"The location is great. Our room is very pleasant with free bottles of water bath robe provided. Our room is overlooking the Newtown beach. Need beach pass which is just a 5 min walk. Newtown beach and amenities are great with Bohemian theme. There are several convenient stores around. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is great. Thanks to the dining staff Mico who gave us an anniversary treat cake during our breakfast. Location is near to our place of worship you No floor towel provided and the small.towel is bi okt worn out no lotion provided. When we get there after our trip Hotel changed name to Mercure maybe thats the reason because it has a Belmont name on the towels Overall we enjoyed our stay and hotel is recommended.."

"Our second time stay at the Inn. Very prime location with access to mall. Friendly and accomodating staff. Breakfast is good with lots of choices. Excellent stay. Looking forward to another stay at the inn."

"My recent stay was overall a positive experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a good view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly during check-in and check-out. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Solea Mactan is far from the city but everything you need is in the hotel already. We loved how they value those families traveling because they have a play area for kids and kids at heart. There are also lots of swimming pools although I think the beach area could be better. They also have these freebies which we really appreciated. Breakfast was also good!"

"Hrmmm this one is a tricky one as we had a few unexplained situations. Firstly, the hotel itself was previously a Marriot 5-Star back in the day prior to be taken over in 2018 by the Seda Group. Secondly, there is so much ongoing renovation and construction that you need to be aware of; Noise coming from New Construction, the in hotel pool is unavailable from Feb-2025 and guests must walk across the street to another organisation's pool. Unfortunately this was a deal breaker for us. The food was average with cheaper and better tasting food located just minutes away by walking through the carpark. Overall the guest lounge (located on level 12) is a bonus but is super budget, not 4-Star Material. P.S. There is no rooftop bar, only a lounge overlooking a construction site. P.S.S The House of Lechon is 5 mins by Grab which is a plus."

"Room is small and compact, but the location is okay — conveniently near Robinsons Fuente. However, the soundproofing is really poor, so I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. Breakfast is à la carte with limited choices. Staff are friendly though."

"They were kind to accomodate me on my requests for assisting my family in the Philippines even just thru emails since i had problems with my flight cancellations and changed schedules. I felt ghey were flexible that made me feel im not speaking to a robot reading some rules and disclaimers but communicating to people with a heart and adjusting to assist me in my troubles with a third party where i made my hotel reservation"

"Super clean hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. I can’t understand the negative reviews about this hotel. The staff were always very attentive and reponded to any room issues promptly. The room cleaning was a bit hit and miss but the hotel was very busy over the Christmas holiday period so it was understandable."

"We had a wonderful stay at Costabella. Everyone was friendly. The pool and private beach were great. The only downside was the broken shower on the first day, but it was fixed quickly upon request. There were also some flying insects in the bathroom."

"Near to the airport. Around 15-20 minutes only. Service is so good as the staff willing to help me to decorate my room for my husband’s suprise birthday. Thanks to Mr Jed and team. I owe you for my good stay there. Overall, the food is acceptable, but the variety is limited. Additionally, the halal section is placed very close to the pork items, which is not appropriate and may be uncomfortable for Muslim travellers."
