Traveling during off-peak hours after the new year is absolutely the right choice. Chaozhou is less crowded and you can better experience the city's culture and food. After looking at several hotels, I finally chose this hotel with a good reputation in Chaozhou. My experience after staying was consistent with the reviews I saw. The butler's service was very good. After filling out the check-in questionnaire, the room was arranged according to what I filled out. The guest room has a coffee machine, Gongfu tea set, a rich minibar, and fresh fruits. The most eye-catching thing in the room is the soaking pool. It's really big. It's very comfortable to watch a drama while eating fruit. The cultural activity was Teochew opera, and I also experienced the feeling of putting on costumes. In the morning, I ate a lot of authentic snacks with the housekeeper. My favorite was rice rolls and candied scallion pancakes. The taste of the pancakes is very unique. The mung bean pancakes were so delicious that I didn’t have time to buy them before I left. The butler even helped buy them for me, which was so considerate.

If you are looking for a quiet hotel in the area well connected to the train station, this is it.
Everyone in the hotel were genuinely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and specious, although if you are a non smoker better inform the hotel to prepare a room without the cigarette smell.
They have Chinese style breakfast. During the weekdays, with only few guest, there weren't much choice, but everything was good. During weekends with more guests there were a lot of options. Only if they have real coffee, not instant...
Hot Springs Area was additionally paid 88 per person, open 14-21. It was a very nice experience, but expect a lot of people during weekends. Unfortunately while inside, you cannot to go to the hotel restaurant to eat something, but you can order waimai.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay and big thanks to the front desk staff for all the support 😊

The hotel is located in the Archway Street of the ancient city. You can see the archway when you go downstairs. If you drive by yourself, the hotel will contact you one day before check-in to inform you of the parking location. Upon arrival, a staff member will drive you to the parking lot, and then the guest will walk 50-60 meters to the hotel. If you arrive by car, the hotel will pick you up for free. Due to geographical limitations, the hotel lobby is not large, but the rooms are large, clean and well-equipped. The staff are polite and welcoming. There are free tea, water, and drinks in the room, and fruits and late-night snacks are delivered every day. At night, you can also go to the rooftop restaurant to enjoy free cocktails, coffee, and snacks while enjoying the night view of Archway Street. The breakfast is also quite exquisite.
But there is one thing. There are many shops in Paifang Street and the flow of people is large. Rooms on the lower floors facing the street should be noisy, so those with poor sleep should be careful.

The hotel is newly opened. The formaldehyde smell in the upper floors is still quite strong, but the formaldehyde smell in the lower floors is not that strong. The room size is also satisfactory. However, the four-piece set on the bed may be caused by the detergent and is not so comfortable. It is recommended to get your own four-piece set. As a temporary hotel to catch a flight, this price is about right.
However, the hotel's service is really good. I originally thought they had an airport drop-off service, but I didn’t expect that after arriving at the hotel, the number of people for the airport drop-off service was full, and the earliest departure was at 6 o’clock. I couldn’t make an online car-hailing reservation. I was super anxious. Finally, I asked the front desk guy for help. They were very worried. For example, there is no place or basket to put or store used towels and bath towels. , these used towels are just piled on the floor. While sleeping in the middle of the night, there was a sudden loud noise, and it turned out that the cover behind the mirror fell off. The level of decoration is really good! In addition, the cleanliness is really not complimentable. I took a photo of the corridor outside, but I forgot to take a photo of the dust on the countertop in the room inside. It was the best night's sleep for the Shantou-Nanao Island-Chaozhou trip. The boss is enthusiastic and fully reflects the Chaoshan people's custom of drinking tea. After checking out the next day, we stored our luggage and continued drinking tea in the lobby on the first floor. The room also has tea sets and free private tea. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Guangji Building from the B&B. There is also a small electric donkey for rent at the B&B next door for 10 yuan per hour. Very convenient

NNyit PingThe best part of this place is the location, right behind YUY Hotel at the junction of Paifang Street (Taiping Rd) and Xima Road. You can just walk a few minutes to Kaiyuan Temple, Guangji Gate and Guangji Bridge. At 5.30pm, they remove the pontoons in the middle of the bridge and at 8pm, there is a light show. Food is abundantly found in the surrounding streets. Access to this hotel is via the 2 lanes beside YUY Hotel from Paifang street or Xima Road. The boss and his wife communicate in Mandarin, so Google translate will come in handy. Before checking in, you need to inform the inn of the time of arrival so that the boss can meet you. We were given a key card and complete freedom to go in and out anytime. The place is quiet and very clean. It is also quite new. Amenities are good quality, towels and bedding all good. Perfect for an independent traveller. Hosts are friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine and place for drying clothes on the rooftop. If you come from Chaosan train station, take bus K2 and stop at the Central Hospital opposite West Lake and walk to the inn in about 10-15mins. Make sure you have WeChat installed in your phone to communicate with the host.

KKIANThe check in by staff too slow n not professional. When check as foreigner they had to do manually input info . Halfway she said asked me to wait n to serve local clients instead . I got angry n told me it should be in proper qué way. They claimed foreigner passport too complicated to fill up if they are new staff but the experience staff should come n help . The check in was totally too long even later it was finished in 15 mins. Local clients with children forcing them to do their first but staff should uphold priority come first for who come first.
