"Although the hotel isn't right in the city center and is a bit of a distance from the train station, it's wonderfully quiet. The hotel itself is new and clean, and the rooms feature smart controls for lighting, curtains, and more. While the swimming pool isn't large, the water is spotlessly clean, and it's evident that daily maintenance is well-handled. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful; we even received a text message reminder the day before check-in. The complimentary afternoon tea snacks and the 7 PM tofu pudding service in the evening were both very thoughtful touches. The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, truly delicious, and the coffee was good too. All beverages in the mini-fridge were complimentary, and the small cookies were tasty 😋. The room size was just right, the bed was comfortable, and having a hot spring bath on the balcony with good ventilation and an open view made for a truly comfortable stay."

"Recently stayed at Kilin Hotel Jiaoxi and had a pleasant experience. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with good amenities. The hotel is also located in a strategic and convenient spot. A famous cake house is just a few steps away, and a popular ramen shop is right next door. Overall, a great stay for comfort and accessibility."
"Because I was taking my dog surfing, I wanted to stay somewhere close by, and this place had a great location for me. It's not far from Jiaoxi and also close to whale watching. The accommodation manager was very responsive, which was a huge plus. Their four-person room was on the third floor and even had a bathtub. The shower gel was from Savigone, and it smelled wonderful after showering, which my child loved. The air conditioning was also very cool, and the hot water supply was normal. If there hadn't been no rooms available on October 18th, I would have booked this place again. It's a pity, as the price was very reasonable. They even promptly notified us when my daughter forgot her power bank and kindly brought it back for us. Nearby attractions: Bajiao, Wushi Harbor, Lanyang Museum, Manshan Wanghai, Wai'ao Beach, Paragliding Base… all very close."

"Just Sleep Jiaoxi is exactly as what the premise name suggested, just sleep. Checking in was smooth as front counter staffs are very efficient. On one evening, it was raining heavily and the front desk offered an umbrella. I returned it by sticking the umbrella in the umbrella holder outside and inform the front desk, just simple and efficient. I took a room with an ensuite bathtub which was surprisingly more than adequate to provide a good soak and shower while in the room. Bed size literally is very small. The toilet and face basin is tucked away in another small ensuite next to the room. There is literally zero storage but for those very light traveller then it should be adequate for small luggage and some hangers to hang coats and scarfs. The room comes with tea and coffee bags which is surprisingly tasty. My room comes with breakfast which is served starting at 7am. I must've been staying during peak hours because on the first day, I decided to head out for breakfast at 9am — and the queue was massive. I had to wait to be seated, with many other guests. The staff was very efficient in clearing tables and assigning tables to waiting guests. The food and drinks spread is adequate, more than adequate. I had good breakfast before venturing out. Thank you Just Sleep Jiaoxi."

"I booked the room that morning. I don't know if it was too late, but I didn't receive any check-in information after booking. I called in the afternoon and was told they couldn't receive the information from the hotel booking platform. Fortunately, the process was very quick.
Free parking is available, but it's likely full if you arrive too late. However, there's also street parking nearby.
This hotel offers excellent value for money. The room was clean and newly decorated. The TV was great (with Netflix), the hair dryer was powerful, and there was a bathtub. However, the hot water needed to be turned up high and waited for a while; I turned it too low and it still didn't heat up."
"I stayed in a family room for five with friends. The facilities were plentiful, offering everything from dining and lodging to entertainment. Overall, it was a comfortable stay! The soundproofing was pretty good, though there were occasional loud noises, but the hallway wasn't filled with chatter. For meals, there was always coffee and delicious cookies available in the lobby, which was great! But the late-night snack was... a shame. The fried food was cold, and even the fried tofu wrappers were cold?! The tea eggs and grass jelly were delicious! I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which had a wide variety of options. The room was a bit dark, the bed a bit soft, and the cleanliness needed attention. Upon checking in and entering the room, I saw a large, long strand of hair hanging from the wet/dry door in the bathroom..."
"Overall, it was pretty good.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean.
**Environment**: They even provide bottled water, it would be perfect if there was a scale.
**Service**: Still very enthusiastic.
One thing to note is that there are three hotels in this building, so pay attention when using the elevator!"

"really awesome stay - everything was impeccable from check-in to check-out.
the staff were so attentive, service with a smile all the time!
the room itself was huge!!!! super clean and very comfortable. the shower area included the onsen as well.
location wise, it’s really close to Jiaoxi Station. there’s many car rental shops around, so renting a car to drive around the area is really easy too.
overall a wonderful stay at Yamagata Kaku Hotel!"

"Basically, this inn is worth the price; it is very close to the night market, which is within walking distance. However, if you prefer ‘star’ or fancy hotels, this might not be a good choice. I booked two rooms: one had a tatami bed, which was a bit too soft for me, but overall, this is just an inn with a hot spring facility in the room at a reasonable price."

DdyhxConvenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too.
The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.

TTango GinaI was impressed by breakfast, no processed food, some are the most primitive and prototype food, roasted sweet potato roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, carrot kiss fish porridge, scallion pancake roast chicken, boiled eggs, up to four kinds of fruit, plus milk tea orange juice and coffee series.
Regardless of the building, garden planning, room layout and restaurant furnishings, they are all European style, and the environment is very clean. I saw the service staff finishing the garden and facilities for two days and one night.
It was my first time to take my cat out and I felt good.
HHank ChuangGreat hotel. I highly recommend everyone to stay when visiting Yilan. The environment is quiet, the housekeeper service is great, the hotel dog is super cute, the breakfast is delicious, a good place to relax, and a great place to stay.
AAnonymous UserThe staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bathroom drain was a little slow. The entrance is quite narrow, so drivers need to be careful when pulling in and out. There were already numerous scuff marks on the pillars, so they should consider installing protective padding on the pillars on both sides of the entrance to prevent guests' vehicles from getting scratched or damaged.
CClaudia xuanCame here once in a colder weather precovid. Facilities as good as I remembered, but coming in summer this time, I expected more cold suana pool then hot ones. Unfortunately that's not the case.
The hotel is decent but might need some upgrading (it looked the same over the years but somethings looked abit worn out/rusty). We came in group of 10 (5 rooms) and one room has bed bug..
Decent spread for the buffet breakfast. Close to train station and with many food options around!

PPizza-boyI recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight was definitely the playful slide right in our bedroom—what a fun and unexpected touch! The kids had a blast and made our stay feel even more special.
Outside, the play pool was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We enjoyed splashing around and lounging in the sun. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, making it an ideal place to kick back after a day of exploring.
One of the best parts of our stay was the delicious ********* food served at the B&B. Each meal was bursting with flavor, showcasing authentic dishes that satisfied our cravings. I highly recommend trying their rice rolls and congee —they were simply delightful!
Overall, this bed and breakfast offers a wonderful blend of fun activities and fantastic food. Whether you're visiting with family or looking for a unique getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back for more sliding and savoring!

HHsiao 1996I think if the bathhouse is outdoors, the towel rack could be moved indoors.
Because there are geckos on it when I use it. I'm not afraid, but my girlfriend is.
It's okay, but if other guests see it, they'll definitely complain a lot, because having it outside will inevitably attract some attention.
Just a small suggestion.

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.
