"I was very satisfied with this hotel. I was traveling alone and initially thought the room would be small, but it was actually quite large and very clean. The service was excellent, and there's an elevator!!! That's so important! The front desk staff were very welcoming, and there were many handsome male staff at the bar, haha. It's not far from the train station and Nevsky Prospekt, but I recommend turning left or right after exiting the hotel and taking bus 11, 7, or 5 to the Nevsky Prospekt bookstore to start your city walk. It's about a five-minute walk to the bus stop, and there are many breakfast shops and restaurants along the way, so you can grab breakfast before sightseeing. Remember to remind the front desk if you need your visa on arrival voucher. Overall, I really liked it, but the only downside was that there weren't many amenities, so you need to bring your own slippers and toiletries! The hotel is currently under renovation; just open the middle door, and the renovation isn't noisy and won't bother you."
"The hotel is an old 19th century house and is well maintained. After booking, you can add their WhatsApp to contact the front desk. We arrived around 10 pm, no one was on duty at the front desk, and we had to scan the code to get the password to get the room card. Because it is an old house, there has been no elevator, and the luggage needs to be carried upstairs. But there will be a concierge to help during the day, and the service is actually quite good. There are many coffee bars, pubs, restaurants downstairs in the hotel, and the atmosphere is very good. 200 meters next to the subway station of Line 6, it is very convenient to go out and take a taxi with Yanex Go to prepare change. Moscow people are also very enthusiastic and the experience is very good. Hotel health is also very good, one day in advance will make an appointment to clean the room the next day."
"The hotel is near the metro. Good breakfast. Two nights lived and took two breakfasts respectively, two days were a little different dishes. Good mattress.
From the downsides. The Internet works interruptions. If you just sit and look at pictures, you will most likely notice problems, and if you need to work a little bit and need a constant Internet, you won't work. As a result, we did not work, we had to take a holiday."
"Great hotel! Very close to the subway station, there are Line 2 and Line 7 to choose from! It is very convenient to go to the attractions very close to Red Square! The hotel is very beautiful and the breakfast is delicious! Although the room is small, it is just right to live alone. Everything is complete and intelligent. There is a supermarket next to the hotel. You can go to the nearby park in the morning to check out. You can also walk on the small road. Everywhere is beautiful and very popular!"
"Very excellent location on one of the main streets in Moscow that is well connected to several attractions. We stayed here several times. The only issue is with the Taxi parking not next to the building entrance which is a 2 minute walking (especially when booking a taxi to airport in addition to GPS signal issue currently). The pick up location is as follows:
Noviy Arbat Street, 11c1
Noviy Arbat Street, 11c1"
"The best view in Moscow (make sure to book a river view room)! Former luxuriousness has faded (no turndown service, no plush towels, no exclusive bath cosmetics) but still a very solid 5-star hotel in an unbeatable location for tourists, and excellent value for money. My biggest issue really was no coffee machine in the room:)"
"The space at this place is huge, and the ambiance is really great. The whole experience was incredibly comfortable, and the price was excellent too. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but they did have caviar available."
"Очень приятный отель , персонал все во время убирает
Каждый день обновляют кофе, чай, сахар.
Полотенце чистые и ассортимент их.
Наборы гигиены
Постельное белье меняли
Кондиционер
В целом очень доволен
Красная площадь в 2 км
Метро рядом"
"Spent two nights at the hotel. The room is standard, old, but has everything you need. The room smells delicious, towels and shampoo are changed and supplied. Washing is paid, after washing the trousers were brought unironed. In general, you can forgive everything for its location. Would I stay there again - definitely yes!"
"I booked this hotel based on Ctrip reviews, and it seems many Chinese tourists stay here. The location is decent. Housekeeping was slow. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. The Frank's BBQ ribs place that previous reviewers mentioned was okay. However, the staff there were very disrespectful to Chinese customers. I called for the bill five times in Russian over twenty minutes, but no one came. When they finally did, they just showed me their phone with Chinese text asking for a tip. Absolutely terrible service! I didn't book breakfast and, following other reviewers' advice, I just ate at the supermarket."

Amazing
GGuest UserA very pleasant hotel in the very center of the capital. Security starts at the gate. Guests without a room card or those who are not on the list of people booking a room will not be admitted. The second stage of verification at the entrance to the hotel. Luggage strap, like at airports, frame for the guest. Everything is beautiful and cultural. Receptionist is nice, fast and polite. Car parking fees for the center of Moscow are reasonable. You can enter and leave as many times as you like. Security at the entrance checks the number with the database. The Deluxe room itself was quite spacious. The view of the monument to Peter is impressive. The bathroom and toilet are clean. There is both a bath and a shower. Bottled water, kettle, tea/coffee, cream, sugar. Curtains block light well. There is a wellness center on the 14th floor. I would like the water in the pool to be a little warmer. Even an adult felt cold. But after 5 minutes you get used to it. And I would like the size of the pool to be larger. I think its purpose is to take a dip after the sauna. Of which there are 2. It could have been hotter) That’s how picky I am. The buffet breakfast is quite impressive. And porridge, and meat, and milk... The baked goods are delicious. Coffee from a coffee machine. Juices from good brand bags. Overall, definitely 5 points. Would I come back here again? Provided the price is up to 10 thousand rubles per room - yes.
KKartigeyan PerumalWonderful Stay at Mercure Arbat Hotel, Moscow – Highly Recommended!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My stay at Mercure Arbat Hotel in Moscow was absolutely delightful. The location is excellent — just steps away from Smolenskaya Metro Station and within walking distance to Arbat Street, making it easy to explore the city.
The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was stylish, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and modern facilities. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and cozy environment, which made for a perfect night’s rest.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide selection of fresh and delicious items to start the day. The hotel also has a great lobby area and a small fitness center that’s perfect for a quick workout.
Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. I would definitely recommend Mercure Arbat to anyone visiting Moscow — a true 4-star quality with 5-star service!
GGuest UserThe hotel is absolutely beautiful, its location is very convenient, everything is close by, you don't need a car or anything, it's all within walking distance. Plus, it's clean, the rooms are cleaned daily, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. I absolutely don't regret booking with them. I've made them my go-to hotel now, every time I come to Moscow I'll book with them. ❤️❤️❤️
GGuest UserThe hotel is extremely hot. Every day I wake up sweating. They turn on the heating, but it's not evenly distributed. I've told them three times, but to no avail.
Other guests have also told them, but there's no response.
There's an employee named Erkhan who is wonderful and very polite. He helped me repeatedly without any sign of fatigue or boredom. He says, ”If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask me.”
However, the employee on duty on Thursday, November 27th, was terrible, disrespectful, and uncooperative.
GGuest User1. We felt like our home, everything was excellent.
2. Walk to the metro, it's ok, not too far.
3. The best reception is always kind and lovely. She helped us to solve every problem, call the taxis, answer the questions, and give her beautiful smiling. ( She made the registration for us.)
4. We cooked happily because the kitchen was very clean and comfortable, drinking water is ok, hot and cold.
5. The supermarket is near and close 23.00 PM.
6. Everyone was good for the maid, it was perfect if she changed the towels for 2 days but she changed for us the fourth day (We stayed 5 nights.), she cleaned every day and the hotel was clean. She smiled lovely and she was very friendly.
5. The price is good. Thank you very much, our warm hotel
MM454782****The layout of the small loft is perfect for one person. The heating in the room is great. There are snowflakes outside the window, and it is so hot in the room that you need to open the window. The location of the hotel is great. Go downstairs and turn left to reach Arbat Street. The lobby is on the 2nd floor, and you need to carry your luggage up one floor. There is also a handsome guy at the front desk!
Jje ne sais quoiI stayed here during my Moscow trip in June 2025, for 6 nights. It was an affordable and comfortable stay.
This hotel has a convenient location, located right near Krasniye Vorota metro station and also very near to the train stations Leningradsky/Kazansky/Yaroslavl. This is a good location if you will be travelling to or coming from Saint Petersburg, Kazan or Nizhny Novgorod.
The place was clean and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. However, I found the bed a bit too soft for my liking and the wi-fi gets cut off at time to time which is problematic if you have calls to make.
GGuest UserWe chose this hotel mainly for its location which was near almost every tourist attraction, halal restaurants, coffee shops, and gift stores. Another reason was that it had bidets, however the water pressure was very weak and they sent help but didn't fix it, so we ended up using our travel bidet. We didn't book breakfast.
The staff are very helpful and easy going, and the hotel is very clean and well organized.
Overall 8.5/10
