Location is only a few minutes walk from the main pub street area but it's also a situated in a quiet area. Very friendly staff always with a smile on their faces. Rooms are big. Overall a very happy stay.

Originally said that there was breakfast, but it was actually closed due to the epidemic, and the refund has been properly resolved through the help of Ctrip customer service. The windows in the room are large, the lighting is good, and there are no mosquitoes. Although facing the street, it is actually very quiet. TV is not available as breakfast, for unknown reasons, because language communication is not clear.

Hotel staff was very friendly with a great variety of breakfast options. Location was within walking distance to the night market and old market area with lots of food and shopping choices. Room was clean and private. Booking tours through the hotel is easy and affordable. Highly recommend for any traveler.

The hotel is a bit off of the beaten path but still a tuk-tuk ride away from pub street and the night markets. The hotel is a good value for the price. It was pretty clean considering the area. The staff were helpful and attentive. Our room was nice and spacious. There was a nice pool. Breakfast was good with a variety of options including cook to order items. I found the hotel a tad dusty which is common in the area and not really the fault of the hotel itself. The staff managed the dust issue better than others in the area. I would suggest that in the wake of current health concerns, disinfectant is used when clearing the breakfast tables and preparing the space for the next person. If I return to Cambodia, I would consider this hotel again.

A really nice, clean, elegant hotel. The pool is well-kept, the room was lovely, & the breakfast was very good. The male manager on duty was rather rude, but the rest of the staff were exceedingly polite & friendly. Overall well-worth a stay here.

Exquisite, comfortable and top quality luxury small hotel. The location is a bit far from the city center, but Siem Reap is very small, so it is actually 10-15 minutes to get to the city center by tutuk. I chose this place because I like to be quiet and come to the Angkor Marathon. The surrounding areas are all residential areas, which will look very run-down, but walking into the hotel gate is another world. The bedding was particularly satisfactory, the bed was large, clean and comfortable. Good luck, upgraded the big room by the pool and really enjoyed it. There are not many rooms in the hotel so the waiters take care of every guest. Breakfast is a la carte, it feels much better than buffet breakfast, taste and quality are very good, I feel like eating a big meal in the morning. The waiter's English is very good, and the attitude is enthusiastic and modest. During my stay in the hotel, I had dinner, laundry, swimming pool, and spa services. Impeccable. It is very suitable for rest, and guests who like quiet and more private space, but if you want to go out at night, you have to ask the hotel for help. The leaving manager and your dedicated waiter will take you to the door to say goodbye, very warm. Will have the opportunity to come here again and recommend to friends. But oh, the only minor regret is that we have been treated as Taiwanese or Hong Kong guests. We have corrected it twice. Unfortunately, our lovely waiter has not remembered it, but it will not affect the overall impression of the hotel ~ see you next time.

The living environment is very good. There is a pick-up service. The pick-up email sent when I came did not respond. Of course, no pick-up was arranged. Pick us up! I was a little unhappy at the time, but we had no difficulty in communicating in Chinese, and the anger was gone! 😀😀Although the breakfast is not too rich, the nutrition is still sufficient! The traffic is very convenient, it is very close to the bar street and the old market, very convenient! Due to the late flight, a late check-out service was also given! Overall very good, Cambodian people are friendly, kind and kind! Thank you!

I have just come back from experiencing a super holiday staying at the Grange. The staff and the General Manager Dom offered an excellent individual friendly service and I felt that all the staff were just excellent. Dom goes ”the extra mile” to make your holiday so special, in fact I was supposed to stay for one week, however as I felt so comfortable and relaxed I remained there for the entirety of my 3 week holiday. This did not stop me from exploring Cambodia and I was able to visit the historical sites, visit the markets etc making use of their patient and English speaking Cambodian driver who was there at hand for every trip. I stayed in the family room which was very luxurious with its own private terrace and plunge pool. The hotel in itself is very clean with supplies of towels with a beautiful well kept swimming pool for lounging around and ”cooling off”. The food was outstanding which included vegetarian (often designed for your taste) and gluten free options with fresh juices and delicious fruit plates on offer. The staff are happy to organise the spa visits where the transportation there and back to said spa is free. All of which each massage and treatment is completed by experienced staff at amazingly low prices. The Grange is merely a 20 min walk or a 5 minute tuk tuk ride into Pub St so its close to everything yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. I have been informed that the owner has contributed to local charities including supporting and helping build a primary school and I noted that he ”cares for his staff”. I would like to thank Dom and all the wonderful staff especially Sofis (who brought the sunshine in his pocket every day), and Leehaw for all their incredible hospitality and helping to make me feel welcome and part of their community. Tell you what, I was easily blown away by arriving at Siam Reap lethargically awaiting to sleep at some generically named hotel. Never would I expect that this ”Smiling Hotel” was, in fact, a metropolis of accommodation. With hundreds of rooms, the vacancy is almost always certain. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, truly made sure that I was enjoying my time at Smiling Hotel. The rooms in question are jaw-dropping, with constant room service, interface, TV, mini-fridge, daily water bottles, AC, bath, and shower. This is complemented by either a view of the two enormous pools within or a beautiful view of Siam Reap, especially at night! One downside, however, is the internet connection, which is very sluggish and derails my downtime here a tad bit. Still, I needn't use the internet with so much to offer. I forget that this hotel has a gym, massage place, nail salon and did I mention two pools? If I could summarize this entire hotel by one word/phrase it would be: over the top. This place goes 120% to make sure you have a good stay, and it is not even necessary, as even without some components such as quality food I would still enjoy my stay here. Possibilities are endless here at Smiling Hotel, and if I choose to return to Siam Reap this would be my go to.
