"The hotel is a decent place to stay and not too far from Masjid Nabawi. The rooms and amenities are good enough for a comfortable visit. One tip for travelers: don’t just ask taxi drivers outside to take you to the mosque—they usually charge more than double. Make sure you have the Careem app downloaded; it consistently saved me over 50% on transport every single time. The hotel provides a shuttle service, but it only runs at prayer times (five times a day). This is convenient if you’re sticking to prayer schedules, but if you want to spend extra time in the mosque, you’ll likely need to use a taxi or Careem. Also, just be aware that their laundry service is on the expensive side. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with decent amenities, but planning your transport and laundry in advance can save you money and hassle."

"One of the best hotels in Madinah. Very close to Masjid Nabi S.A.W for the men (gate 365) It takes literally 5 mins to get to the masjid. On the quieter side of the masjid compared to the other side with all the buzz and it's very close to Jannatul Baqi too. The room size itself is massive. You get all the amenities in the rooms like slippers, bathrobes, shower gel etc. safe box in the cupboards which are big enough for all the clothes and even have an iron and ironing board in the room. All The staff are amazing and friendly especially the cleaners,. dining staff and luggage men. Very helpful and even gave us an extra 1 hour to check out because we were running late. Id definitely recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The hotel has a great location which is very close to the Prophet mosque, so it’s so convenient to go easily to pray for each prayer time in the mosque. The staff are so friendly and polite, the hotel is clean and also the breakfast buffet was very delicious and have different kinds of food."

"All the staff were very nice and helpful. I even received a free upgrade to a suite room. Really appreciated the warm service and comfortable stay! Housekeeping was great! We called to request some coffee and water, and the staff replied cheerfully, ‘Yes, we’ll give you everything you want!’ It really made our day. Their warm and helpful attitude added to our wonderful stay."

"Hello, the hotel is clean and the location is excellent. The bathroom in the twin room was a bit small. The buffet was well-stocked and the staff were very attentive. A minor issue was the reception; our check-in wasn't particularly pleasant, but this isn't representative of the whole stay, and check-out was fine with a different person. It's important for the staff to be pleasant and, above all, respectful, especially being so close to the Haram."

"Stayed here 5 nights- 23 to 28 September 2025. My adult nephew with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour ran away. The Duty Manager Rimah did everything she could to help us including speaking to the police to help file a miss person report. The housekeeping staff Hasan was off-duty and came across my nephew and brought him back to the hotel in a taxi. At this pool he been missing for more than 8 hours. The concierge was great too. Laundry service was spot on. I am genuinely sorry to the other guests who stayed during this time and that were on the 2nd floor as my nephew had challenging behaviour as part of his disability. Thank you to all the staff at Emaaar Mektan. You treated us like family and genuinely cared and appreciated our difficult circumstances. A huge shout out to Rimah the duty manager and the housekeeper Hasan."
