Currently staying at this hotel, decent ambience, courteous staff. Staying 5 nights at the property; came last night and leaving Friday. I use Marriott a lot in the US and around the world, have lifetime status with them and check out the reviews before staying at a property. A couple of things did not go well today on my 1st day. In the morning today, I saw a cockroach running around in the closet just as I was about to leave for work. Did not have time to fuss around, made sure my suitcase was closed and secure, took a quick video and left the room, showed it to the front desk and left for work. Hoping they came and took care of it and the cockroach does not start crawling around at night. Haven't seen it until now. And then after work in the evening, wanted to order room service since I was tired and did not want to venture out. I called the desk and they asked me to scan the menu and order online which I did just after 5:00 pm which is when the restaurant opens. I also received an email stating that the order had been placed. After 40-45 minutes, no delivery, so called front desk, they asked me about the order details which I gave to them. They checked and called back stating that there was a glitch and the order was never prepared. And finally the order came up; I had ordered 1 main course and a side salad, and they gave me a main course and a full dinner salad which is over twice the price. By this time, I did not have the patience or energy to call them back and just ate my main course along with a portion of the salad. Will probably mention it to them later to see if they can give me credit for the extra charge. So a disappointing first day, not sure what else I should expect during rest of the week.
This is my go to place anytime I’m in the area. I can’t say enough good about the rooms, safety and great staff. I’ve never had a terrible experience here and they go out of the way to make your feel at home. On my last trip I had an issue with workers that were on site working…one of the workers were extremely loud while on his phone. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk and experienced a shun from this person, stating they had to be there. Not sure she is this locations newest hire or just hasn’t been broken in at the moment. Her lack of concern really struck me but I will be sure to mention it to some of the other staff who always go out of the way. That’s the only problem I have ever experienced with all of my stays here. Home away from home.
The accommodation is really good, but the breakfast is unchanged on the first floor, and then the deposit of 200 US dollars will be charged. If there is no problem with check-out, they said that they will return three to five days. The deposit is indeed a bit high. The accommodation is really good and comfortable.
i experienced poor communication during my whole stay. 1. My reservation was for 2 rooms for 4 night on the same reservation. These rooms were not on the same floor luckily it was a business trip and didn't matter as much but it would have been nice if something was said during check in, instead we found out the hard way after getting off the elevator. 2. We went down to breakfast and exchanged pleasantries with the restaurants staff and found a seat assuming it was a full service restaurants. Only after sitting there waiting for 10 minutes and deciding to go somewhere else did we notice that you are supposed to order at the register. Again its not like we weren't seen but nothing was ever said even after placing an order with the same staff member. 3. The hotel policy is no housekeeping unless requested or after 5 days. Again I was never told of this. I endured multiple days of hoping for fresh towel until I accident saw the small printout in the room. I counted 6 different printouts scattered around the room that I guess I should have read to find out critical information. It was a nice property in a nice location. A few tweaks and it would have been a 5 star.
I sometimes have business in the area and like this location. Staff at front desk were attentive and friendly. My room was clean and comfortable. There was adequate lighting and easy access to electrical outlets. Bathroom was bright and clean. Room was quiet. I was tempted to use the outdoor pool but my timing was tight. Maybe next time.
This hotel is located in Alpharetta surrounding many other hotels, restaurants and business office. The hotel is slight dated and the hallways were extremely hot considering it was also about 97 degrees outside. The mobile key sometimes worked and sometime it didn't. Why check in on you cellphone and request mobile key if I still have to go to the check in counter and do everything again? The room was extremely hot upon entering due to the thermostat was off, so I had to cut the a/c on and leave the room for an hour to allow it to cool off. Why would the thermostat be off and it 97 degrees outside and you knew guest were arriving for the room? However the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant options until the room could cool off. The lobby was very open and accommodating for computer work or grabbing something from the bistro. Even though the hallways were extremely hot and mobile key issues , I'll return due to the staff I encountered on my visit.
1. The hotel is clean, quiet, free parking, with breakfast (milk, coffee, fruit, bread, yogurt), with outdoor swimming pool.
2. The location is good, 6 minutes drive to AVAlon pedestrian street (there are coffee shops, cinemas and clothing stores, etc., very elegant), 6 minutes drive to the very delicious Thai restaurant (nahm fine thai cuisine) (5310 windward parkway, suite C). 20 minutes drive to Zhonghua Supermarket, Chinese restaurants and other places.
3. I will choose this hotel next time,
Very friendly staff. Very clean Can’t wait to return.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe room environment is very good. It looks very nice. It's suitable for hanging out with friends. It's not far from the church. You don't have to get up too early to watch the sunrise. The surrounding environment is very good. I like it very much. There are many restaurants nearby.
GGuest UserWell, I was told by the concierge that was a 5-star hotel! Here is a list of the items that happened to me during my stay:
1. No toothbrush, no toothpaste
2. No slippers
3. No cotton swabs
4. They forgot to give me the breakfast voucher
5. I was served eggs and bacon which I didn’t order
In my opinion, this hotel could qualify for a 3-star rating, no more!
GGuest UserWe booked a room with two beds. When we checked in we were told they were overbooked, but they could ”upgrade” us to a king suite with a pullout sofa bed. The only option was to take this upgrade or search for another hotel at 10pm. A king suite with a pull out sofa bed is NOT an upgrade. The teenage boys were too long for the tiny sofa bed. When you have two adults and two large teenage boys, you need the room you booked! The sofa bed was terrible. Entire bed was on an angle. The ledge of the sofa made it feel like there was a bar 18” from top of mattress. It was a worn down 2” foam ”mattress”. Absolute worst night of sleep I have ever had in a hotel in my life. My neck and back hurt for days. Hampton Inn should be ashamed of what they have provided their customers. To be clear, this is not the result of anyone who worked the front desk at check-in or check-out. They did not overbooked the room, and they apologized when I brought this to their attention in the morning. This is Hampton Inn who overbooked and failed their customers. Hampton Inn provided a subpar sofa bed. So, Hampton Inn, check out the sofa bed in room 603. Stay for a night or a nap, then let me know what you think...
GGo43333551886I had a suite with a pleasant living area and a great work station with adjustable desk and chair!!! Actual comfort. Bathroom was small but it worked well including the shower head. Sink was outside the shower/toilet room, I like that and I think it is a great feature when more than 1 person is staying in the room. A/C control was good, no noise. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was super. Front desk staff very accommodating and pleasant. This was the top of the mid range hotel wish list.
GGuest UserMy son is a junior in college. He had a summer internship interview in Alpharetta and needed to stay overnight before the interview. I made a reservation at Towne Place Suites as it was close to the interview location. When I called to make sure my son's name was on the reservation I spoke with Charles at the front desk. Charles couldn't have been more helpful, friendly, and welcoming, assuring me that they would take good care of my son during his stay. They did just that. Charles and David were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They made sure my son had everything he needed, wished him good luck on his interview before he left the hotel in the morning, and even made sure he had a snack for his ride back to the airport. They treated my son like family and for that, I am extremely thankful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel!
GGuest UserRooms were clean and spacious and close to shopping and food. Staff was super friendly and the pool was a plus! We had issues checking into our third party reservation and Sydney at the front desk was amazing!
I'm so disappointed with this hotel. My daughter was having surgery so I booked a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen expecting to have a fully stocked kitchen. Cabinets were EMPTY. Few plates in the dishwasher , no cookware, no mugs. Really? I called the front desk who in turn had the manager call me.. the next day, who then told me”that's not a possibility”, then the house keeping manager called me ...again the NEXT day and said that she was not on site the day before. SO? House keeping never showed up, ever, even after calling me. I asked for them to come and unload the dishwasher and stock everything. They NEVER showed up. No toilet paper except for the half roll when we arrived, no soap in the kitchen, no way to wash dishes, no dish washing detergent, no towels in the kitchen, Nothing Nada. 2 remote controls for three TVs. Then to top it off the walls were paper thin and I was woken up by a foreigner next door talking so loudly that I had to call the front desk. This is not motel 6 ... or is it? When I checked out the manager still did not apologize. This is unacceptable. You pay for three nights, expect what is advertised, don't get it and then they don't even apologize or try to rectify it. So disappointing. Please GM talk to your hotel manager and house keeping manager and get them to do their jobs, Do NOT stay here. There were SOOOO Many other options. I'm so mad at myself for not believing the other reviews.
The service and the staff were very polite. They greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and well kept. The staff offered a shuttle service to and from the concert venue, Ameris Bank. They were polite and went above and beyond in keeping us safe.
DdenniscocA hidden gem since not exactly on the highway. If you are seeking a very comfortable night rest, this is the place. The lobby entrance is clean and attractive. King bed is firm, very large screen tv, mini refrigerator, sink is outside the shower/toilet. Then there is the breakfast that is more then what I have at home. Very safe parking area and I know that the 3rd floor hallways have beautiful carpets.
Aaalyssaxo3Love how clean and neat the hotel rooms are. The manager is such and doll and is so sweet. Staff is always there when you need them. Towels are clean always and I’ve seen bugs in A lot of hotels and i havent seen any here! Soo its a win for me:)
