"Hotel is centrally located in city centre and conveniently connected to surrounding attractions and eateries by foot or by transport. Services by Hotel staffs and crews are good and warm. Rooms are proportionately large and comfy & well maintained. TV reception is hopeless though. Breakfast spread is not satisfactory. Not much choices and taste is bland. I would suggest not to purchase rooms with breakfast package and use this savings to purchase tastier and more cost effective breakfast from any eateries from shops near the hotel... You're welcome. Parking is also a headache during peak periods... Not only is the fact that the parking is uncovered, whatever parking spaces that is available is very limited. Other than that, overall, this hotel provides good value for money accommodation and services. Oh yes, the main lobby is soo spacious and soothing place."

"Toilet (lobby level) was filthy. There was no air-conditioner at the lobby nor at Lengkuas restaurant, was informed it has been in that state for a while. Breakfast was good, variety of local delights. Outside eateries are plentiful and Tesco is just across the street. Location is convenient for food hunters and business travellers. View was superb from 14th floor. My room was ok, but my colleague next door had to change her room at midnite due to water leakage and smelly carpet. Overall, the hotel need an upkeep."

"Everything about the hotel is good.. friendly and easy check in. But..my only concern is that the bedsheet was not as clean as I hope. It look unwashed. Since I'm a frequent traveller, I know how a clean bedsheet feel and smell. Other than that, if you're not as particular as I am, you would love this place. There's a mamak place, Zus Coffee, Guardian, Bask Bear, Mixue just downstairs."

"Strategic location and it was within walking distance to Aman Central Shopping mall. Hotel equipped with basic amenities (forgot to bring my toothbrush and toothpaste and it was provided upon request - but not comb 😔). Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Aircond in room was on good condition."

"Stayed at The Jerai Hotel Alor Setar recently and overall it was a good experience. The staff were really friendly and we got a welcome drink when checking in, which was a nice touch after traveling. The location is great, right in the middle of town, so it’s easy to get around and find food or places to visit. The room was clean, which I really appreciated. It’s a bit on the small side, and the lift is quite tight too, but manageable if you’re not carrying too much. Breakfast was okay – not amazing, but enough to start the day. Parking is available, which is super convenient if you're driving. One thing to note: there aren’t any facilities like a swimming pool or gym, so it’s more for a simple, no-frills kind of stay. All in all, it’s a clean, comfortable place with good service and a great location. Would recommend for short stays or business trips!"

"I had a good stay, the hotel is located at Tandop commercial area and there were plenty of food outlets and a mamak restaurant within walking distance. Parking was available and 24 hr security."

"Value for money, strategic location within less than 5 to mins drive to the Alor Setar city centre. Warm service at the receptionist. The only thing I would ask would be to replace the toilet bowl cover, that will be awesome"
