I recently checked in to the Marriott hotel in Omaha, Nebraska. This hotel seems to be new and lavishly constructed and decorated. However, the staff is not well trained. I do not believe them to be graduates hotel management, as I was checking in. I waited approximately 20 minutes as I was goingto to the counter Person at the counter let someone who just started waiting ahead of me after I checked in. I went to my room. The Wi-Fi did not work. I have had to call the front desk at which point the person gave me wrong information although later did ,I would not recommend the Marriott hotel in Omaha Nebraska to anyone. It seems to be extremely sub par and The employees are not trained.
The hotel is in a good location, close to the airport, with parking. Self parking is 15 dollars a night. However, the hotel facilities are average, bath towels are not provided, and sanitation is average, so I will not stay again next time.

A group of us stayed one night for work as we were conducting a workshop nearby. Facilities were fine -- clean room, clean facilities, well appointed. Poor service, however, soured my stay. At check in, staff could not find my reservation. Just matter of fact -- 'your name is not showing up.' I showed my reservation number and they still could not find it. After 15 minutes, still checking, still no apology. Not much communication or even 'sorry for the wait.' Almost a sense of annoyance. I called the folks in our bigger group who were waiting outside for me ... I asked them to go ahead to dinner so as not to lose our reservation. The 2 staff members could hear this but still no apology. After about 5 more minutes, I asked if it would take longer. Shoulder shrug, they did not know. It was only after I said that I have now lost my ride and that I will be late for dinner that they finally said 'sorry for the wait.” They also said that this HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. (hmmm.... if so, no change?) Next morning, new staff. I asked how to order the free breakfast as this was indicated during my reservation for the rate I reserved. Very curt, bordering on rude, staff said 'there is no free breakfast. Unless you can show me documentation, no free breakfast.” Staff went on and on saying there was no free breakfast, etc. rather loudly, too. This was annoying, embarrassing, and felt belittling -- making me feel like I was trying to be sneaky to get $7 worth of food . My colleague was already having her coffee and she was miffed and said she had the same exact treatment. Just as we were planning to go across the way to Scooters, staff member came to us, seeming to have a change of heart and said she would comp us breakfasts as she thought it was only right, as govt employees. Nice, but did not make up for the rudeness and embarrassment earlier. She then came back apologized, indicating that she did more checking and found that indeed there was free breakfast for our rates. I wonder whether admin is providing good work conditions or fostering healthy work culture. Staff at night and morning did not seem happy to be there. Hotel could have been nice but given the computer glitches and poor interface with staff, I will not be returning nor recommending this place to others.

Only stayed one night, just me and my wife. Room was overall very clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Got lucky and had a great East-facing view from our window on the 6th floor. Bed and pillows were comfy and the triple blinds kept the room extremely dark into the morning (for those of us that enjoy sleeping in.) Only very minor complaint is that a couple of the lamps didn't work, but there were so many other working lamps in the room that it didn't really matter. Didn't use the TV because there's a million things to do downtown, but if we had stayed longer I would have enjoyed spending more time relaxing in the room. Pool was closed, when we arrived at night but was open the next morning. No hot tub. The checkout time of 12:00pm made lounging in the morning extra enjoyable. Breakfast options at the hotel were typical/satisfactory (toast, bagels, yogurt and fruit, juices, milk and non-dairy milk, coffee and tea). Option to spring for something fancier at the adjoined cafe for a price. Breakfast area was pleasant; large and fairly spacious. Parking was $15 for the night but totally worth it; so many great places were within walking distance. Location is awesome, with tons of breweries, restaurants, ice cream places, and shopping within 1-2 blocks. Will definitely be returning to Omaha and staying at this hotel!

The rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable. The Staff went out of their way too make sure my stay was excellent. I ordered some room service for lunch and breakfast and it was prompt and excatly what I wanted. I became ill and had to go to urgent care. The shuttle service at the hotel drove me there, picked me up and took me to a pharmacy for my prescription. Just a warm, professional experience. I highly recommend the Magnolia in Omaha.
The hotel is very nice. I appreciated the knowledge of the staff. There was plenty of staff. It is clean. I am not a fan of the vinyl floors in the rooms, I would love a rug. Bring socks or slippers. The bed and linens are excellent. Do not snooze on the bar and restaurant! The food is amazing and quick. Staff attentive. Not a deal breaker but $12 for parking. There is designated parking so I'm not sure they should make you pay, especially for Choice members.

MMegan HI have to say, I was pretty disappointed in this Hampton after reading all of the great reviews and seeing the trip advisor choice award 2024 as well. Our room was fairly clean, but things were missed like the countertop of the wet bar, etc. We booked a suite room to sleep my family if 6. We had to go back down to the front desk for bedding for the sleeper sofa after even confirming at check in that there was indeed bedding in the room…there was not. The phone did not work which I tried to use to call about the missing bedding. The towels were also paper thin (could really use replacing) and again we were only given 3 towels and two wash cloths in a room that sleeps 6. When you book a larger room at a higher rate and state that the number of guests is 6, it is honestly expected that the proper amenities are in the room or at least given to you at check in. Having to continue to ask and hunt down what is needed is not good hospitality in my opinion. The breakfast was really not good either (there were very few options and what was offered looked as though it had been sitting there for days…tasted as such as well. The eating area was also not being serviced. Every table was dirty as they were not wiping them down between guests. Lastly, the overall experience from the employees was lackluster. No one greeted us when we walked by the front desk at any time. If we needed something, we had to get their attention. There were no, “good mornings or welcomes” Heads were always down at the desk/computer. I think Hamptons in general have gone down hill especially for the price. If we are in the area again, we will be staying elsewhere.
GGuest UserGreat location. Professional and friendly staff. Breakfast each morning. Evening happy hour. Restaurants located nearby. Grocery located in hotel. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Kitchenette in room with all needed supplies. Will stay here again.
Stayed here recently with my wife during a business trip to Omaha. Got a nice sized, King Suite room with Jacuzzi and shower. Nice large, spacious room, though a bit out dated. That doesn't really bother me much at all, except the Jacuzzi simply DID NOT WORK. Couldn't even turn the water on! In addition to this, the hot water in the bathroom was virtually non-existent. I'm not exaggerating in the least when I say that you had to turn the water on in the shower, sink, etc., and simply walk away for several minutes and come back for it to even be warm. It seems the hospitality industry everywhere we go has completely abandoned even the most basic and standard elements of ensuring people have a pleasant stay while traveling. We were loyal to another hotel chain (IHG hotels) for over 25 years when we started getting frustrated with their increasing poor management and quality and starting staying in Choice hotels hoping to see something better. Well, they've been a major disappointment as well. We don't expect 5-star resort treatment at these places, but when trying to book the better rooms and still stay budget-friendly you don't expect to take for granted things like hot running water. The hotel wasn't at all busy so it wasn't a matter of the plumbing system being taxed with maximum occupancy. We also stayed in another Choice Hotels location this same weekend and it was an even worse experience. The only redeeming quality about this place was that the lady running the breakfast area in the morning was staying on top of things. Apart from that, we're pretty much through with Choice Hotels at this point. May just have to start traveling in an RV and avoid hotel stays altogether!
There were a couple hiccups finding a room but Brooke at the front desk was extremely helpful getting us a room! I felt like a pain since we had to change rooms more than once but not only did she make sure we ended up in a comfortable room for our stay, she provided breakfast vouchers for the bit of inconvenience. Great service all around.
SSheila PI am impressed with the bed in the pillows. The pillows are very comfortable and some hotels give you those skinny ones these are nice and firm and fat and comfortable. I do have a problem with the $100 incidental charge it takes forever to get back on your credit card. I can understand this charge especially for new guests but I am a rewards member and I am a very frequent traveler who stays with choice hotels all the time and sometimes it's not worth the hassle to go through with that.
翔翔哥爱唱歌Not far from a friend's house, the location is easy to find, there are plenty of parking spaces, the hotel should be a bit old, but it is clean and the bed is relatively comfortable. The breakfast is very rich, and the waiter attitude is also very good, will take the initiative to come and ask. Price concessions, worth recommending
