"Room description old, dampness in rooms. Amenities I.e. playing area pool, table tenis, etc was chargeable. Food (did breakfast) average in taste. Work was going on in the hotel. Pool site was available incomplete where monkeys were bathing and drinking water from it.
Good things were silent corridor, central heating system (however it did fail for few hours during the stay). Separate heating system also provided in room, view from balcony was good."

"This is a premium property, set on the prime location with private access to the beautiful river. The hotel has comfortable rooms with good heating systems. We stayed in the river facing room and the experience was extremely pleasant. The property has a cafe (Cafe Wilo) as well as a Dining hall (Dilkush). The dinner and breakfast was very tasty with multicuisine food options. I would definitely recommend the hotel if you wish to have an exquisite stay near the river"

"Property is bang at the main market. This is an advantage. The view from the hotel is awesome. All the staff are courteous and pamper you. This is core for any hospitality industry. The rooms are nice and have a great view. Different categories. I got an upgrade and it was simply great. Food was nice. I opted for breakfast and dinner. When it is cold, it is good to eat dinner in the restaurant. There is a high tea in the evening ***** with snacks and kashmir special. The ambience of the hi tea lounge is simply awesome. Overall a great experience and i strongly recommend this hotel. No hotel is perfect and you may have some teething issues. The key is that they are resolved. This hotel at one time was frequently visited by the bollywood biggies. It is an old hotel and some may find it different."

"Location is good. It's near to the market on chandanwadi road. It also had a pure veg restaurant at ground floor.
Scope of improvement is that this property is not very well maintained. Washrooms have leakage, rooms are with low terrace and not much ventilation.
Also the service is not great
You won't find anyone at the reception till 8:30 AM with main gates looked."

"We had booked as a fall-back since our initially booked hotel The Walnut Tree refused to accommodate our dates and did not refund our money either. But we were pleasantly surprised with the standards and we got full value of money. Recommended surely."
