Business focused hotel but we stayed on a holiday and was great. Easy arrival, easy parking, quick check in and check out and clean and large rooms. Even though outside the historic center it was only a 10 minute walk. Great option to avoid the higher priced and much lower quality hotels in the center.

The hotel and the rooms are in an old-fashioned style. Very nice to look at My room on the 3rd floor was rather dark, only 4 small windows and one in the ceiling. The bathroom was quite small, but it had everything (small shower, toilet, bidet, basin). Breakfast was in a buffet style, quite okay. The people at the reception were mostly friendly, at least one of them hardly spoke and understood English (should not happen in a 4star hotel)

Our flight to Frankfurt was cancelled, so we were given a room at Hotel Remilia for 2 nights. I have to say we loved the hotel and all staff there, they made us feel welcome and would bend over backwards for us. Sophie on reception was excellent, making sure we were comfortable and had anything we needed. Katryna was also excellent, she was so extremely helpful and very friendly. Simone was also excellent taking care of us throughout our meal. There were another 3 ladies who I'm sorry to say I did not get their names, I'm so sorry to you all, you were also excellent. Everyone made sure my wife's Lactise Intolerance was taken care of. I did get to try the hone made trifle, it's the very very best I've ever eaten!!! Francesco was amazing to help us make sure our flight went ahead From the bottom of our humble hearts, thank you to everyone for taking such good care of us. It's been such an amazing and pleasurable experience!! Best wishes to everyone Steve & Teresa 💚🤍❤️

Hotel Posta is simply the most beautiful, memorable and magical hotel I’ve stayed in, anywhere in the world. What makes it special? It could be its history, perfect central location, the amazing breakfast, beautiful atmosphere….but actually it’s the staff. From reception (thanks especially to Stefania and Frederika), the breakfast room ladies, the wonderful housekeeping staff, the bar/restaurant staff each - every person in the Hotel Posta team were lovely and helpful. I had the pleasure of staying here for 9 nights, in a single room then a superior double room. All rooms are gorgeous and characterful. This is my second stay at Hotel Posta and I would only stay here in beautiful Reggio Emilia. I cannot wait to return, though it’s a long way from Australia!
Had a one night stay here on business. On-site parking was availabe with plenty of spaces for the capacity of the hotel. Check-in was OK, had a short wait as there was only one member of staff checking people in and it was just after the working day so there was a number of people queing when I arrived. All hotel features/ammenities were explained during the check in process. Room was a standard Holiday Inn room with a large bed, small working area and large bathroom. I'm unsure if it was just my room or if all rooms had disabled access/support facilities around the room (such as low handrails etc). One issue was there was a single light in the bathroom that wouldn't turn off - unsure if this is a safety feature but with the door being part glass, it meant there was always an element of light in the room, even when trying to sleep. The walls/door also didn't offer very good soundproofing so I could hear everything going on in the corridor and surrounding rooms which meant that I didn't have a great nights sleep. The Wi-Fi was suitable for streaming, however I didn't test any business features but I would assume it would work well enough for those too. Overall an OK stay for one night - however I would have likely looked to move if I was in the area longer due to the lack of sound-proofing.
Mercure is a chain hotel!
This time I stayed at this hotel in the town of Reggio! This is my third stay! The location of the hotel is located in the central part of the town, a 2-minute walk from the city hall square, and a 3-4 minute walk to the central street of the town!
The hotel is not very big, but the various designs are relatively complete, including bathrobes, safes, refrigerators, etc. The front desk staff are foreigners, but they can communicate in English! The hotel provides quick breakfast and buffet breakfast, the prices are 6 euros and 12 euros respectively. Electric plugs in Italy are different from those in China. If you forget to bring them, you can rent them at the front desk of the hotel for 5 euros!
The hotel recommends booking a balcony room, a small balcony to see the scenery of the park below, a small straight road is covered with fallen leaves in the evening of November this season, the scenery is quite good!
Compared with the previous two years, the hotel has done a simple decoration and has a bathtub! But the hotel does not provide disposable toiletries, so you must remember to bring your own! The balcony door is connected to the hotel air conditioner. When the door is opened, the air conditioner will automatically turn off! The service staff will fold your pajamas neatly and put them neatly when tidying up the room!
The only downside is that the hotel elevator is too small! Two people who are slightly fatter are very crowded with two boxes, maybe Italy is like this.
The traffic here is very convenient! It takes more than 2 hours to drive to Milan, Venice, Themall's outlets and other places! There are also railway stations and hotels in the town for about half an hour's walk!
