In addition, several stunning honey-coloured stone villages and National Trust houses of note (for which the Cotswolds is so famous) are only a few minutes' drive away.The cottage is located down a secluded path, just off a no-through road where there is free, safe parking. Beneath the famous "Halfpenny Bridge" lies the Riverside Restaurant which is a great place to watch for water birds, have a relaxing drink or meal or hire a boat for a trip up the river. Or perhaps why not come and enjoy a lovely Winter break whereby you can relax and cosy up to the log burner. Dancers Cottage is the perfect Rural Cotswold Retreat for family or friends to get away. Dancers Cottage is nestled between the beautiful Cotswold villages of Eastleach and Southrop. Both villages are only a 1/2 mile walk from the house and each have a fantastic pub! Lechlade is 4 miles away and offers watersports on the River Thames, walking on the Thames Path, then why not finish with tea & homemade cake at one of the Artisan coffee shops? Burford is 8 miles away and has the renowned Burford Garden Centre, Jeremy Clarkson's pub The Farmers Dog, Burford High Street and Cotswold Wildlife Park.
