The Italian summer you are dreaming of! The hotel is located in the heart of Tuscany and you can visit a lot of great smaller and bigger towns within one hour by car. Talking about the hotel itself it offers an awesome combination of modern architecture combined with classic Italian design. The rooms are very big, super clean and modern. Pros: - Awesome design - Perfect service all over the hotel - Great pool area with a lot of space and a nice pool bar - Great breakfast with a well balanced combination of buffet and alla cart - Lovely dining experience with a large selection of wines - Good location in the heart of Tuscany - A lot of Italian guests creating a very local experience Cons: - NONE Arrival: 10/10 At the time of our arrival we were warmly welcomed and parking is free. Also the reception team directly asked about anything the can assist us with making our stay even more beautiful and creating an unique experience. Either you can choose from a lot of activities or ask the lovely service team to create you more unique fully customized experiences. Rooms: 10/10 The room was nicely prepared and has a perfect view. We are having an room on the first level (room 26) and can totally recommend it. Some large rooms also offering a terrace or balcony. Breakfast: 10/10 Perfect breakfast with a large selection of international and local dishes. The buffet serves a well balanced combination of fresh fruits, bread, nuts and varying local cakes. At the table you can offer a large selection of dishes and drinks like freshly made orange juice. Pool: 10/10 Large pool with a lot of space, overall not crowded with a lot of privacy due to the large area. Overall: 10/10 We are currently still staying at the hotel but this is definitely one of the best hotels we have ever visited. It creates a very luxurious local Italian feeling with perfect service. This hotel is definitely something you should not miss while visiting Tuscany! Thanks to the whole hotel team for creating such a unique experience! Lennart

The Italian summer you are dreaming of! The hotel is located in the heart of Tuscany and you can visit a lot of great smaller and bigger towns within one hour by car. Talking about the hotel itself it offers an awesome combination of modern architecture combined with classic Italian design. The rooms are very big, super clean and modern. Pros: - Awesome design - Perfect service all over the hotel - Great pool area with a lot of space and a nice pool bar - Great breakfast with a well balanced combination of buffet and alla cart - Lovely dining experience with a large selection of wines - Good location in the heart of Tuscany - A lot of Italian guests creating a very local experience Cons: - NONE Arrival: 10/10 At the time of our arrival we were warmly welcomed and parking is free. Also the reception team directly asked about anything the can assist us with making our stay even more beautiful and creating an unique experience. Either you can choose from a lot of activities or ask the lovely service team to create you more unique fully customized experiences. Rooms: 10/10 The room was nicely prepared and has a perfect view. We are having an room on the first level (room 26) and can totally recommend it. Some large rooms also offering a terrace or balcony. Breakfast: 10/10 Perfect breakfast with a large selection of international and local dishes. The buffet serves a well balanced combination of fresh fruits, bread, nuts and varying local cakes. At the table you can offer a large selection of dishes and drinks like freshly made orange juice. Pool: 10/10 Large pool with a lot of space, overall not crowded with a lot of privacy due to the large area. Overall: 10/10 We are currently still staying at the hotel but this is definitely one of the best hotels we have ever visited. It creates a very luxurious local Italian feeling with perfect service. A relatively old hotel that has most of the amenities that one might expect. The room is relatively clean. The door requires old-school key to enter (which is attached to a golf ball) so you might want to leave it behind at the hotel reception each time you head out if you do not have the pocket for it. Breakfast is the typical continental European stuff, so nothing exciting to write home about. You could always skip breakfast at the hotel and head to the old part of Prato for breakfast at a cafe instead. It is about 10-15 minutes walk. Having said that, the hotel breakfast is decent, so make your decision according to your personal requirement/preference. The main gripe I had was that the powerpoint in my room (not sure about other rooms) was of the smaller holes instead of the larger standard European holes. Those who have been around Italy would know what I'm talking about. Basically there is the old Italian powerpoint which look almost exactly the same as the current standard European powerpoint with the two round holes, except they are smaller than the current standard size. So keep this in mind.

Chiudendo le finestre, pur essendo al primo piano, non ho avvertito i rumori dalla strada e fortunatamente non ho avuto vicini chiassosi. Nel frigobar erano presenti un po' di bevande a costi accessibili. La COLAZIONE era essenziale per un 4 stelle. Salato: 3 tipi di affettati, uova strapazzate, wurstel, insalata e pomodori. GGuest UserA very tired hotel. The rooms are shabby, smoky, although I indicated a non-smoking room. Breakfast is a C grade. If it weren’t for the croissants, then you can safely give it a two. The cleaning leaves much to be desired, the dust in the room is not wiped off at all. I’ve been living in this hotel for several years now. -for the convenient location to the railway station.

GGuest UserI stayed in this hotel only one night, together with my family. Careful and available staff, the environment is clean and well maintained. We stayed in a four-room, wide and comfortable room. The occasion of my stay was not for tourist reasons, but the location is good for those who wanted to visit the surroundings of Florence (a close to the medic Villa of Poggio in Caiano) and the Florentine hills.

San Marco is a delightful family style hotel. Greeted pleasantly throughout our 5 day stay. Breakfast was delicious. Rooftop terrace for a glass of wine at sunset. The hotel and our accommodations were super clean. Would not hesitate to recommend

GGuest UserChiamo l'hotel nel giorno 21 maggio chiedo informazioni e prenoto una stanza ,richiamo l'hotel per la conferma mi dicono prenotato e che il costo era di 45 euro a notte e di venire in hotel entro le 22 per il check in . Li richiamo il giorno del check in per dirlo che alle 22 ero in hotel ,mi risponde l'operatore con veemenza ,arroganza e maleducazione e mi dice che non risulta nessuna prenotazione mi riattacca il telefono ,al che io richiamo l'hotel toscana dopo pochi minuti per chiedere spiegazioni (visto che la prenotazione era stata effettuata e che l'operatore mi aveva detto dettagli quali prezzo tipo di stanza e orario check in ) nel l'ultima chiamata mi risponde sempre il solito operatore al che gli ridico della mia prenotazione con tutti i dettagli ,sapete lui cosa fa ? Mi riattacca il telefono in faccia assurdo..... Chiudo dicendo a tutte le persone che vedranno questa recensione di non prenotare mai in questo albergo . Chiudo scrivendo una parola e solo una . VERGOGNA ...........
