"We stayed in an Economy Twin Room. The industrial design was quite distinctive.
For the specific room my family and I occupied, if you're sharing with friends or someone you're not romantically involved with, you'll definitely want to draw the internal bathroom curtain (which covers both the toilet and shower) to avoid any awkward direct views from the bed.
Additionally, it's important to know that the bathroom door consists of two semi-transparent sliding glass panels and doesn't have a lock. The glass isn't very opaque, so those who prefer more privacy might feel a bit exposed or uncomfortable. While the door directly faces a wall, which isn't too bad, it can be a little unsettling if your companion is coming in or out of the room (especially from the right side)... though perhaps some might find it 'stimulating'?
On the whole, the most crucial aspect was how incredibly comfortable the bed was. The sheets, mattress, duvet, and pillows all perfectly met our preferences. The decor was also lovely, making the entire stay feel exceptionally pleasant."

"Yilan is famous for its stunning mountain and ocean views, rich local culture, delicious food (like taro ice cream and milk rolls), and diverse activities (hot springs, scenic countryside, family-friendly spots such as the National Center for Traditional Arts and Dongshan River). It's perfect for couples, families, and friends traveling together. The opening of the Xueshan Tunnel has made transportation much more convenient. Here, you can experience everything from natural hidden gems like Matcha Mountain to creative parks like the Chung Hsing Cultural and Creative Park, enjoying a leisurely, slow-paced lifestyle or thrilling activities like kayaking. Even on rainy days, there are plenty of indoor attractions, ensuring a wide array of activities that never get repetitive."

"The room was fully equipped with smart features, and although some of the devices were a bit clunky, it still made for a fantastic experience. The sound system was great, and the room itself was large and comfortable! The communal activity area even had a waterslide! While it was on the smaller side, even I, a 'big kid' at 168cm, had a blast on it. The ground-floor terrace pool was huge and wonderful, offering plenty of Instagrammable seating. There was even a separate smaller pool area! It's absolutely perfect for a family getaway with children, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you never have to worry about disturbing anyone. The in-room hot spring was superb! The tub was so spacious it felt like it could easily accommodate five people. The only minor downside was the bed, which was quite firm. However, for those who prefer a firm mattress, it's a major plus and a refreshing change from hotels that only feature soft beds."

"The connecting room is really great. The footbath on the living room window sill is very unique and comfortable. There are facilities for adults and children to play. The only drawback is that the SPA is located outdoors and there are more mosquitoes in the evening, so it is better to soak in the morning."

"recently stayed at Just Sleep Jiaoxi and had a very enjoyable and comfortable visit. As two older adults, we really appreciated how convenient the hotel’s location was—close to the main attractions, food options, and the train station, yet still peaceful enough for proper rest.
The room was clean, well-kept, and pleasantly spacious. The in-room hot spring bath was a highlight for us. It was easy to use, very relaxing, and perfect for soothing tired muscles at the end of the day. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay.
The staff were friendly, patient, and always ready to help with directions and suggestions. They never made us feel rushed and were consistently warm and professional.
Breakfast offered a nice variety, with simple but tasty options that suited us well. We also appreciated how smoothly everything was managed—from check-in to housekeeping.
Overall, Just Sleep Jiaoxi gave us a relaxing, fuss-free stay with great value. We wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next visit to Jiaoxi."

"I've stayed here so many times! After comparing a few places, I still prefer this one because the facilities are very complete. Plus, the room I got this time was even bigger than last time.
Hygiene: Very clean.
Service: The security guards at the entrance are very nice, polite, and provide excellent service.
Free mini-bar: They even provide Yilan's local specialty ox-tongue pastries and Sanxing scallion crackers!
Handicraft workshop: This time I made a woven bracelet."

"The hotel is located on a main street, near eateries and convenience stores, and is about a ten-minute walk from Jiaoxi Transfer Station and Jiaoxi Railway Station. The hotel does not have a public hot spring bath, but each room has a private soaking tub, and there are also private hot spring rooms available for a fee. We stayed for two consecutive nights, and although the hotel provides breakfast, it was almost identical both days. Changing the menu would be more convenient for consecutive guests. The hotel has a water dispenser, which is very convenient as you don't need to boil water in your room. I really liked the soaking tub in the room; it was very spacious and comfortable. However, some areas were not clean enough, such as noticeable mold stains on the wall behind the faucet, which slightly detracted from the overall impression."

DdyhxConvenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too.
The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.

TTango GinaI was impressed by breakfast, no processed food, some are the most primitive and prototype food, roasted sweet potato roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, carrot kiss fish porridge, scallion pancake roast chicken, boiled eggs, up to four kinds of fruit, plus milk tea orange juice and coffee series.
Regardless of the building, garden planning, room layout and restaurant furnishings, they are all European style, and the environment is very clean. I saw the service staff finishing the garden and facilities for two days and one night.
It was my first time to take my cat out and I felt good.
AAnonymous UserThe views were absolutely stunning, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Waking up to that breathtaking ocean view every morning was truly a dream! Breakfast was also excellent and very generous, offering a great selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, plus freshly squeezed juices.
HHank ChuangGreat hotel. I highly recommend everyone to stay when visiting Yilan. The environment is quiet, the housekeeper service is great, the hotel dog is super cute, the breakfast is delicious, a good place to relax, and a great place to stay.

CClaudia xuanCame here once in a colder weather precovid. Facilities as good as I remembered, but coming in summer this time, I expected more cold suana pool then hot ones. Unfortunately that's not the case.
The hotel is decent but might need some upgrading (it looked the same over the years but somethings looked abit worn out/rusty). We came in group of 10 (5 rooms) and one room has bed bug..
Decent spread for the buffet breakfast. Close to train station and with many food options around!

PPizza-boyI recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight was definitely the playful slide right in our bedroom—what a fun and unexpected touch! The kids had a blast and made our stay feel even more special.
Outside, the play pool was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We enjoyed splashing around and lounging in the sun. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, making it an ideal place to kick back after a day of exploring.
One of the best parts of our stay was the delicious ********* food served at the B&B. Each meal was bursting with flavor, showcasing authentic dishes that satisfied our cravings. I highly recommend trying their rice rolls and congee —they were simply delightful!
Overall, this bed and breakfast offers a wonderful blend of fun activities and fantastic food. Whether you're visiting with family or looking for a unique getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back for more sliding and savoring!

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.

JJoelhoonIn the mountains, it becomes incredibly quiet at night. Dinner is served from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and it's advisable to pre-order. Nighttime activities include lighting sky lanterns, making Chinese glutinous rice balls, and enjoying a nice supper.
The giant bubble maker and the two adorable meerkats are the highlights of the experience.
However, the farm was undergoing maintenance, so caution is advised. During our visit, we only spotted two geese and one rooster in the farm, and we were chased by bees.
We encountered difficulty with the room door, as it required considerable strength to open or close. Additionally, ants were prevalent throughout the room.
Overall, it was a memorable stay. Highly recommended for large groups, big families, and company retreats.
It was just the two of us, and it felt quite quiet and lonely at night.
