Great
小小李飞蕉I chose this hotel because the rooms are quite spacious and there's ample parking. The only minor inconvenience is that if you're coming and going during school dismissal times, you'll need a little extra patience. The front desk service was also very good; every time we passed by, we'd exchange glances and get a big smile 😊
HHabbyVery hard to get a clean hotel in alor star, this is one of clean hotel in town. im very satisfied with the environment and cleanliness. there is alot food downstair included the famous cafe. Just that it not suitable for those who are light sleeper. the soundproof abit terrible. And the water heater abit slow to get hot water. others was fine.
NNOR HAZWANI BINTI AZMANWe had a wonderful stay at Star City Hotel for Hari Raya! As always, we look forward to staying here whenever we visit our hometown. The hotel is comfortable, convenient, and the staff are friendly. This time, our studio was very close to the air-conditioning compressor, which was quite loud – as a light sleeper, it made sleeping a bit difficult. We did request a room change, but due to the busy Raya period, no rooms were available, which we completely understand. Overall, still a great experience and we will definitely return!
AA.HasifGreat location! A minute away from Lotus and Grand Alora Hotel. 7 eleven store is right next door with few eateries nearby. Suitable for up to 2 nights stay.
GGuest UserNice hotel near Pekan Rabu. Has breakfast buffet, but quite basic. There is a big and comfortable lobby, with welcoming coffee and some biscuits.
There’s also a Alor Setar foodcourt right behind the hotel for more breakfast options, if you didnt opt for the hotel breaskfast.
Room is dated, of average size with no balcony, twin room is bigger than double room. We didnt have a proper wardrobe in our room, only an open space next to the TV, to hang our clothes. The bed is ok, not too soft, pillows are quite comfortable; while the towels are not very thick/plush.
A good choice if you wish to walk around to explore Alor Setar town. We walked all the way to the Masjid/Dataran Alor Setar in the morning when it wasnt too hot.
Bathroom is quite dated, there was an issue with the drainage when we were there.
JJuan Luis CintasOkay for the price, big room, but old facilities.
The room had some hairs when I arrived.
Inside it has a sports centre which includes a swimming pool you can use but you need to wear a swimming hat, which you can rent there for 3 ringgit.
GGuest UserIt was raining heavily and my room was leaking. What's more, the soundproofing was very poor. The noise from the cars and motorcycles on the road made me sleep poorly for almost the whole night. But the rest was pretty good.
KKeodihetseng PortiaThe owner is really accommodating and kind. I overstayed by two hours and he only charged me 20RM. He was helpful with finding places around. The hotel is okay for the price, nothing fancy. It does have an air con, tv, towels and body soap. I’d suggest you bring your own toilet paper and toiletries. Good for overnight stay. The WiFi is excellent. There’s a big mall nearby, you can walk or take a Grab. Thank you.
AAnonymous UserThe staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.
