"A Memorable Stay at Waldorf Astoria Lusail This was our first time staying at Waldorf Astoria Lusail, though we’ve also had the pleasure of experiencing the West Bay location, which we equally adore. As a family, we rarely revisit hotels, as we enjoy exploring new places, but when we do, it’s because the hotel holds a special place in our hearts. Waldorf Astoria Lusail is now firmly on that list, and we will definitely return. A Special Celebration Thank you for making my husband’s 50th birthday truly unforgettable. The complimentary cake was delicious and paired perfectly with the festive balloons—it was such a thoughtful touch! Food We thoroughly enjoyed our in-room dining experience. The Norwegian salmon and Omaha beef tenderloin were perfectly prepared, and the soup and dessert were delightful. The pricing was reasonable for the quality. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options, providing something for everyone. Room Our room was beautifully designed, featuring a bathtub, balcony, and a cozy side sitting area with tasteful décor. However, I did notice one minor inconvenience—there was no phone on the desk, only one near the bed, which meant I had to walk over to make calls. Staff The staff truly elevated our experience with their outstanding hospitality. Special thanks to Elizabeth for delivering the cake, and to Aung, Jul, and Mariam at the Bywater Restaurant for their attentive service. Jason at the pool and Bilmal and Ghem at the concierge area were equally amazing. The team’s warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression. A special shoutout to the kind lady who assisted us at the elevator—I wish I’d caught her name! Hotel Amenities We absolutely loved the hotel overall, but the highlight was the pool—it’s easily one of the best we’ve seen for families with children. The temperature-controlled feature was a bonus, and our little boy had an incredible time. The pool is likely the main reason we’ll be coming back, alongside the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Final Thoughts Waldorf Astoria Lusail is a perfect getaway for families, especially those with kids. We wholeheartedly recommend it and are already looking forward to our next visit."

"Dell boys were very friendly, Room was impeccable, cleaning staff and butler were impeccable. Location is not great, nothing around, promenade was boring. What ruined our stay was the rude behaviour of front desk staff called Marilu. She needs training in customer service. The interaction was very distasteful and dampened our mood. Pool was only outside, and freezing, nothing to do. There isn’t changing rooms for the pool, nor showers. View from pool was boring too. For the price you pay, it’s just the amenities in room to enjoy, which were great but nothing more. It’s been turned in to a tourist attraction with the afternoon tea etc, so very busy downstairs and not exclusive, like other raffles. Not even a jacuzzi or sauna/steam, but private rooms to enjoy to an hour at an extra cost. Which is fine, if you carried out that exclusive service throughout the hotel. Overall, came excited but left deflated."

"A magnificent hotel, with truly 5-star service. The breakfast was fabulous and offered a wide variety. Our room, featuring stunning views of both the city and the sea, was absolutely gorgeous. I wholeheartedly recommend it and would definitely come back."

"Excellent hotel in Doha. Huge, spacious rooms and easy access to the Place Vendome mall. The rooms have everything you need, perfect for families or work. I had my colleagues over and we planned some work in the living area and it really felt like a great 1 bedroom apartment! The only let down was that the breakfast was shockingly poor. The service was extremely slow and options weren’t great. I would highly recommend to cook your own breakfast or head to the mall for much better service. The tables in the breakfast/restaurant are all wobbly too."

"Excellent luxury hotel. Superb service. Very spacious rooms and apartments for long stays. Great facilities, include x3 pools, padel courts, gym and spa. Good location on front of Lusail, overlooking sea. Ideal location for the promenade and walking to the world class Place Vendome mall. 4 restaurant options. Chinese very good but on the pricier side. Overall food quality good but not outstanding. Highly recommend."

"In comparison to the 5 other premium hotels in Doha this was an absolute gem and excellent value ! The management was very accommodating for special requests and the staff was very friendly despite trying there best to navigate the sudden volume. But value for money is amazing.. i would however next time book a bigger room when asking for twin beds. I had a neck injury so waiting 3 hours for the neck pillow was a big let down. Again though everything else was big yes for us!"

The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of great options. The location was perfect, close to attractions and restaurants. I loved coming back to a comfortable, relaxing room after exploring the area. I highly recommend Le Royal Meridian Hotel for a great stay!"
