"I feel deeply grateful and truly indebted to this hotel and its incredible team. One night, my daughter suddenly became very sick and could not tolerate the pain. I went to the front office to ask if there was a nearby hospital and how we could get there. The hotel is located in the middle of Xiling Mountain, and transportation is only possible by cable car, which made the situation even more stressful. The hotel immediately involved the General Manager, Mr. Huang Zhiyong, who personally took charge of the situation. Despite the language barrier, he made every effort to communicate with me using translation tools, and he also speaks and understands English quite well, which gave me great comfort. Mr. Huang contacted an ambulance at the bottom of the mountain and arranged a shuttle bus to pick up my daughter. What moved me beyond words was that the staff carried my daughter on their back because she had no energy to walk. Even though the cable car had already closed, it was reopened specially for us so we could reach the ambulance safely. Knowing that I could not communicate in Chinese, Mr. Huang personally accompanied us, staying by our side throughout the entire hospital process — including CT scan, IV treatment, and all procedures. He stayed with us from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM, and then returned to the hotel together with us. I truly do not know how to fully express how grateful my daughter and I are. What Mr. Huang Zhiyong and his team did went far beyond professional duty — it was genuine kindness, compassion, and humanity. Endless thanks to Mr. Huang and the entire hotel team. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone. Will definitely come back there to show my deepest gratitude."

"We're a family of 6 with young children. Trying to book a hotel at Xiling Snow Mountain can be tricky. We're lucky to have gotten this hotel. The location is great! Conveniently located right beside the cable car station. About the hotel, we booked 3 separate rooms for the family as the instructions on Trip.com weren't so clear. But I realised I could have just booked 2 rooms instead of 3. This is a booking tip 😄 The hotel breakfast is pretty simple. There's egg fried rice, vegetables, croissant, biscuits, noodles, dumplings, mantou, pau, etc.. It costs 39yuan per person. We paid for breakfast so we can at least eat the mantou, red bean pau and bread. There's a simple coffee machine too. As it's very conveniently located, you can be the first to arrive at the cable car station. There are also some food options nearby. For my Muslim friends, there are no Halal food options. But what we did was to order only 1 dish from the hotel, Tomato and Egg noodles soup. It costs 28yuan. Overall, I would like to commend the hotel staff. As we're non-chinese speaking with lots of questions, they were really patient with all the translations. There's also a bus just below which connects the Xiling Snow Mountain to Dayi Highspeed Train area which is very convenient."

"Due to my child's autumn break, our family decided to visit Huashuiwan and stayed at the Howard Johnson Hotel. During check-in, Front Desk Manager Wang Wenjun welcomed us warmly, which made us look forward to a pleasant holiday. Unfortunately, there was a small hiccup during our stay. Manager Wang Wenjun handled the issue very responsibly and proactively, and effectively communicated it to the relevant staff. The staff member in charge also took our concerns seriously and resolved them excellently. We are very grateful to the hotel for fostering such outstanding employees. I hope the hotel can be a bit more meticulous when cleaning and inspecting rooms. We will definitely return to the Howard Johnson Hotel Huashuiwan in the future and will be sure to contact Manager Wang Wenjun again. We wish the Howard Johnson Hotel Huashuiwan continued success!"

"It was comfortable staying at Yingxue hotel. However, there was no snow at all during our time in early dec. Only frozen snow at the top mountain. Room was cozy but the heating system is not heating well. So its a bit chilly at night but everything ws good. Near to the top ropeway station & other facilities. Breakfast was okay but we expected fruits & not much served for breakfast. Oh we had to bring our luggages to the hotel using ropeway. So just pack your things lightly. Can book the hotel 2 weeks before date."

"The hotel offers basic facilities, it more than makes up for it with its wonderful location and great service. The highlight of my stay was the beautiful balcony view – it provided a peaceful and scenic spot to relax, offering a lovely way to enjoy the surroundings. The food at the downstairs restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The dishes were delicious, and I found myself looking forward to each meal. It was a great convenience especially when it’s so cold outside. The hotel’s proximity to the ski resort was another bonus. It was incredibly convenient for getting to the slopes with the free shuttle, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to enjoy the snow mountain. Downside was the smell when first enter the room, probably the room has just been cleaned. Need to open balcony door to ventilate then the odour is gone. Lastly, the staff (Mr Lee) was quick to respond and provided excellent service, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. While the hotel may not have the latest amenities, the overall experience was positive, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy stay with great food and easy access to skiing."

"A perfect stay for families who want a different experience. The staffs are very helpful! We request for a muslim breakfast and they gave us bun, egg and soy milk. We were very thankful. Theres also a restaurant nearby selling fried potatoes which us muslim can eat called Master Potato. Toilets are a bit far but very clean and well heated. Overall we were satisfied! Will definitely recommend to friends."

"My friends and I went hiking and hot-spring hopping at Xiling Snow Mountain this past weekend. I spent ages comparing places online before booking this guesthouse, and it was such a fantastic stay – all that time choosing accommodation really paid off! (I'm super picky about where I stay, so being this satisfied means I *have* to write a detailed review!) First, let's talk about the location: It's situated between Huashuiwan and Xiling Snow Mountain, making it incredibly convenient whether you're driving to the mountain for a hike or heading to the hot springs. Both are just about a ten to twenty-minute drive away. (Hotels in Huashuiwan are quite pricey, so this guesthouse offers much better value for money.) Next, the room facilities: We were initially worried it would be too cold on the mountain, but those fears were completely unfounded once we arrived. The guesthouse's central air conditioning is super powerful; the room got toasty warm very quickly. Plus, the owner thoughtfully turned on electric blankets for us in advance to warm up the beds. The room itself was clean and smelled fresh, and the bedding was so comfortable – I slept for a full ten hours, which I haven't done in ages! Hot water was instant, too, which was very convenient. And the in-room Wi-Fi was fast! No buffering at all when watching videos or playing games. There's a riverside path on the first floor, a mahjong room on the rooftop, and the courtyard is filled with lots of greenery and flowers, perfect for both relaxation and entertainment. Finally, the service: The owner is really nice, always ready to answer questions, and even upgraded our room type for free. Breakfast is complimentary with both Chinese and Western options. The owner also gave us directions to the hiking trail and, when we returned in the afternoon, we bought hot spring tickets directly from the guesthouse (highly recommend – they're cheaper than buying outside!). We then went to soak in the hot springs at Huashuiwan, which was incredibly relaxing. After coming back in the evening, we ordered BBQ from the place next door (they deliver directly to the guesthouse). My friends and I had such a lovely time eating and chatting. On Sunday, we slept in and then slowly drove down the mountain – it was just so comfortable. In short, this trip truly exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this guesthouse and will definitely stay here again next time!"

"This was an incredibly satisfying stay, exceeding my expectations in many areas. Firstly, the hardware, from the renovation materials to the furniture and appliances, all felt high-quality and substantial. Unlike some hotels where the pictures look good but the actual details up close reveal a cheap feel, this place was the real deal. Secondly, the hotel paid attention to many subtle details that enhanced the guest experience without you even realizing it. For instance, not only was the hairdryer a Dyson, but it was mounted to the wall with the cord neatly coiled, saving you the hassle of unwinding it every time. Another example is the slight slope in the bathroom floor, preventing water from pooling and causing odors. Furthermore, the room design allowed access to the bathroom from both sides of the bed, so you don't have to navigate around the entire bed in the middle of the night. Even the toilet was a smart bidet, not like the fake smart toilets found in some other hotels. Thirdly, the hotel's service level was excellent. There was a complimentary minibar, afternoon tea, and they even delivered milk and tremella soup in the evening. The staff were also very enthusiastic and proactive. Lastly, the hot springs were authentic, with the distinctive sulfur smell characteristic of Huashuiwan Hot Springs. My skin felt incredibly smooth after soaking, and there were many pools, mostly used by guests, so it never felt crowded. The private hot tub in the room was also easy and convenient to operate. In summary, after staying at so many hotels, it's clear this hotel has put in a lot of thought and investment. It offers excellent value for money."

"The Hotel staff is very kind and thoughtful. We traveled 2hs and arrived to the Hotel at midnight, the manager cooked for us, he drove us next day and helped us to arrange a car to return to Chengdu city. Rooms are spacious, heated with bed heating as well. Mountain and river View is beautiful. Very convenient to visit Xiling Snow and Ski mountain"
