"This hotel is located right behind the Wunongding viewing platform, offering an absolutely superb view. As soon as we arrived, a butler warmly greeted us. The hotel provides oxygen facilities, and the highest viewing platform directly faces the Meili Thirteen Peaks – truly magnificent. Since there aren't many restaurants in Wunongding, we just ate at the hotel, and to our surprise, the food was quite good. The most noteworthy aspect was the service from the butler, a young lady from Northeast China. That night, I wanted to photograph the Milky Way over Meili Snow Mountain but didn't know how to operate my camera. She enthusiastically offered her help! Oh, and the hotel also provides phone tripods, which really helps with getting great photos! The next morning, I was up early, waiting on the hotel's rooftop, and ran into the same young lady. She even helped us capture the delayed 'Sunrise over Golden Mountains,' which was absolutely fantastic!!!"
"The room was very clean and warm. After being out in the cold wind on the observation deck, a hot shower felt incredibly good. It's only a few hundred meters from the observation deck, so you don't have to wake up extra early to see the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' (a local scenic phenomenon).
**Facilities:** Very complete.
**Hygiene:** Very clean.
**Environment:** Quite beautiful. A slight downside is that there are other guesthouses on the street under renovation, so the street is a bit dirty, but that's not the hotel's fault.
**Service:** Absolutely fantastic! The owner is super nice, helped with parking, and if you have any issues, just ask them."
"The environment here is absolutely fantastic! I'd called the front desk in advance to say I wanted to photograph the snow-capped mountains, and they assigned me a room with an excellent view. I was really impressed by that. Upon arrival, I also received a lovely little souvenir, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, all tasting excellent. The hotel's location is simply unbeatable; it's almost at the very top, allowing you to see the 'golden sunrise over the mountains' and the 'silver moonlight on the mountains' right from your room with virtually no obstructions! It's incredibly good value! Getting to Feilai Temple from the hotel is also very convenient. If you're coming to see the Meili Snow Mountain, you absolutely must choose this place – the value for money is off the charts!"
"I scoured countless reviews online for hotels in Feilai Temple due to the crane issue and ultimately chose this one, and it turns out I made a great choice, haha! 😄 The location is excellent, right in the front row of hotels, so it doesn't obstruct the view. It's right next to Meili Wangshi, and while this one is slightly more to the left, it doesn't affect the view of the 'Sunrise over Golden Mountain' (日照金山) – the photos turn out the same. I stayed in a scenic view room on the top floor, the innermost one, and the view was fantastic. I only stayed one night though, so I didn't have time to just relax and watch the snow-capped mountains from the room. There's a rooftop on the fifth floor for viewing, and the hotel was quite busy, with many guests bringing tripods 👍. The underfloor heating in the room was very effective and cozy; the sheets and duvet were warm, which was really comfortable. I bought three oxygen canisters but didn't end up using them, haha, so I gave them to the driver in the end. I was so lucky to see both the Golden Mountain and the Silver Mountain! Perfect! PS: This young lady's skewers are tastier than Uncle Beard's 😄 (referring to the last establishment I visited)."
"We got the panoramic room on the 4th floor, and the view is really nice, but FYI, the bottom half of the view is the building across the street, which isn't that pretty. During the time we went, in late March, it was really cold - they did turn on the heating, which was nice, and the bed did have heaters, and they gave extra blankets - but the floor was really cold, which is understandable. Unfortunately, when we went, we were unable to see the Snow Mountain Meili as it was cloudy in the evening and snowing really hard in the morning. They have a rooftop deck from which you can look out and see the mountain, which is nice so you don't have to go down to the observation platform down the street to see the sunrise."
"I stayed for one night on July 1st, and right away, I knew I had to recommend this hidden gem to everyone. The fact that I'm still thinking about it and writing this review after all this time really speaks volumes about how wonderful and value-for-money this hotel is to me.
First, the room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. Second, the owner was incredibly kind. My friend and I visited when it wasn't busy, and upon realizing we were students, she not only generously upgraded our room but also gave us a discount on the price. A huge thank you to her for her wonderful hospitality!"
"Wonderful! Truly felt like a luxurious home stay with beautiful design and high quality linens. Hotel was kind enough to help us book bus tickets to Ninong, drive us to and from the observation deck for Meili Xue Shan at sunrise, and drop us off at the bus station. Highly recommend!"
"Coming to Meili to see the 'sunrise over the golden mountains' (Rizhao Jinshan), choosing this guesthouse was a perfect stay.
**Location:** The landlady is incredibly kind and even offers pick-up and drop-off services to Feilai Temple. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.
**Room:** The guesthouse facilities are very new. The hanging tapestries are beautiful, handmade Nepali carpets. Oxygen supply and heating facilities are excellent, and the room is very clean. The bedding and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The window view is also stunning.
**Service:** The front desk staff are all very attentive. Check-in was efficient, and they proactively offered shuttle services. Housekeeping was also very quick to respond to requests.
**Facilities:** The smart toilet and smart curtains are of high quality. Attention to detail truly shines here, making it an excellent value for money stay. I will definitely be back!"
"This hotel is conveniently located near the Feilai Temple觀景台 (Feilai Temple Viewing Platform), directly facing the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain, Kawagebo. You can literally lie in bed and witness the breathtaking panorama of the 'Golden Sun on Snow Mountain' phenomenon. The room design perfectly blends ******* aesthetics with modern simplicity, and thoughtful details like underfloor heating, humidifiers, and stargazing windows really stand out. The service team is warm and professional; they not only provide sunrise times in advance but also share insights into local culture and travel tips. The dining experience is exquisite; both the yak hotpot and ******* breakfast were incredibly memorable. Overall, the experience far exceeded expectations. It's a hidden gem of a hotel with both heart and stunning views, absolutely worth a special trip!"
"This stay offers great value for money. The hotel has an excellent view of Meili Snow Mountain from its observatory deck on the 5th floor, although the view from the room is partially obstructed by a building on the right-hand side.
The reception hall is impressive, and we received a warm welcome with afternoon tea, nighttime desserts, and group activities organized by the hotel, including fireworks. We were very fortunate to catch the Geminid meteor shower during our stay and were able to watch it comfortably from our room—and, of course, to admire Meili Snow Mountain at sunrise."

This was my first time staying at a Jianglu hotel, and overall, I was very satisfied. We were able to see both Sunshine Golden Mountain and Moonshine Silver Mountain. The downside was that the price was a bit high for National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, even though we booked over two months in advance. We arrived by Diqing Bus. Before boarding, we told the driver to stop at the entrance of the Deqin Tunnel. After passing Baima Snow Mountain, we could text the butler and they would pick us up. The interior is beautiful, and you can tell a lot of money has been invested in it, with a sense of design. I had read reviews before arriving, and they said the room was fully equipped, and it was indeed. Even face masks and a humidifier were included, along with other amenities you'd expect. The hotel was also very clean. Even though we weren't specifically looking to see Golden Mountain and were just looking for a different getaway, we felt the hotel met all our needs. The staff were incredibly kind and passionate about their work. I hope to pass on this good fortune to everyone who visits Wunongding. P.S. Wunongding offers more views of the mountains than Feilai Temple. Feilai Temple is closer to the main peak, was developed earlier, and the food at Dale Restaurant nearby is even better, hahaha. The accommodations here are still superior.

Absolutely loved The Dram. The overall decor is unique and stylish. It was so relaxing just staying in the cafe, staring at the clouds – truly felt like a vacation. The package included complimentary rock carving and intangible cultural heritage rubbings, both excellent experiences. The room facilities were top-notch; the underfloor heating and diffused oxygen generator are truly a benchmark for hotels in high-altitude areas. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast was special and plentiful, and dinner prices were very reasonable. For a restaurant in a scenic area, it was great value for money. Highly recommend it!!! Although there's a hotel under construction next door which obstructs part of the view, overall, it was still fantastic.

Very satisfied stay. I wanted to go to Niding on foot and found this newly opened hotel. The surrounding area was quiet and the stream was very tasteful and clean. I went to the nearby village to eat at night. I was afraid that the hotel was not good. The result was completely worried! I ordered the stew chicken, which is called a full of ingredients. Although the stew is a lot of oil, it is not greasy at all. The manager taught me to sprinkle the stew on the rice and sprinkle some salt to eat, don't mention the fragrance! The rice noodles for breakfast were so delicious. I ate two mornings and had good night milk delivered to the room in the evening. The experience was full. In the morning, there was a villager's vicissitudes praying ceremony nearby, and I was fortunate to participate together. In short, a very recommended one!

The hotel's design is elegant and unique, the rooms are spotless, and the amenities are top-notch. The customer service, both male and female staff, was absolutely fantastic—attentive and thoughtful. They even gave us a free room upgrade! Our large window offered a direct view of two snow-capped mountains, making for a first-class vista. In the morning, we could enjoy the 'golden mountain under the morning sun' from our room, and in the evening, watch the 'fiery golden mountain' at sunset. The hotel also provided two complimentary drinks. Breakfast was made to order based on our reserved time and tasted absolutely delicious. Plus, they offered free packed lunches for hiking, which was just amazing!

MMax_S02Firstly, this has to be one of the nicest places which I stayed at in Yunnan, or in China for that matter. You may be thinking that is price is good to be true, but this place performs well above what is to be expected of that price range. I was originally planning to stay elsewhere in Benzilan, but am very glad that I stayed here.
The rooms are super spacious with high ceilings and wooden furniture. The view out of my window was very green and calming. The amenities were all well-maintained and very clean. The pictures really don't do the rooms the justice that they deserve.
Secondly, and very importantly, the owner - a young Benzilan local who operates the hotel with his mother - is exceptionally kind, genuine and friendly. As a solo traveller, he helped organise transport, offered lunch, and even some of the local liquor. As far as service goes, this place remains unbeaten amongst all the places I've travelled in China.
The hotel overlooks the mountains surrounding Benzilan. In the evening, you can peacefully sit outside the hotel on its elevated terrace and quietly watch the mountains as the sun goes down.
I would not hesitate to stay again.
GGuest UserThe room is spacious and comfortable, with an excellent location, facing the snow-capped mountains. The next morning, the sun shone on the golden mountain, bringing a huge visual shock
Hua Zong specially arranged a special car to welcome us to the store, and carefully prepared breakfast, road meals and dinner, which were convenient and delicious. He also prepared hiking poles, crampons, etc., which came in handy when hiking on the ice lake line👍👍
May your home in the distance prosper and have a bright future🎉🎉
May Hua Zong weigh everything he gets, and weigh more than sugarcane💪💪
MM318772****I chose this place because it's close to the village entrance, and I'm really happy with my decision. The room was generally quite clean, came with a foot bath tub and a shoe brush, and the shower was spacious. The bed was very soft and comfortable. Being a wooden structure, some noise is inevitable, but it generally quieted down after 10 PM. The front desk offers a fascia gun and hiking poles. From the platform right outside the door, you can see Shennü Peak. For breakfast, they serve rice noodles. The guy at the front desk was super nice; on our last day, we had to leave very early, and he even packed us some snacks for the road!
AAnonymous UserMy sincerest apologies for taking so long to write this review, especially after such a wonderful few days in Yubeng! But it's precisely because the experience was so unforgettable that even after all this time, I still remember every single detail, and I simply had to come back and leave this glowing review!
The hotel's location is simply unbeatable! My room had a direct, unobstructed view of the snow-capped mountains. Every morning, pulling back the curtains, I was greeted by the breathtaking spectacle of the 'Golden Mountain' – the peaks glowing golden under the rising sun. Being able to witness the mountains change from the soft hues of dawn to the deep colors of dusk right from my bed – this experience is truly beyond words; it's something you simply have to experience to truly understand!
I hope to return again someday to experience the tranquility and warmth at the foot of the sacred mountains once more!
SS.LinaThis independent log cabin has a great atmosphere and is only about a ten-minute walk from the Feilai Temple viewing point. Although the weather wasn't ideal and I couldn't see the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains, it was still a worthwhile stay for the night! Due to the environment, there were a few bugs in the room. I brought my own insecticide, but the owner could consider providing a mild insect repellent in the rooms for future guests. Also, I didn't plan on using the humidifier, but out of curiosity, I opened it and saw it was full of limescale. If you're going to provide amenities like that, it's important to pay attention to hygiene and clean them regularly.
MM425930****I was planning my trip from Lijiang to Feilai Temple to see the beautiful Meili Snow Mountain. After much deliberation, I decided to book this hotel, and I'm very satisfied with my choice. The room was spacious and well-equipped. Although there's no snow mountain view, it offers great value for the price. It's also conveniently located close to the transportation pick-up point.
MM440391****The room is big, everything is complete, the food is good, and you can ride a bike🥰. The most important thing is that you can see the Meili Snow Mountain when you get up. It is also close to Yubeng Village and you can hike🥰. The manager sister is super nice and amiable. , approachable😘, really a good choice
GGuest UserSimply amazing, every aspect of our experience was superb. Right upon arrival, the front desk upgraded our room. Opening the window, we were greeted with a view of Shennü Peak, and the hotel directly faces Baima Snow Mountain. The 4th-floor cafe offers completely unobstructed, panoramic views. What's more, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to Feilai Temple viewpoint to watch the sunrise – truly a thoughtful touch! I wanted to buy some matsutake mushrooms but was short on time due to my travel schedule. The owner personally helped me select them and arranged for express delivery. They've already arrived, and the quality is absolutely superb! The room's environment goes without saying: impeccably clean and tidy. It's truly the most satisfying guesthouse I've stayed in recently! I'll definitely be back!
SSem S.We stayed here for three nights whilst exploring upper Yubeng and doing some of the hikes. The location is great with some good panoramic views of the mountains. Sunset and sunrise are both amazing from here! The service was good, friendly staff and kind people. The room is fine! We had a heater which helped a lot for the cold nights. We didn't like the disposable towels, such a waste! Also the room wasn't cleaned once in our three nights and we had to keep asking for toilet paper/towels ourselves. Apart from that everything was fine. Good vegetarian food too:)
KKapil KaneThis is my second time staying here. First with family and this time, alone. Rooms are very clean, has great big bathroom with hot water. They have heated blankets and an electric heater to keep you warm.
Lady who runs the place is also nice. She is very chilled. The dog Dou Dou is also very cool.
And the best part about this hotel is the sunrise you get to see right from your room.
