"Absolutely loved this hotel! The natural environment here is fantastic. It's just a 10-15 minute drive from Tissa Lake. I arrived in the morning to the peaceful sounds of crickets and frogs. It was also a full moon that night, which made the scenery even more stunning. The swimming pool is impressively large too. I stayed on the ground floor, which meant I could step right out onto the lawn from my room. The hotel offers great value for money; the prices are reasonable and the rooms are quite spacious. It's noticeably cheaper than hotels situated closer to Yala National Park. I highly recommend booking the breakfast and dinner package. There aren't many other dining options nearby, and more importantly, the buffet is absolutely delicious!!! They offer a great variety of Western dishes, incredibly sweet fruits, and even sushi, making it very suitable for the Chinese palate. For our morning safari, we requested a packed meal from the hotel. It was incredibly generous, including water, various drinks, juice, sandwiches, and cake – truly more than we could finish! Upon our return, breakfast was still ongoing. I explained to a staff member that I was feeling quite hot and asked if I could get a drink. She was very accommodating, assuring me it was absolutely fine, but did clarify that since we had taken a packed breakfast, we wouldn't be able to have another full meal in the dining area."

"Takeaway breakfast was an option, but it was absolutely dreadful and practically inedible; we barely touched it. I'd strongly suggest skipping breakfast when booking; the room would be cheaper, and it's better to just grab something to eat yourself. The shower was also a letdown. It was a fixed overhead shower, making it impossible to wash without soaking your hair, and the water got progressively colder as I showered."

"It was average, nothing good or bad. It happened to be New Year's Eve when we arrived here. We met a tour group celebrating New Year's Eve, so we asked the hotel to order a cake. From the side, the service was quite attentive. The response time when we asked for an extra blanket was normal. The price of the food was also consistent with the quality. "We were staying in My Village as we wanted to experience safari (by third party) at Yala National Park. The area is a little more secluded but split into two sides where we put up at the rooms next to the pool. As it was raining every day whilst we stayed there, we didn't get a chance to swim but it looked great for cooling down. Our room was clean and great value. However what surprised us was the quality of food for dinner as it was prepared fresh upon order. Also enjoyed the packed breakfast they prepared for our safari. Only comment would be the number of insects and mosquitoes, but mosquito coils can be requested. Over all, a pleasant stay with efficient service and AC."

"The experience of living within the national park was incredible. The accommodation was very comfortable and we enjoyed seeing crocodiles from the viewing deck within the hotel premises - one of a kind experience!"

"Nice place for relaxing for couple days. It has big and nice pool. The pool guard (Dilash) is just amazing. He is always there to help you with everything. I hope the hotell will upgrade him. The woman in reception is aweful, she seems to be always tierd, and she never smiled, The hotel should change receptionist. We drove with our tuktuk to The hotel wich was very difficult, so dont do that!! Breakfast was ok but nothing more. There is a nice bar with a god service. Hotel rooms are little bit old."
