"Calling this small hotel a B&B would be more accurate. Located on the banks of the Douro River, it boasts beautiful sunsets and night views. There's a free parking lot right across the street, saving on parking fees. A very nice restaurant (I forgot the name, but it's easy to find using Google Maps) is located in the riverside park to the right of the hotel. The food is good, great value, and the service staff are professional and nice; one of the young women has been studying Chinese for 10 years. There's an old-fashioned tram line right outside that goes directly to the city center attractions; of course, you can also take a taxi into the city. I have to complain about the breakfast – it's very simple, just enough to fill your stomach."
