Find the Cheap Rometta Marea Hotels

This was awful! It's inaccurately rated and is NOT a B&B and there is NO restaurant. Yet, they claim to have amenities and over charged an outrageous 4* room rate per night but provided no food or dining services, or accommodations. And, worst of all, without my authorization or knowledge, they charged my credit card the full amount of our reservation the day after we had arrived and then refused to refund the money so we couldn't leave and were stuck there. They do not have the amenities or provide services listed on their website, and photos posted are from years ago. Those accommodations DID NOT EXIST and WERE NOT AVAILABLE. It is ”false advertisement” and is not an accurate depiction of what actually existed. Here is a list of “lack” of amenities: There was NO TELEPHONE Service and NO working phones in any of the rooms which is a safety hazard. There is NO RESTAURANT; NO wait-staff; NO dining room; NO room service; NO SPA; NO GYM; NO business center; NO balcony or lounge chairs in the rooms; NO outdoor seating, terrace or garden area; mini frig DID NOT WORK; NO water/soda in the mini frig; NO ice machine; NO laundry or dry-cleaning service. The exterior building was dirty, dark, dingy and dilapidated; NO lights on the building at night; NO lighted marquis; the property grounds are un-kept and unappealing; NO manicured landscaping; it's in a deserted area off of a 2-way street; NO accommodations to access the beach; NO activities or entertainment offerings; the lobby had 2 sofas and rooms, beds, TVs and shower stalls were small; they had a few dining tables/chairs in their lobby; NO TV in the lobby; and they had a ”cold” set up of a few items for their breakfast-NO hot breakfast, NO fresh fruit, NO brioche, minimum selection of items to choose from, many were packaged crackers, a tort or cake, and they charged 2.50 euro for cappuccinos, which weren't even hot or prepared correctly! And many other people were complaining to staff and at the front desk while we were there. Completely incompetent management and the owner and manager are inept, rude, unprofessional and were not available to discuss all these problems at their hotel. It was supposed to be a special family vacation for our senior citizen parents but instead was an awful experience for our family!

Conosco questo Hotel da vari anni e l'ho frequentato, sia per lavoro, sia per vacanza. Non posso che parlarne più che bene, non posso non dire che è superiore a tante altre esperienze a 4 Stelle in giro per l'Italia, non posso non dire che quello che si vede dalle stanze fronte mare, come paesaggi e come tramonti (e come albe: è l'unico posto che conosco nel quale si vede, sia l'alba, sia il tramonto sul mare), è qualcosa di unico, non posso non dire che le stanze sono appartamenti con tutto e con una coibentazione fantastica, non posso non dire che il Personale è tutto unico per gentilezza e cortesia e, infine, non posso non dire che razza di pulizia si trova, a prova di Barbieri. Tutto questo, tutto, ripetuto sempre in tutte le occasioni e in tutti gli anni di frequentazione. Non c'è il ristorante interno, quindi non ci sono trattamenti di mezza o pensione intera ma è l'ultimo dei problemi, lì dove si trova. In sintesi, è uno dei posti che consiglio più di tutti, in cui mi sento veramente accolto come se fossi a casa mia, e vi invito a provare la stessa sensazione senza timore di essere smentito.
