"We decided to stay near Mount Austin because we enjoy the nightlife there, and in the morning we could easily have wanton mee for breakfast. However, it was very difficult to find a decent hotel in the area. The hotel is located between Mount Austin and IKEA. Although both places are accessible by cab, it is not walkable, which makes the location quite inconvenient. We booked two single rooms for $60, with a RM100 deposit for both rooms. The rooms were extremely small—we couldn’t even open our cabin-sized luggage properly. The bed was very uncomfortable; we could clearly feel the springs. To make things worse, the walls were very thin, and we could hear voices and people walking outside clearly. Overall, we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again."

"Unit #28-05 1. Wifi didnt worked throughout whole stay, No Resolution so requested for compensation, owner no respond 2. Since Wifi didnt worked, tried watch TV, also not working 3. Air-Con smelt so bad, Only used the fan, Didnt stay in apartment much 4. Using fan only mattress had issues too, the smell lingered on mattress too 😪 5. Master bedroom’s 🚿 area kept on flooding even though open drain cover 6. Sofa was very uncomfortable cos no more cushion, literally can feel the metal below the cushion It is a unit issue, stayed other units before is 👌🏻 Mgnt/Service needs improvement as Wifi is not a small concern"

"Popped over to Johor for an impromptu trip and ended up staying at KSL Hot Spring Resort. Overall, a very positive experience. • Cleanliness & Room: I’d rate the hygiene at 88% and above. The room was well-maintained, smelled fresh, and felt ”good enough” for a comfortable stay (not for view). Definitely worth the price paid. • Location: This hotel is best suited for those traveling by car. It is tucked away in a quieter spot, but very convenient to get to Tebrau and Mount Austin (lots of food and cafes nearby!). • Parking: A big plus for road trippers—parking lot is free for hotel guests. • 24hr front desk Service: The staff here are very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. If you have your own transport and want a clean, quiet, high-value place to stay near the Mount Austin/AEON Tebrau area, this is a solid choice. Will definitely consider coming back."

"The room was clean and spacious. I've stayed here many times. There are many Chinese restaurants nearby with great food, which is very convenient. Plus, there's a large supermarket on the first floor, perfect for picking up little gifts."

"The hotel is located in a quieter area of Taman Mount Austin, but it is still within walkable distance to places like Nanyang Street and other locations. The hotel is newly renovated, and their basic amenities are sufficient. For the price of S$40/night in 2025, this hotel is considered to be at the lower range, but it offers a very good standard of cleanliness, careful details, and the general comfort is assured!
