"This is a great place to stay for one night near the airport. It was much cheaper than staying in Manhattan, so I think it was a good choice. While the building appears to be a bit older, the interior was clean and well-organized. The only downside is that the amenities are limited to shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a small hand cream-sized body lotion."
"This hotel feels a bit like an old car, but it's a decent option for a layover near Newark Airport. They offer an airport shuttle, though it doesn't run very frequently. The breakfast was particularly bad, and the plates looked like they weren't even washed properly. I even overheard a Chinese gentleman in the restaurant constantly complaining about it."
"The proximity to the airport is ideal. There's a large mall right next door, which is within walking distance. The front desk staff were rather unfriendly and seemed uninterested. The airport shuttle is advertised to run every 30 minutes. However, at 4:45 AM, we had to wait for over 20 minutes. After our checkout, the man at the front desk had disappeared and didn't reappear. Another woman, who was also waiting for the shuttle, ended up calling a taxi because she couldn't ask anyone at the reception when or if it would arrive. The shuttle driver was also very unfriendly and didn't help with loading our luggage. Overall, the service was far from customer-friendly. What a shame."
"Got stuck in Newark overnight, as were many people that night, and I booked this room pretty late when there weren’t many options left. I was lucky to get it. It’s wasn’t far from the airport. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. The lady at the desk when I checked out was quite friendly. It’s a bit noisy because it’s on the main road."
"Staff is excellent. Very helpful and we were able to leave out luggage worry free with the front desk.
Hotel is older but finishes are modern. Room was nice and clean!"
"A 2-bedroom suite with a sofa bed. It’s good for a family of 3 and 7 suitcases that need to be unpacked. Except that sometimes the plane is a bit loud, everything else is good; free shuttle bus picks up and drops off every half hour, and breakfast is also available, opposite It is the largest outlets in New Jersey, convenient."
"I stayed at this location twice during my trip & had different experiences based on the person at the front desk. The hotel has a shuttle but it only runs certain hours; therefore, if your flight is late and the front desk doesn’t care, you are left stranded in finding a way to the hotel. The first person rounded up a shuttle for pick up, the second person said I just needed to find a way there (which was very expensive).
The breakfast was hot coffee and bags of tea & hot water, instant packs of oatmeal and grits (when not hoarded by other guests), individually packaged chocolate & plain muffins, and granola bars. It’s something, but definitely not my first choice.
This place is not the best nor the worst so if you want a definite shuttle, choose a closer location."
"I had a pleasant stay at the Hilton Newark Hotel. While the hotel is far from downtown, it’s a great choice for travelers flying in or out of Newark Airport. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff made the experience smooth and hassle-free. Perfect for a quick stopover!"
"In order to live opposite the outlets, I chose here. The room price is very high. It belongs to an apartment hotel. It has full kitchen equipment and can cook rice. Will choose here next time"
"Staying here again, it's very convenient to take the shuttle to P4.
It rained both days after I checked in. I could hide in my room or go to the lobby to get some fresh air, but I couldn't walk across the road to Jersey Garden for shopping and eating. I ordered Uber Eat, which was a bit expensive, but they would call me at the front desk when I arrived.
There are still too many crew members.
I remember that we didn’t have breakfast before, but now we have it. It’s the heated kind. Fortunately, I have an American stomach, so I think it’s pretty good.
Personally, I feel that the EWR entry and exit experience is better than that of JFK."
