"The hotel is on the hillside, close to the lake and more than ten minutes downhill. We stayed for one night and did not use the hotel's public facilities. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Of course, the price was not low."

Guest UserEverything was great, especially waking up to the view of Lake Wanaka and the 'Lone Tree' across the lake. The autumn colors were vibrant and beautiful. If it were summer, there's even a swimming pool downstairs. I wish I could have stayed for a whole week! The room was spacious too. Perfect!

This room type is on the second floor of the hotel, and there's no elevator. Carrying several suitcases up the narrow external stairs was quite a challenge. Furthermore, there's construction next door, resulting in considerable dust and noise. It's not worth the price.

I spent a night at the Wanaka Adventure Hostel and I really enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is very comfortable, the hotel is clean, welcome and offers an excellent atmosphere.
I've also made very nice meetings with other travelers, which made this step even more pleasant.
I've spent a great time and I recommend this hostel to all those who are looking for a comfortable, warm and comfortable place in Wānaka.

cheuwwwThis independent studio room within the RV park is quite spacious, and while the soundproofing isn't great, it offers excellent value for money! The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary utensils, including salt and pepper, so you can easily cook your own dinner. It has a private toilet and shower, but only soap is provided, so you'll need to bring your own toiletries. The bed is quite comfortable. We visited in mid-May, and it was very cold, but there was an electric heater and two electric blankets, although one of them wasn't working. There are very few power outlets.
You can park your car right in front of the unit. There's a laundry room in another nearby area, costing 6 NZD per wash and 6 NZD for 60 minutes of drying. There's also a communal kitchen.
The location is right in the city center, with many restaurants nearby. It's very close to Wanaka Tree and the lake, both within walking distance.

50+叹世界I had a very enjoyable stay at Alpine Motel Wanaka.
The location is very convenient, just a short walk to Lake Wanaka, cafes, restaurants, and shops, which makes exploring the town easy without needing to drive. The area is also quiet, so it’s perfect for a relaxing stay.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with useful facilities like a kitchenette. Parking was easy, and the overall setup is very practical for both short and longer stays.
Overall, a great value stay with a good balance of comfort and location. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I arrived late and left my key on the lobby door. I checked in the next day. There are two floors, one upstairs and one downstairs. The lower one has a garage. It takes about ten minutes to drive to the tree in Wanaka.

It is less than 5 minutes drive from the lonely tree, opposite the winery. There are many RVs parked on the lawn outside the room, which should be a place for RV rest. The bathroom in the room is relatively simple, there is no decent shelf for toiletries, and the cockroach can be placed on the ground.
