The hotel is in a good location - easy access to I25 but far enough away to not pick up too much interstate traffic noise. Nice views from the parking lot and from our room (which was on the interstate side of the hotel. An easy walk to a nice shopping area with several restaurants. I would give this place 5 stars except...the pool is terrible. There are severely rusted parts, there is black mildew/mold growing on the bottom of the pool (not stains...but actual growth you can rub off with your toe when in the pool), and the pool area is generally dirty. I know hotel pools aren't the best, and they overtreat them because it's less work, but this pool is nasty. If you don't care about the pool, then this is a great hotel - our room was clean.

Front desk staff is terrific and friendly. There are really no bad views on all sides of the hotel if you're on a high floor. The pool was open and very clean nice workout area too. Concierge lounge open on very limited basis however good news they give you a coupon good for a wonderful breakfast buffet I had The Omelette it was good the team in this area are very friendly as well. The local shuttle staff is very accommodating very friendly and quick to respond I used them both nights in my state to go to local restaurants. Had a problem with the room on the first night they quickly put me into another room. Comfortable bed good TV good work area bathroom has walked in shower and was just fine. Almost forgot they have a nice lobby lounge with happy hour. Nice job Colorado springs Marriott team!
An Antarctic organization I am a member of had our reunion at the hotel. One surprise I had was that it was a few miles from the airport thus the Uber ride was a bit pricy. The ES is situated with several other large hotels so there must be a reason for its location. The check in was very easy and the staff were helpful and friendly. I received the room I had requested a second-floor king bed. The room was well set up with refrigerator, microwave, safe and a good bathroom with shower and tub. It was a suite with separate bedroom and room to entertain in the living room. The room was a bit dated, but everything was fine, and I found it very comfortable. The hotel is structured with a large indoor courtyard which I really like versus the standard long hallways. It could get a little noisy in the courtyard area, but you didn't hear much inside the room. The hotel is dated but is to undergo an entire renovation in the next year or so. I didn't use the restaurant or bar, but they looked good. Our reunion was a great success and a big reason for that was the friendly and professional hotel staff One thing you might not get out of the hotel information is the fact that it sits very close to a fantastic hiking trail. It's wide with plenty of signage and I enjoyed my walks there immensely. I enjoyed my stay and would certainly return.

Imagine a boutique Motel 6. Pictures on the website were deceiving. You can’t call yourself a hotel when you are a remodeled motel. You can put lipstick on a pig….I like the concept of SCP, as they have some decent properties in some really nice places. But why CoSpgs? The place is centered in the armpit of the city. Zero walk ability. Positives: Hospitality was above average. Cool lobby area with bar. Room was modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. Good value, no sneaky fees. Great if you were passing through and needed an inexpensive place to stay. Negatives: structural decay. Sounded like someone was rattling the door when they walked by. Room privacy not great because of the motel design. Random people lingering around the property. Some guy was using a leaf blower at 12am across the parking lot. Very noisy and sound proofing not good. Sketchy neighborhood.

We booked this place based on great reviews and the kitchenette option for an extended stay at a conference so we could prepare most of our own meals. At first glance, the rooms are well laid out, good natural lighting, decent water pressure, good sitting area separated from the bedroom and a separate shower/toilet area from the main sink/mirror area. Front desk gal was super-friendly and efficient at check-in, and the room appeared as advertised on the website. The place clearly has great potential. But things quickly went south after first impressions, particularly with housekeeping. We unloaded food, suitcases, etc and got settled in and ready to prepare our first meal and found very little cookware or dishes on the shelves. Then we checked the dishwasher--it was full of dishes, which was great...but they hadn't been run. Not a deal-killer and it was late, so we ran the wash cycle and improvised. Then we found one of the trash cans didn't have a liner. Again, not a big deal, just inconvenient. Then we found the microwave turntable had old food and crumbs all over it. Gross, but could have been overlooked. Then the kleenex box gave up the last tissue and not a replacement in sight. Again, inconvenient, but not a big deal in and of itself. But when we finally prepared to go to bed and turned down the sheets, we stopped in our tracks. The linens had very obviously not been laundered or changed, housekeeping just re-made the very dirty, hairy and stained bedding. Disgusting. We called the front desk and the check-in clerk was very nice and apologetic, but all by herself with no support staff at all. However, she personally ran up fresh linens for us. We *****ped the bedding and re-made our own beds at 10:30pm, albeit with some apprehension about the pillows themselves, and made do. The front desk clerk said she'd leave a note for the manager to resolve this problem and said he would be there the next day. By noon we had not heard a word from the manager and so we went to the front desk personally and re-told the story directly to him. While he was polite, his response was incredibly benign and quite unhelpful. He even made mention that he'd heard similar complaints about other rooms! His sum total of a solution was ”I'll be sure to have some words with housekeeping. Thanks for letting me know about this.” Really!?!?! How about some words right now and getting housekeeping up to that room on the double and fixing the problem? How about offering to move us to another room? How about a discount for the dismal state of the room? I'm not a hotel manager but I can think of a dozen better ways to treat a guest than ”gee thanks, I'll talk to housekeeping and it sucks to be you, but enjoy your stay.” We're not confrontational people, and perhaps we should have asserted ourselves in a more robust manner, but given the manager's attitude, I don't think it would have mattered. However, we would be terribly remiss in not warning pot

MMichele WoodThere is a difference between a suite and a studio. The suite has a separate room. Studio is one room. Both have small kitchen and pull out sofa. In our studio we could use the cushions from the sofa as another extra bed on the floor! There was no oven - just a stove top. There is full fridge, freezer, microwave, some dishes, some utensils and a pot and pan. Indoor pool was nice and warm maybe about 88?. Hot tub was adjustable heat and beautiful with jets. Great view of Pikes Peak. Not noisy. There was a full shower in the pool area (no walls and in the pool area). Lots of choices for breakfast buffet - eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, juice, sausage, waffles.
GGuest UserSpent one night while traveling home from holiday trip. Was very nice room and clean. Breakfast was was good and had nice variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. We've stayed in 3 BW hotels in other parts of the state and this one was the best. Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserBeware of staying at this Residence Inn, as my experience has been permanently marred. The staff here engages in collective dishonesty, tarnishing the reputation of the entire establishment. I arrived at the extended stay hotel at 3 am on Christmas Eve and had previously called to ensure a smooth check-in process. Management assured me that a late check-in was possible. However, upon arrival, the hotel was deserted, and security informed me that Judy, a staff member, was at the Fairfield Inn across the parking lot due to a system outage. After a confrontation with Judy, during which she charged my card without prior notice, the situation escalated. It's important to note that these charges occurred while I was stranded on top of a mountain in snowy conditions. Despite the system outage, she insisted on a $400 security deposit, citing policy. Resigned and exhausted at 3 am, I agreed to use a different card. After our argument, Judy agreed to let me stay if I walked back to the Fairfield Inn (2725 Geyser Drive) to ask the manager, Matthew, if that was okay. So, reluctantly, I did. After explaining and apologizing the manager gave me a room key for a room at the Fairfield just for the night. He said go get some sleep but the room he gave me wasn't ready. When my fiancé expressed displeasure about the room and Judy, Matthew, decided to escalate the situation by calling 911 and falsely claiming my fiancé alone was refusing to leave. He NEVER mentioned me in his report. The following day, discovering additional charges on my account, I returned to the Residence Inn. The woman working day shift IMMEDIATLY began treating me differently because of the night prior. She plastered on a fake smile and then made excuses for helping out 3 other people even though I was there first! Then, instead of helping she provided false information about holds on my account in order to stall me until the her boss showed up. I endured all of this only to discover that the entire night shift fabricated a report about us being violent and aggressive and refusing to leave. The day shift manager fixed the issue and then I left. This experience was a nightmarish sequence of lies and mistreatment. The evening shift staff, particularly Judy, Matthew, and their small security guard. Should reflect on their actions. This Marriott has proven to be the worst I've ever encountered. Potential guests, especially disabled veterans, should exercise caution and explore alternatives such as the LA Quinta Inn across the street. Beware of deceptive reviews; the staff at this establishment appears to be unified in dishonesty, even towards disabled veterans.
TTIANXIANGThe hotel is close to the Air Force Academy, there are supermarkets and shopping malls opposite, and there is a lot of food nearby, and shopping is convenient. Traffic is also available, and it is very convenient to use the 25th highway. The hotel's breakfast is rich and free parking is recommended.
This understated hotel was an excellent choice when needed while waiting for vacancy at my work retreat hotel. The shuttle service from airport was a short wait, worth it for the tips on the area from the driver. All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were nice amenities as well. The room was spacious and the bathroom counter was a treat for the female traveler. The bed allowed me the best sleep I have had while on travel in a long time, truly! I recommend this hotel. The basics are delivered spectacularly.

AAndreaStayed on my own as part of our conference. Room was good but not 5 star. The view from the room was stunning and the bed was amazing. The staff were friendly but not upfront helpful. Friendly but forthcoming. Breakfast was great, fast and the staff gave priority to seating at the best view on a first come basis which was a nice, considerate touch. The main reception area is beautiful with high timber ceilings with beams and a huge fire. I'd stay again although not that close to shops but Uber was reasonably available and fast.
WWienerThe front entry was under construction, so that we had to figure out how to go into the hotel. It was not very obvious. We stayed in room 221 which was 5 rooms away from I-25. We can hear the traffic a little. One of us was a light sleeper but was able to sleep through the night. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and clean. The bathroom fan was a bit loud. There was no body lotion in the room. We asked at the front desk, but they didn't have any either. The breakfast was OK. It was a walking distance to the Broadmoor Ice Arena, so the location was perfect for us.
Our room was clean, the staff was friendly but the hotel itself is in bad need of updated. Carpets are worn, wall need painting, wallpaper needs updating as it is torn in places. We hope the hotel gets the attention it needs as it is located in a great part of town and we would like to stay there again.
