Find the Cheap Petropolis Hotels

Very well located hotel, near the Imperial Museum, the Lanchones and Shops, historical building, has received an excellent tasty decoration, with modern airs that talk with the old, without confusion. Room with comfortable bed and bed clothes, good size bed, great bed, great bathroom, could look more at toilet products like a way to enchante the client. The breakfast coffee environment is very beautiful and modern. the location where the swimming pool and the idem water baths are located. All very clean. Attentive staff. In front of the hotel has a taxi and parking point 24h. Also has a supermarket. The hotel has a bistro; pizza, but we didn't. The lift wasn't working, that was the only negative point for me. They could have warned us, because if I were with my mother, I wouldn't have to get up the stairs.

Positive points: breakfast was excellent and the location was also excellent, because we managed to make a number of walks, staff were educated and careful. On the first and second day of hosting, when we return to the hotel night, we asked for an extra bathtub wallpaper due to a discharge in the bathroom 08 and the reception official quickly answered our request. The bedroom was very smellful.Negative points: The garage is small and you need to leave the key with the hotel staff ...this my husband lost a key and just missed home. The breakfast room has few places and depending on the time you will have to wait for a table to be unoccupied. The bathroom of room 08 had a vacuum that we reported on the first day, on the second day they said they had fixed, but when we arrived in the room we noticed it was worse and fixed on the third day of hosting.

We had originally booked to stay at the sister property Locanda Bela Vista. however they messaged a few days before our stay to say they had a birthday party on the night we had booked and it was likely to be noisy so would we accept an upgrade to the Locanda della Mimosa - obviously we said yes. I think this indicates that their service level is high. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything required. The pool was long enough to swim which is always a plus. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable (if short) stay.

Built in 1930, the hotel was reopened in 2011 after a 45 year hiatus. It's like the golden age of glamour in the lobby. Checked in promptly despite turning up 2 hours before the 3pm check in, which was very much appreciated. We were a party of 4, 2 rooms. Both rooms identical….spacious, clean, quality linens, VERY comfy bed, effective A/C unit (saving grace since it was 34C outside being summertime). Fast WiFi though a little annoying to have to login every few hours (I thought hotels had abolished this way of logging in a decade ago). Shower had excellent pressure (there's a clasp to alter the angle of the showerhead). We came by car and there's free parking with valet service which is very helpful and also very cheerful valet man who helped us with our bags too. Nice touch! Breakfast was simple and not anything to write home about though that is typical in Brazil. We're not really breakfast folk but enjoyed the coffee as a pick-me-up with a slice of toast and jam. I'd recommend to couples, folk on business and families alike, whether for an overnight stay or longer - has everything you would want and need. The Hotel is situated in the heart of Petropolis' historic centre so can walk everywhere within the historic town. Overall can only but give the hotel 5* and would certainly stay again if ever in the lovely town that is Petropolis. To the staff at Grande Hotel, keep up the great work!

… a equipe de limpeza interna do Casarão precisa de novo treinamento: poeira e lixo acumulados embaixo das camas, teias de aranha em lustre e janelas. Quanto ao resto, só elogios, embora as toalhas de banho pudessem ser melhores. Excelente localização na Av Koeler, vizinho a vários casarões e palácios da época do Império. Jardim lindíssimo e muito bem cuidado. Excelente restaurante para todas as refeições (o buffet do café da manhã não é farto, porém suficiente, de alta qualidade e tem um complemento à la carte com pratos quentes) e boa carta de vinhos, com preços módicos. Tem piscina externa, interna (esta é climatizada), sauna, local para massagem e esteiras para a prática de exercícios. Escolha um apartamento mais para o fundo do casarão principal, de preferência no segundo andar, e com vista para o jardim do lago. Evite as suítes 01, 02 e 03 por barulho proveniente do andar superior, da rua e da Dispensa Material de Limpeza. O ponto alto do hotel é a equipe da Recepção, que nos atendeu muito bem e do Restaurante, com um destaque especial para a Gisele. E a beleza do lugar.
