I had to contact the staff by phone and that was good.
Nice apartment in the centre.
Good price-quality ratio.
. 'At night, a little wake up from a group that came home loudly and later from the heat that was making a sticking sound.
Fine shower, small bathrooms, no hooks or chairs to hang up your clothes.

We are using this hotel for years for business purposes. It's a shame that level 1 and 2 rooms are so old and never been renovated for years. We usually stay in level 4 rooms, but not this time. The room on level 1 didn't have any air conditioning, and it was too hot to have a decent sleep even with opened window; and it was noisy as well... Mattress too soft (poor quality) that you end up with back pain. Breakfast quality is not the same as well. Orange juice dispenser was switched off one hour earlier before the breakfast finishes. Bacon was just not eatable... etc.

In between Christmas 2022 and The New Year of 2023.We went tried to think of something different !!!! So we went off for a couple of nights and stayed in this incredible hotel in the City Center of Groningen. It was just like turning the clock back to the times of Charles Dickens.....Try it if you get the chance!!!
Great staff, great location. Bikes for rent- about 30 minutes into the city. Open shower as soon as you enter room which I didn’t see the point of and shower floor became very slippery when soap or conditioner was used- be careful. Rooms lovely , bright and airy. We made the mistake of leaving windows open and I was bitten by mosquitoes all over my face so better to keep closed. Room service was efficient- food was ok. We had stayed at Ghent vdv the previous night so had high expectations- it wasn’t as good but it was ok. Breakfast was ok. The most important thing was that staff were amazing, couldn’t have been more helpful. Really enjoyed our time in Groningen and would stay again
We were very nicely welcomed. The hotel is located on the big market, centrally located. The room was stylishly furnished. Comfortable large beds. The bathroom was very large and equipped with shower and bathtub. A great television with German programs was also available. Breakfast buffet was very good and very priced for a hotel with 15.50!!! We will certainly come back and can recommend this hotel at 100%!

A great value for money hotel. Lots of free parking is a major plus, as was the good air conditioning, which was essential during the August heatwave. Good wifi. Breakfast choice limited. Bathroom cramped and only a single bed. Restaurant was serving a limited selection of bar meals. The hotel is located on an industrial estate about 3.5km from centre of town. One bus an hour into town, or an easy cycle. Lots of litter in the car park, which is unusual for the Netherlands (I would guess it was left by the significant number of English guests). The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful.
Our room was very and comfortable with good lighting, comfortable table and chairs, and complimentary coffee station. Staircases in The Netherlands are tight with small steps. Just recognize that this is normal and part of the experience. We had an honest mistake that occurred in room 30G. However management was very responsive to our concern and ensured that we were happy with our overall experience. Thank you for making this a very positive experience.
· Hotel Halbert are doing everything right to ensure that guests have an excellent stay. Every member of staff that we dealt with was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and happy to assist. Our arrival was 4 1/2 hours late which meant early hours of the morning arrival but we were given excellent directions and were met by the night porter. Our messages to the hotel were promptly replied to and informative. Two days of our stay we had an early start so would have missed breakfast but we were given very good 'breakfast bags to go' which we appreciated. The hotel breakfast is very good. The room was well-equipped and very generous in size. Disliked · Never thought that I'd ever write this in a review but actually there was nothing we didn't like and we would love to return to this beautiful city and Hotel Halbert

Groninger Museum
噼噼里啪啦[Groningen] I have been traveling westward for the past two weeks, proving that the earth is round, and now I am back to the original point. Recently, my art cells have been cancerous. The Netherlands is really a good place. There are so many things to visit, and Cantonese teahouses to eat. There are so many. I heard from my friends that there are several cool exhibitions in Rotterdam this weekend. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to go there. I’ll come back if I have the chance.
Martinitoren
舜舜舜丽丽The city center is very awakening destination, three euros tickets can enter the tower, inside is a very old spiral step, the tower overlooks the face of the old town. At the hour, there is a bell to report.
Northern Maritime Museum
雨雨田Those who are interested in the history of shipping and sailing can go and have a look. The collection is very rich. The facade is small and inconspicuous, and you will miss it if you are not careful. But the inside is not small. It consists of two small buildings and you can go up to the sixth floor. There is a projection room on the first floor, which loops the history of Groningen from the Middle Ages to the present. But it is in Dutch,
