GGuest UserI drove over 5 hours from Austin for a marketing trip in the Rio Grande Valley. Got checked in, unpacked and went to grab some dinner. When I came back to the room, all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. When I opened the shower, I was disgusted to see it full of pubic hair. It was evident the shower wasn’t even rinsed out, let alone cleaned. I started looking closer and found even more hair on the floor outside the shower. I went downstairs ( because when I tried to call the front desk I discovered the phone didn’t work) but because it was almost 9 PM there was no one in housekeeping to clean it up. I asked if I could use a vacuum and was told no. I asked if there was a manager on-site, there was not. The guy at the front desk texted someone and asked if I could use a vacuum and was told no, they could move my room. Problem is the elevators also didn’t work so I already had to drag my luggage upstairs, the new room would be up more floors and why would I have reason to believe that a new room would be any cleaner? Very disappointed and grossed out.

GGuest UserFirst time to stay at this location. Pleasantly surprised with genuinely the nicest front desk staff Ralph!! Large fish tank that mesmerized my children. Clean cool room on 4th floor, comfy queen beds, sparkling pool, good variety breakfast and perfect location to get around town. I should of gotten a pic of the fish tank. LOL! Thank you for your time and glad we stayed at Hampton Inn!

We booked based on reviews and no matter what people put here...perspective is reality. This isn't a fake review either nor did anyone or any other competitor pay me to write this. I don't typically review but this had to be said. My wife, daughter and I came to help her get set up in her apartment before starting back at college again. Checking reviews to make a decision are deceiving and worthless....so here we go, location bad, AC didn't keep humidity out of room, mattress was lopsided and uncomfortable (slept horrible), bathroom was still dirty, girl at front desk told my daughter....”breakfast is light in a small area”. I walked in the next morning looked to see for myself and it was just as described, got a cup of coffee and walked right out...ended up throwing out coffee as it was not good and we went to eat somewhere else. I decided we weren't going to stay another night as we had booked 2 nights. Called front desk to see what can be done and because of price we paid which was $109 with tax per night for a 2 queen room we could only get credit for leaving early. I asked guy at front desk how much is same room rate if we didn't get reduced rate...he said about $120 a night with no taxes. We stayed in a 2 queen room at Holiday Inn Express Pharr for $144 which included tax regardless with possibility of losing out on $109 was so worth it....clean, comfortable bed, more spacious, great breakfast and so on. It goes without saying...”you get what you pay for”. I got my credited night notice via email to use before 10/31/23 and that money is gone as I will never stay there again.

BbettymezadjI host my baby and husband, we weren't there for two hours. My sleeping son very unquietly, never is it, I felt something on my foot, and by checking nothing more and nothing less than slips, the manager only offered ”spray” to apply in the room or change our room, Then I was aware that I was not able to do anything to return the payment, that if the manager arrived in the morning (it was Saturday morning) to say that not until Monday.

Great staff. General manager (Elizabeth) is doing a wonderful job. Rooms come with fully furnished kitchenette, and it close by to restaurants and the mall is super close. Clean rooms. Thank you Studio 6 I will be coming back.

AAhgusGood location if using rideshare, clean room and helpful friendly front desk. There is a gas station nearby with a shop. Good for short stay if early flight oit.

GGuest UserUpon checking in and going to room we discovered there no towels or soap in the room. I called the front desk and was told that they’d bring them “right away” which apparently means sometime between 20 minutes and an hour. I called the office again and was told they were too busy. I finally went to the office to get towels and told them there was no soap either. The response? “Motel 6 no longer supplies toilet items but I’ll give you some we have leftover?” Really? No soap? How is one supposed to was one’s hands after toilet use or bathing? How is one supposed to know this? TripAdvisor didn’t notify us. What’s next? Will I have to bring my own toilet paper? Are my own sheets next? Should I not expect a little soap for $75 a night? Motel 6 just lost another client.
