Find the Cheap Oviedo Hotels

I love the character of this hotel, its charm is special and the rooms have a class. This time I was disappointed by the continuous passage of people from a colloquium, the noise of the rolling plate of the room service and I had neighbors especially the second night when I heard everything: their discussion, their physical noise, their television. It was hell, and I realized I was in a larger room, a passage through a simple door communicated with the next room (109/107). The hotel has a very good location, and it is very good for you to find a good location. On the other hand my room was quiet, but without double glass, the goods passing the night made me a party! The restaurant Mil Cent is in the centre of the hotel, with a nice restaurant, good products, pleasant reception, excellent iberic jam, Dilmah tea. Céntrico, bien dispuesto, limpio y buenas instalaciones. El personal, tanto de recepción de día como de la cafetería a la hora de los desayunos, competente, atento, afable y eficiente. Buen conocedor de su cometido. Muy bien, también, el servicio de acondicionamiento de las habitaciones. Lo recomendaría a otras personas que desearan una estancia grata en la ciudad y un buen alojamiento.

This was a very classy hotel where we had a lovely comfortable room with excellent shower facilities. We didn’t use the bar, dining facilities or breakfast because we were worn out from our travelling the previous day and just wanted to get a rest. I’d recommend the city because it has a beautiful old town that is a short walk from the hotel. We happened to stay when the San Mateo festival was finishing so were able to enjoy some of the street music and activities that happened over the weekend.

The hotel is in a lovely period building. Many of the original features are well preserved and highlighted. The floors, the glass windows, the ceilings, the staircases - all very lovely. The location is hard to beat: on a beautiful quieter square, in close proximity to all the attractions but yet removed from the noise and din. The service was also excellent. There is a lovely art museum which is a must see, just steps from the hotel. I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel.

Upon arrival to our room, we noticed it was stuffy and proceeded to adjust the temperature only to find that the AC to all rooms was not turned on ”because it was not summer” according to the front desk clerk. We expressed our concern to the booking agent who immediately contacted the hotel with no response. On day 2, we stopped at the front desk again and were told to just open our window which we tried the night before resulting in loud street and pedestrian noise throughout the night. We asked for a fan and were told there were none. Again we contacted our booking agent after a sleepless night and again the hotel did not respond. on Day 2 we returned to the room to find the air on but at 10pm, the air was no longer active and the front desk indicated the air was automatically turned off at 10PM and he had no access to turn it on. The outside temperature had reached record highs in the 90's and we had another sleepless night. On day 3, we asked why the air was programmed to turn off at night and were told, ”that is how we do it here”!! The AC was programmed by management and we asked to speak to the manager and were told she would call us. We never received a call and acknowledgment during our stay. Day 3 and 4 the AC was programmed to run from 5P to 12MN. We checked out on Day 5 with no apologies or accommodation to our final bill.

The rooms are small but very sufficient for our needs. The bed was very comfortable. What I don't like is the lack of closure on the bathtub/showers as the little glass door always leaked and would cause water puddles on floor and although we would obviously dry the floor, then we couldn't reuse our towels and the floor was slippery for a time as there is no ventilation in the bathroom. Our air conditioner leaked the entire time so we had to keep the trash can at the door and also use towels to dry the floor. Front desk was informed and after 3 days it seemed they fixed it but then on our last night the leaking started again. Can't say this was a big deal other than the dripping noise and the use of trash can and extra towels but hated to see the wood floors being damaged. The electrical could use a little update but it again was sufficient. The room was always cleaned well and the staff was very nice and friendly. I can't speak on their morning buffet as we always went to the cafe on the corner but it did appear nice. This location is fabulous!! Easy walk to the park, shopping, all the old town area including cathedral. It's a great choice!

We booked this hotel due to its location not far from Real Oviedo football ground. We visited Oviedo for my son’s birthday and to go to football match. Room was triple deluxe room which was large enough for the 3 of us. Bathroom was large and more than adequate. Shower very powerful. Toiletries included, including toothpaste and toothbrushes. Beds were comfortable and wardrobe large enough for what we needed. Cafe in the hotel was nice and very reasonably priced. Staff in cafe and on reception were lovely Downside - air conditioning did not work in room and when I spoke to reception they said that it had been turned on - it seems that this is centrally controlled and even though we turned room temperature down to 16 and turned fan high, we could not get the air conditioning to work which meant the room was far too hot and I slept approx 8 hours over 3 nights due to the heat. Another issue was we were shocked to discover there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room - we have never been to a hotel that did not provide tea and coffee and we found this a huge let down

This hotel is located close to everything. There is a supermarket nearby, there are plenty of bars & restaurants nearby too. For me it was important to have the car parked somewhere nearby which was possible at a discounted price arranged by the hotel. The parking is located at about 2 minutes walking. We arrived late at night, outside business check in is possible. When checking out we got a free bottle of water, nice gift, thank you. Price/quality is 10/10 for this. Staff is friendly. Room is clean, clean towels and sheets and toiletries available. There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Excellent hotel, comfortable, functional and beautiful in the heart of Oviedo. About everything and with good connections to the motorways to Gijón and airport. Very recommended junior suites, with a small room attached to the room and desk to work.
