Das Stay Hotel ist eine Preiswerte Alternative um in Essen zu übernachten. Zum Bahnhof und zur Stadtmitte mit seinen vielen Restaurants und Bars sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Sauberes Zimmer ausgestattet mit Flach TV, Klimaanlage, Wasserkocher mit kostenlosen Kaffee und Tee Angebot. MANKO: Leider gibt es keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Und auch das Boxspringbett ist gewöhnungsbedürftig!! ( Sehr weiche Matratze). Das kleine Bad hat nur eine Milchglastür zum zuschieben, so muss man sehr vertraut miteinander sein muss. Sehr lobenswert ist allerdings das Frühstücksbuffet!!! Es fehlt so gut wie an nichts und auch der Kaffee ist Excelent. Auch das Personal sehr ist sehr freundlich so das man das Stay Hotel bedingungslos Weiterempfehlen kann.

The hotel in general reflected what I expected. A great ”Business Hotel” with good prices and quality in the average. Excellent welcome with very nice and fast staff at check-in. Very large underground parking at a fair cost. Very spacious (super) room with cleaning in the average. Windows that cannot be opened, but are indeed clearly and roundly written in the description of the rooms, and bathroom with windows, which, although not opened, gave natural light. Common spaces I found a little lumber, with the corridors where the lights light on the passage. Breakfast with buffet I would say just enough. Practicely only sweet bread and marble, cornets and yoghurt with cereals. Restaurant I didn't understand if there was no or if it was not available because he was engaged in wedding dinner. For the type of stay (two nights per commitment in the area) the hotel would also have gone more than well if it had not been for the wedding dinners above. Beyond the breakfast room there is a kind of great ceremony hall that both nights hosted weddings. I am stupid about the movement that was being created in the nearby square of the hotel, people smoking, with a walk and come on the front of the reception, but the most sad thing was the incivility of people. In the morning from the entrance of the underground parking to the entrance doors, it was a tape of cigarette mozzicons with glasses thrown into the flowerhouses and even abandoned shoes. I think that such events should be avoided or better managed.

The hotel is just a few minutes from the Philharmonie U-Bahn station or just a 15 minute walk from the main station and hence very nicely located. Were in this part of Germany on business, stayed here for one night. The hotel was chosen due to the availability of spa. The hotel has a swimming pool, sauna, steam cabin, solarium and gym, if you wish, you can arrange in advance for a time for a massage session. We were given a two-room suite for 3 people and a dog, and at first we booked a comfort room for 2 people, then our circumstances changed, another person and a dog were added. By the way, the hotel accepts dogs. On the phone we changed the booking to 3 and a dog. A two-room suite is essentially two separate rooms connected by a common door, one of which corresponds to the description of comfort, and the second room is a simple room. But even though there was only one kettle for 2 rooms, there was tea, coffee and sugar for 3 persons, the price of the room fully corresponded to the price of such a combi, that is, they didn’t charge us extra, from the side of a simple room there was even a bath, and not a shower cabin, as in Comfort room, in general we liked everything. The only negatives are the pillows are a bit thin, don't hold their shape, even 2 weren't too fluffy and the content of the minibar that was included in the price. In addition to 2 large bottles of mineral water, one of which is in each room, we had 4 bottles of drinks and all different. That is, there could be difficulties in their distribution. The hotel has 2 restaurants - one for breakfast, the other is open all day a la carte. For breakfast, a buffet, we included in the price, there was everything at breakfast, even melons, watermelons and pineapples, but not were only sausages and salmon. And the omelet was a bit dry. The rest is in full. There was also chicken ham, not to mention the numerous varieties of pork ham. Service is friendly. In general, we were satisfied with the breakfast. About the spa. The sauna seems a bit too hot at first, and the pool is cold, but then you get used to it. The pool is large enough and there is enough space for everyone, which is nice. Outside there are places for sunbathing. As for the design of the hotel, which is often criticized, I prefer no design or some old design than a modern, but inelegant and flashy design. In general, I liked everything in the hotel, I would stay on occasion for a couple more days to enjoy the pool and sauna.

The rooms are well furnished also a little away from the typical room. My room had separate toilet and shower, very pleasant.
