was comfy , the room clean, and spacious , with a sofa, and we found one TV channel that had films every night. Staff were very friendly , and just north of the hotel was a very good French Restaurant. (called (something) Maison). We ate twice in the Hotel for the evening meal, and that was also good. Only slight problem was that sometimes the street dogs barked in the night , outside the Hotel.

This hotel has great rooms and the location is a nice and quiet neighbourhood. It is near to the main Tunis airport and not far (using taxi) from the central Medina. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but not bad either. The staff is friendly but English is not spoken by most. The WiFi is most floors is a hit-n-miss.

The 4-star hotel presents itself well; welcoming hall, cleanliness, quick check in. But then we discover that: 1) the bar on the ground floor, contrary to what should happen in hotels that boast the title of international, no alcohol is served at the bar, not even a beer 2) in the bathroom the shower is fixed, attached to the ceiling , with a large, square shower head. Total absence of "telephone" shower to allow any guest, I stress any, to wash without completely wetting their hair. Absence of plastic cap. And how do we wash children? and an elderly person? 3) Total absence, again in the shower cubicle, of a support handle. If you fall, it's your business, your hand desperately looking for a hold to limit the damage, but only finding tiles. 4) At the time of check out (reservation via Booking, therefore guaranteed rate) I ask for explanations on the bill and as if by magic it turns out that it was overdone, 120 DT and so on. Difference returned in cash, invoice not delivered. Do we want to add anything else??? Never again. The 4 star hotel is present well; hall accueillant, propreté, rapid registration. More ensuite to discover that: 1) the bar at the back of the house, contrary to what you must pass through the hotels that boast the title "international", alcohol is not served at the bar, just like that bière 2) in the bathroom the shower is fixed, fixed to the ceiling, with a large and round shower knob. Total absence of the "telephone" shower head to allow all the guests to wash it without completely washing the towels. Absence of bonnet de douche.. And comment on the children? and a person aged? 3) Total absence, toujours in the cabine de duchee, de poignée de support. If you die, it's your affair, your main checker will hope for a prize to limit the losses, but you won't find anything else. 4) At the moment of check out (reservation via Booking, where you are guaranteed) I ask you for explanations on the facture and how to find out what the price is, 120 DT and also the suite. Difference returned in espèces, facture not live. Voulons-nous ajouter autre chose ??? Plus jamais.

In transit in Tunis, I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport on the advice of an acquaintance, in fact it is very quick by taxi. Professional and friendly welcome, spacious room. Practical restaurant if you wish to dine on site. But I will not renew because I have serious doubts about hygiene. Above all, the next morning, I had several insect bites on my back, and they stayed for a week...

Quiet 10 minutes by car from the center of Tunis and 10 minutes from the international airport. Spacious and clean room. Only a buffet dinner and no alcoholic drinks. Very kind staff. I advise you to avoid the rooms on the second floor which overlook the courtyard where there are several motors which make a deafening noise preventing you from sleeping. I got it the first night. Fortunately the kind staff changed my room for the following night.
