Great
AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff were super friendly! ^_^ The location is really convenient, with food trucks just a 10-minute walk away. The room was well-equipped with both a fan and a heater, and the bathroom was great. I only stayed one night, but overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
HhyykkkFacilities: The kitchen is fully equipped, including a two-in-one hot pot and barbecue pot. Enjoy hot pot one day and barbecue the next, a delight.
Cleanliness: Very good, clean and hygienic, and a very comfortable stay.
Service: The check-in guy was very friendly and gave us some directions.
Environment: The hotel is right in front of Lake Wanaka, and a 5-minute walk to the commercial street full of food. It's also very close to the local supermarket, NEW WORLD. The walk along the lake to the loneliest tree takes about 25 minutes.
CCMWEParking space is very limited, stop opposite the hotel roadside, need to walk a long way, the bathroom in the room is hot when cold, the restaurant is not much dining, it is good to sit outdoor dining, thank you for being arranged to stay in the lower bunk, because it is very late to stay, overall it is OK
AatiqyahyaI booked this motel quite last minute but i'm glad they still have a unit available for us. we travelled in a group of 5 with my parents, so 2 bedroom is our minimum requirement, no starirs, and since we wanted to cook, having a kitchenette is also an important criteria, and Alpine Motel ticks all the boxes. The motel is very near to Lake Wanaka but we still drove there. Very convenient location and very comfortable. They have a laundry outside the room in case you are already in the middle of your trip and would need a laundry day. We went to the nearest supermarket to shop and cook dinner at the motel. You can park right in front of your unit, very convenient.
CcheuwwwThis independent studio room within the RV park is quite spacious, and while the soundproofing isn't great, it offers excellent value for money! The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary utensils, including salt and pepper, so you can easily cook your own dinner. It has a private toilet and shower, but only soap is provided, so you'll need to bring your own toiletries. The bed is quite comfortable. We visited in mid-May, and it was very cold, but there was an electric heater and two electric blankets, although one of them wasn't working. There are very few power outlets.
You can park your car right in front of the unit. There's a laundry room in another nearby area, costing 6 NZD per wash and 6 NZD for 60 minutes of drying. There's also a communal kitchen.
The location is right in the city center, with many restaurants nearby. It's very close to Wanaka Tree and the lake, both within walking distance.
GGuest UserThe room is big, the location is a bit remote, it takes 5-10 minutes to drive to the lakeside in the center of Wanaka. The facilities are a bit old. Although it is called a resort, it feels a bit like a motel
IiwwfyfliuIt is less than 5 minutes drive from the lonely tree, opposite the winery. There are many RVs parked on the lawn outside the room, which should be a place for RV rest. The bathroom in the room is relatively simple, there is no decent shelf for toiletries, and the cockroach can be placed on the ground.
