"I had the opportunity to stay at Zenith Kuantan, and overall, it offers a comfortable and pleasant experience suitable for all types of travellers, especially families. 🧼 Cleanliness – 4/5 (Good) The rooms and hotel areas are well-maintained, clean, and tidy. Although there is some room for minor improvements, the overall cleanliness standard is still solid and comfortable. 📍 Location – 5/5 (Excellent) The hotel’s location is its biggest strength. Situated in a strategic area close to the city centre, shopping malls, and plenty of dining options, it’s perfect for guests who want easy access to various attractions and amenities. 👨💼 Service – 4/5 (Good) The hotel staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth. While response times could be slightly improved, the overall service quality is good and satisfactory. 🏊♂️ Amenities – 4/5 (Good) The facilities—including the swimming pool, gym, and other amenities—are in good condition and well-maintained. Families will appreciate the available features. Still, there is some potential for upgrades to enhance the overall experience. ⸻ 🎯 Overall Verdict Zenith Kuantan is a solid hotel choice with an excellent location, good service, and a clean, comfortable environment. "This was our second stay at the hotel, and the experience was just okay. The kids’ pool and city view were nice, but the service was poor. We had a frightening experience when we were stuck in the lift for 25–30 minutes. The lift seems old and not well maintained. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and ensures guest safety so others do not face the same situation. We also requested a small anniversary gesture—a heart towel design on the bed—a week before check-in, but it was not arranged due to a lack of staff. This was disappointing, as the request was made well in advance."

"The room was clean and the location is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, though the taste was just average. Overall, it’s a nice place for quality time and you can definitely spend the whole day at the hotel."

"The hotel feels a bit dated, and some areas could definitely use better upkeep. The room showed signs of age, and cleanliness was inconsistent, with clutter and worn furniture noticeable in common areas. That said, it was still acceptable for a short stay. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and basic amenities were available and functioning. Staff were polite and helpful when approached, which made the experience smoother. While it’s not a place that stands out for comfort or modern design, it does provide what you need at a basic level. With some improvements in maintenance and housekeeping, it could be much better. Overall, it’s an okay option if you’re not too picky and mainly need a place to rest."

"Great location which is in the center of Kuantan town, with hotel private free parking which is safer than parking at the road side. The room comes with a working table which is so convenient when you need to work during the trip. The bathroom is big and the water pressure is strong. Unfortunately the air-conditioning is so loud even though we adjusted it to auto mode."

"Positives - Fast check in & out process - 24/7 gym access - Surau is available - Excellent breakfast* - Strategic location - Decent swimming pool *I've been to many hotels, from basic to super luxurious & it's hard to find any that serve a decent Nasi Lemak but here (although not great) still i'd say is the best among other hotels that i've stayed at previously Negative - Just one. The qibla direction within the room is hidden. If any muslim guests are wondering where it is, it's in the drawer at the door where the laundry bag & stuffs are at (this is the first time EVER that i find it situated at such an awkward place 😆) This seems trivial but please consider putting it where it's easily visible (like the rest of the hotels). Because i've spent quite some time searching for it, only to find it when i was already about to check out from the hotel. Luckily i prayed at the surau during my stay. Overall 9/10"

"Checked in smooth,easy parking,eventhough not 5 star hotel the service is excellent,from breakfast to room service. We had family dinner at Aura restaurant and the food was delicious. Close to local attraction,hotel not crowded and food is cheap! Will definitely repeat"

"I stayed 1 night at Grand Darul Makmur Hotel Kuantan during a business trip. The hotel and room size are quite spacious, which was comfortable. The room does look a little old, but overall still fine for a short stay. Breakfast buffet starts at 7am with plenty of food choices, though the taste was just average. By the way, even if you book and pay through Trip.com, you’ll still need to pay a small tax directly to the hotel — in my case, it was RM3. Overall, a decent stay for business purposes."
