"Love their hot pools and amenities. Location would be 5mins driving from city. If you have car would be very convenient, I don’t think you can walk to city with this distance."
"If you are not able to arrive at check-in time, you must contact us to receive instructions on how to get the key.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but the bathroom and shower were clean.
There was a family shower room, but there were no instructions on how to use it, so I couldn't use it. I could see pretty stars at night, and at night
I was able to rest comfortably because it was quiet. Parking was convenient because I could park right in front of the room."
"Not super close to the Richies/Intercity bus stop, but still within a 10-min walk. Room is a bit small, and the curtain on the bed had a stain. On the bright side, the public area facilities are great, the kitchen is big and well equipped. There’s also a supermarket nearby, which is probably the main convenience. For first-timers at Haka House, just a heads-up, the main door needs a password. If the receptionist doesn’t mention it, check your email or look around the wall for any info posted."
"An incredibly cozy room with a private bathroom, a refrigerator, a kettle, dishes, tea, and coffee! The room is very cozy, every detail has been thought through, and it's tastefully decorated. The bed is comfortable, heated, and the linens are spotless. There's a private terrace. The surrounding area is well-maintained. A very pleasant place; I wish I could stay longer! The check-in and check-out process was very quick and convenient!"
"Located on the main road of Wanaka, with petrol station around the corner and supermarket within 10 minutes walk. Although the room is a bit small, there are hooks behind doors and around the wardrobe. The only drawback is that there is no fridge inside the room."
"The location is really convenient, the staff is very friendly, and they can help you organize a map of free parking locations. Unfortunately, the kitchen is located in the basement, which is a bit inconvenient. Occasionally there are strange noises in the middle of the night, but you can't change rooms. 🥲🥲🥲"
"Hotel location is very convenient, the supermarket is next door, and it takes no minute to get to the city center.
The room has two heaters and one toilet, so it is not cold at night in winter.
The mattress, pillows, and towels are also very comfortable. The overall room is good, but the two tea cups are full of stains. I have to wash them twice before I dare to use them with washing detergent. Of course, the previous guest did not have the responsibility to wash them, but the staff was too negligent, too dirty!"
"Smooth checkin with very warm welcome greet. Everything works great and the small washing machine was free! I love the fact that salt and pepper is provided in the kitchenette made my cooking more complete. Great Location only 10 minutes walk to the beach and town centre , great vibe! Leisure centre is 5 minutes drive away with great swimming pool and jacuzzi."
"The hotel is very close to the town. After checking in, I walked 5 kilometers according to other people's guide. I couldn't find the observation deck to see the glaciers. I looked around and couldn't find any trace of the snow-capped mountains. Maybe it was because it was spring!"
"Very good. The location is also great. Lake Wanaka and the supermarket are within 10 minutes away. The owner is very nice and the hotel is very considerate. They used towels to cover our car windows at night to prevent ice. It was really considerate. The house also has everything you need. It is clean and tidy. I am really satisfied! When I opened the door in the morning, only the kitten came in and didn't leave to eat my burger. It was so interesting."
