The environment is good.

Yes, it would be better if we come back in summer. After all, in winter, the roads in Yellowstone Park are almost impassable. There are no snowmobiles at the North Gate, but there are snowmobiles at the West Gate.

 The hotel is a separate cabin. There is a hall, a kitchen, a dining table, a room and a bathroom.  There is also a supermarket nearby. It is convenient.  It is very close to Yellowstone Park. We are in winter. There are many sections because the road is frozen. It has been closed. I can see a small number of attractions, this is a little regret, I like to see more attractions next summer.

Stayed one night, would have been better off sleeping in the car. Would have stayed somewhere else, but being right outside Yellowstone, there wasn't any other rooms available. Bed was so worn out that both my husband and I would roll to the sagging area in the middle of the bed, even sleeping on the edges of the bed. Something wrong with bed frame, made horrible noise anytime you got up. Floors were dirty with large tufts of dog hair. Took two short showers, and water was starting to cool partway through the second one. Sheets and towels were stained, and there was something white and crusty all over the exterior of the mini fridge door. Needless to say, this is the last Super 8 we will ever stay in. Would have been better off sleeping in our car.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. In room Keurig machine. But-- the staff really shined when the day after Christmas one of our car's tires went from a slow leak to flat. The night crew let the morning crew aware of our predicament. The one main auto shop was closed for a holiday break. Chester the maintenance man located a compressor and located a local who ran a small mechanic's shop. We filled the tire so I could drive the 2 blocks to the shop. Bill the mechanic was able to get the flat fixed. O yeah--all this happening when it was 10 deg. outside. Kudos to Samantha, Allison, Nathaniel, Chester, and one other nice woman whose name I didn't catch but her daughter is friends with the mechanic's daughter. Gardiner's population is less than 1,000 and the nearest bigger town is 50+ miles away so we were glad to get our car back on the road. Gardiner is at the North Gate of Yellowstone. Lodging in the park can be nearly impossible during tourist season. This would be a great place to stay just outside the park. Very pet friendly. Nice areas to walk our Corgi who also made friends with all the staff. Just a reminder to all pet owners---Please pick up.....

According to the itinerary, this motel in North Gate of Huangshi is very close to the gate of the north gate, but it takes nearly half an hour from the north gate to the hot spring. The room was large and looked very clean, but at night there was a bug that jumped on my mom's face! The hotel does not have breakfast, there are free coffee, tea and chocolate, the front desk recommended to go to the restaurant 2 km away for breakfast, but given the bad experience of the first day of dinner or give up. Parking is free and you stop outside your room.

The hotel has been renovated. The bed sheets are made of high-count cotton and are very comfortable. Western-style breakfast is also suitable for Chinese tourists. There are parking lots, tea bags, and hot water. I booked a month in advance and gave a big discount.
